Very peaceful area, lovely views of the country side. Hosts very welcoming, would definitely return
location is in the country, although Wragby is a few minutes drive. A excellent butcher and another 10 minutes drive is a fresh fruit and veg outlet. Wonderfull and tasty produce.
From my personal point, the water in the shower could have been set a little warmer. Although I accept that energy consumption is a must for all of us today.

This is a fantastic property to rent.
This cottage was as good, if not better than the photographs had promised and was ideal for a relaxing and luxurious break. It was light, spacious and airy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with lovely bedding, the towels were sumptuous and the downstairs wet room a real bonus for my elderly mother. The owners went above and beyond in doing everything they could to make our stay as wonderful as it could be, including lots of good tips about places to go and to eat and with the unexpected use of a perching stool for my mum to use in the bathroom. The setting was quiet and picturesque with far reaching views over the countryside on one side and horses in a paddock on the other. You will need to take the driveway up to the cottage steadily, especially if you have a low slung car as it has a high central camber. The co-op in nearby Wragby was very useful and well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal at the Heneage Arms, a community run pub in nearby Hainton, recommended by the owners. The welcome pack of essentials (tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc.) was great but we were delighted to also find eggs, Lincolnshire plum bread, fudge and a delicious piece of local cheese. There were only the 3 of us but this venue would equally suit a family of 6 as there is plenty of space. We could not recommend The Groom's Quarters highly enough.
