there was holes in the sheets no bed cover and misc. items on sheets hard to tell what it was, stains on the floor and in every drawer, it felt dirty too.

Staff was not friendly and didn’t listen to my concerns. I purchased 2 rooms for two nights and right after doing so my family and i went into the lobby to put our things away. Immediately after we entered a young girl tried to question us about if we all were sleeping in the same room. I had to get her straight and checked real quick.
Then when we got to the rooms there were not enough towels for the people i reserved rooms for. The hotel is ols and had an odor. It had a no smoking sign up but reaked of week.
Will NEVER stay there again!!

It is an older building that the owners are trying to upgrade and finish cleaning up. The grounds were picked up and clean. I never heard any noise from any other guests during my stay. It is a basic hotel with clean rooms. I see it as a 2 star hotel. Housekeeping did stop by everyday. I did notice a security guard walking the parking lot in the evenings at the odd time. Over all this was what i needed a lower cost hotel that was safe with few extras and a clean comfortable room.

They seriously need to change out the electrical sockets and outlets in the rooms because they are so loose they cannot even keep anything plugged in.

When we arrived with a reservation we were early and told to come back at a later time and this was done three times. The last time, the owner said the room was not cleaned and if we wanted to cancel he would look after canceling at his end and I needed to call Expedia to get my refund. I did this and he lied and would not give us our refund. The owner is a liar and very dishonest. Expedia should cancel owners like this as it make their customers wonder about them! Bob Clement

This was our second stay at this place. The big problem is cockroaches both times in our room. We will not be back.

Room was very clean. Room had a lot of space. Room had two chairs.
TV did not have the Station/Channel that the Detroit Tigers was on.
Outlets were too loose in the room. Only outlet that would hold my Cell Phone Charger Plug was in the bathroom.
There wasn't any Kleenix in our room.
Check-in and Check-out Clerk was very friendly and Professional.

Our room had recently been updated. New flooring (ceramic in bathroom) and hard floor covering in the rest of room. Bathroom was also updated with new toilet, sink/vanity, tub and wrap around. Mattress was very comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located right next to I-94 with easy on/off to your destination.

There is so much dirt and dust that the filter of the ice machine cannot filter it out and there is dirt dust and possible rice crap in the ice. It was absolutely horrible.

My vehicle was broken into twice in the same night. Over $6,000 of belongings were stolen and several thousands in damages to my truck.

For the rate i pay? I could have gotten a room much better than what i recd. The room smells, very dusty, furniture does not match. A/C is noisy. It’s appears to be a storage room turned into a bedroom. Terrible!

Upon arrival everything seemed good and then walking to my room all I could smell was marijuana in the hallway After being in my room for about a half hour I noticed the dirtiness under the tables the dust on the pictures and lamps and no blankets!

Check in was easy, there was someone always near the front desk. Room was mostly clean, shower could have been cleaned a little better. Whole hotel had a smell to it that want necessarily pleasant or bad just there so if you can get past that you’ll be fine.

The staff was wonderful. As far as we could tell, everything was clean. The tiled part of the floor seemed new. But other things in the room just weren't comfortable. Bed seemed old, one chair was a very cheap office chair, the other was a folding chair. My husband and I each like 2 pillows, there were 3 on the bed. The rack for our hanging coats and clothes was mostly above the desk, the view out our window was a cement wall. There was no kleenex available. I went for the cheapest property, but figured it would be nice enough, being a Wyndham property. When I booked the room, it said this particular room had a 4.8 rating. It ended up being a handicap room, with grab bars and a high rise toilet. It was on the first floor, but we had 3-4 steps from the outer door.

The staff was very helpful and nice! The rooms were decent except the bathroom sink had a loosed faucet our TV wasn't working right, I had to call front desk a couple of times to come help us with the TV. And that's where they were very helpful and nice! And it seem the door was hard to get in with the key. I took a few times before it worked. And to get into the hotel parking lot or to the hotel itself you had to cut in front of a car wash you had to use their driveway to get in. I do want to say it was very quiet at night had a good sleep, and that rooms are very reasonable prices.

I was hoping a customer support agent could get ahold me I need to make sure my rebuirsment will come through from red roof last night they said a manager would contact me but nobody was there the other hotel we used from hotels.com was great I need a refund from red roof they did not let us check in

The pictures on Expedia are very deceiving. It is old and needs many up grades. The carpet got the bottom of my socks black. The floor is so uneven the bathroom door would get stuck on floor. I had stained sheets. The curtins had something spilt on them.They have a policy that you have to pay them a cash deposit at check in, that they will refund after they check your room at check out ..didnt give me anything saying i paid it, so this made me feel like i may not get it back. I wouldnt stay there again. It was easy on and off I94 but the only good point.

The rooms are obviously old. The furniture definitely needs updating along with the cabinets in the rooms kitchenette area. The shower took long to heat up but was great once it did. The bed was extremely comfortable 10/10. Our tv remote wouldn’t work so we could only watch one channel. Since we slept the majority of the evening we didn’t complain. Overall the stay was ok. If I had to stay again I would, it just wouldn’t be my first choice. Need better shower amenities also. I was glad I brought my own lotion/shampoo and body wash.
