The people were rude when we called to request early check in and hung up on us. Then they told us we would but on a waitlist for early check in. Then when we called again they said they didn’t do waitlists and it was first come first serve. When we got there they gave us a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. Then they gave us another room which didn’t smell but was still very dirty (i took pictures). It was not a pleasant experience and the waste of our money for a weekend family trip.

The caucasian young lady with dark who checked us in at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming which gave an initial bad vibe. There is no hot tub and homeless individuals on sidewalks and in tents near by.

This hotel is in really good shape! Everything from the beds to the elevator look like it's been remodeled in the past few years. Given the graffitti and dying Lloyd Center Mall next to it, this is a safe oasis. (I've stayed at several Doubletree that were shabby and often had broken furniture or plumbing or electrical issues) Pros: Clean, everything working, good front desk, close to light rail! Cons: Close to really unsavory parts of Portland, not close to food, watch out for one way streets surrounding it.

The neighborhood the hotel is in is pretty run down. A lot of homeless. Even the main entrance to the hotel lobby stays closed and is only accessible with your room card key or if an employee opens up, due to the problem.

The hotel has hidden costs, parking, water for the room and the cost for breakfast was high. There was no refrigerator or microwave for the room. The rooms are small in size as well. There was homeless around the property in a park across the street. I would not let my love ones walk on the street.

The room next door was really loud all night, there’s no fridge in the rooms, and no hot tub. Other then that it was a clean and nice hotel and even had welcome on the tv screen.

Hello, not really good nights, The train comes and goes all the time and it's very noisy and it doesn't let us sleep. Also, the shampoo bottle, shower gel, and conditioner are empty. We had to buy some to take a shower. The shower was bit really clean ( walls).

I felt safe at the property but I really appreciated the gated garage. I saw security around the property several times during my stay. There is a park next door to the hotel that had a lot of homeless. I guess that is just Portland but I wouldn’t have left the property and walked around the area.

Hotel charged over $100 more than quoted on hotels.com for no reason. When I called, they said it will take 5 business days to get the funds back. The hallways held trash for several days and our room shampoo/conditioner/body wash were all empty.

I usually stay at Airbnbs, for this trip I thought I would give hotels a try again and I genuinely regret it. In the past I’ve always stayed at a Double Tree because I’ve always had a wonderful experience, this visit has tarnished the previous wonderful experiences I’ve had and I will certainly never be booking with Double tree in the future. If I had known there would be no room service, rude employees, and charged for every little sneeze I had I would have picked an Airbnb and called it a day.

A nice hotel and great staff. Clearly COVID impacted this area hard and they are recovering, but in the immediate vicinity there are very few restaurants or coffee shops and after dark the area is deserted.

Staying here now. Spoke to someone twice at front desk about the horrible smell of urine around the pool as well as the active bugs in our room. Wish we hadn’t chosen this hotel sadly. Staff completely dismissed our issues.

One of the worst stay ever . Came to celebrate son’s birthday ended up first night with leaking noisy toilet . After complaint they send some one to fix but it again continued . Then we had horrible experience of house keeping no fresh towels coffee provide after reminding and noting issues we still didn’t have help . There were no body lotion filled in the bottle showed half baked service was done
