Great location. Very sweet and cozy, great atmosphere with apple scent throughout the hallways. Breakfast was good, not the best I’ve ever had in a hotel but better than most. My only complaints are that we put the Do not disturb magnet on our door but they still came in, knew because bed was made but strangest of all is that they picked up and folded my boxers and put them on the lower shelf of the bathroom vanity, my dirty underwear that I left on the floor after my shower. That’s the first I’ve ever had any staff pick up my underwear off the floor. Also the beds were way too soft and my wife who has a bad lower back had trouble sleeping and getting comfortable. Would’ve liked more firm,supportive mattresses. Lastly, I wish they had trash cans in the common areas such as by the elevators, by outside side doors, etc like most hotels do. I don’t like keeping trash in my room but luckily if the housekeeping staff was out I could use their big trash cans they roll around. They have a trash can by the front entrance and in coffee area but wish more like side doors leading outside and elevator areas. There’s plenty of room so don’t know why they don’t have more trash cans in common areas. Overall I’d stay here again but they need to replace the mattresses at least. It really is a nice place though.

The property appears to be older, but very well maintained, and the staff is very friendly and professional, definitely would recommend this place to others, we will probably stay here again if we are ever in the area

We stayed here for our 42nd anniversary . The hotel was decorated beautifully for fall. It smelled like apples! Our room was very clean . The bed slept great and the pillows were like clouds. Lots of towels . Everyone was very nice and always spoke . Great place to stay . We enjoyed our stay.

The atmosphere is great. The whole property smells like apples! Thete a yummy breakfast and firepit to enjoy at the end of a ling day. Its right in the center of all the activities and about a 10 min drive to Gatlinburg. Pleanty of places to eat and even next to a Walgreens.

I’ve stayed in this hotel before and it gives me the feeling of being home in my bedroom as a child. I believe that is because I use to meet my family from Augusta there on vacation. Like many older places it has a few dimples. Example the bathroom door world not lock and the main door had cracks around the edges needing to be sealed. I’m picky about things like the view out my windows but I can live with the bathroom door not locking. I’ve always felt safe and secured in this hotel and at night with all the twinkling lights it is really pretty! Also I want to say to DJ ( night clerk) thank you so much for helping me when I first arrived getting my reservation straightened out. You went way beyond what most night clerks would have done! I thank you!

The hotel is so clean and smells like apples! The pool areas are nice and clean, the hotel is quiet, the complimentary breakfast is amazing! They had an amazing spread every morning. The staff was all absolutely amazing, Sarah especially was so kind and accommodating, we loved her!

The staff was friendly, and our room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good with scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, toast/pastries and cereal. The location is conveniently located near many attractions. The only negative was the elevator, which seemed to be very slow. Other than that, I recommend this hotel.

Hot tub does not work. Indoor pool was cloudy and over-treated with chemicals, parking is ridiculous, no water pressure in the shower, bed was lumpy, pillows were tiny, and the jacuzzi in the room would take 2 hours to fill enough to use.

The only two things I did not like were 1. Bathrooms were sooooooo small, you were practically standing on top of toilet when you were using sink and 2. Walls were so thin you could hear everything going on around you, for 2 days we stayed awake because of man snoring next door!

I was disappointed with my stay after reading the reviews. The bottom of my socks were FILTHY after walking around the hardwood floors in my room. Also, the sheets were very scratchy and uncomfortable.
