Beautiful! We came during the less-busy season and were able to score the beach (mostly) to ourselves. It was glorious! If you haven’t seen the sun rise and set on the beach (especially St. Augustine Beach), you are missing out, my friend!

Amazing stay. Everyone was great. Even though we had to evacuate for the hurricane everyone was as so helpful and I can’t wait to go back. Beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend

Overall the trip was amazing. The beach was great. However i expected a resort to offer any type of room service. They do not. There was not a spa or anywhere choose to have the types of extras i expected from a "resort." It was an average hotel.

I reserved a king oceanview in July for my anniversary in September. Upon our arrival I was told they were over booked and didn’t have anymore king or oceanview rooms available. This really irritated me considering I reserved 2 months in advance. I was offered a double queen partial view or double queen pool view. While the front desk did lower the pricing it still left me upset. This was my 1st time in Florida and our 1st Anniversary. I wish they would have planned better or at least notified me prior to my arrival.

My teen son and I just spent 4 nights at Guy Harvey Resort and had a very enjoyable stay. The room with balcony (side of building but with ocean view) was perfect for us as it provided some extra space, fresh air and decent view, but not directly in front of the louder pool/tiki bar area. Beds were quite comfortable. I noted how clean the resort was and fresh smelling throughout even with it being so dog-friendly. I plan to return at some point with my pup! The restaurant on site was excellent also and the staff especially the housekeeping were so nice and made the effort to speak to you in passing. Overall, a very well run resort and we will certainly return in the future.

My husband and I had a great stay! We had booked for two nights, but ended up extending our stay with one night. The hotel is nice and clean, the room however, does show some wear and tear. The beds are incredibly comfortable and all the staff have been very nice and accommodating. The hotel is right by the beach and you can rent chairs and an umbrella for a very reasonable price. The hotel also has a very nice pool with a bar! If you want to check out St. Augustine historic district, there is a bus that will take you straight from the hotel to the trolley, which is super convenient. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice and chill beach vacation in close proximity to St. Augustine.

Front desk associate was obviously need some social skills to take care of customers. She was very short and not candid. To have a driven, enthusiastic and pleasing personality should be the one running the front line. We have need of a prompt service, a toilet pump was needed during our stay but was told that they get to it when they can. It is check out time and we have waited. The sense of urgency was not the priority of this associate so my husband had to put her on her place when he returns to ask for it. One good advice I can give, kindness matters no matter how small. In this instance she have shown the opposite and the energy is not candid. The previous workers was totally hands on and can connect to clients. The other younger associate was totally friendly however the other lady with color seemed to be rude. We been coming to this hotel so it is not our first time.

Great location a little south of downtown St Augustine. Beautiful beach and easy access from the pool. Pool was comfortable and clean! Rooms were comfortable enough and large. Only complaint is that for kids, I couldn’t stream shows on the Tv and the basic cable was not cutting it. Otherwise, the hotel was peaceful and the beach/pool was so nice! Have already sent friends there and would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort so clean so nice and amazing pool and beach access, super close to everything we wanted to do in Saint Augustine maybe a 8 minute drive , staff was friendly and helpful. As a family of 4 we wanted a nice safe and affordable place to go for a little vacation and everything we needed was right in the resort , we swam in the pool and did the beach ate at the in resort restaurant highly recommend the biscuits and gravy breakfast and fried shrimp platter , and had many adult beverages at the tiki bar (recommend the frozen shark bite drink ) and we went off sightseeing and right down the road are many other great places to eat and mini golf this is a great place for a family or anyone to stay !

The word “resort” should not be used for this property. The check in was complicated due to the App & hotel communications. The room was inferior in that the walls were paper thin and the bed was hard. Parking for vehicles was limited. Overall I would comment “Been there, done that - Never Again” I felt bad for Guy Harvey.

I felt that the hotel was lower grade than what I expected. I found a lot of maintenance issues. The bathroom. There were things that needed fixing. Cleanliness was low walls were spotted with mold in the shower. Near the sink needed better cleaning. The refrigerator did not work to cool food. Freezer was frozen solid. House keeping lady was not friendly. And guest running through hallways at late night talking loud. Dogs barking. So yes, I was disappointed. But I did see a beautiful sunrise.

The hotel was nice for the price. Right on the beach. The room was very clean and smelled very nice. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom small but functional. The pool wasnt as big as the picture. It was very busy and noisy while we were there, but its to be expected. The front office area is very nice and updated. The restraunt needs more options. We did not eat there for that reason. Would stay again if in the area again. Just dont get a room by the ice maker.

The location is perfect and the property connects directly to the beach. The pool is a good size and chairs umbrellas and lounges are readily available. The poolside bar is a great feature with plenty of seating at the bar and surrounding deck. The resort was very clean with friendly helpfull staff. Onsite restaurant with very good food and a nice bar.

This is a solid hotel on the beach. Nothing crazy fancy. Just a nice clean hotel. Santiago’s restaurant is a nice place for a burger and a draft beer. This hotel overall was quiet at nite. I didn’t hear any slamming doors or anything at all which was nice. So we we ere walking in the beach and actually go to see 3 logger head turtles hatch from the nest so that alone made our weekend

For what it is...a surface level revamp at the beach it's actually quite nice with good staff and, again, an unbeatable location. I wouldn't call it a resort but it's definitely an option if you want pool and beach for some casual days.
