It was a very nice stay, all places are very clean and staff kindness was quite noticeable. The building is somewhat old, but it has a kind location. Our room was very confortable, cozy, bathroom very clean and confortable. Breakfast was superb! The only negative aspect I would like to report, as the management can take appropriate actions, is the Room Service. Despite deliver was very fast and kind, the food quality fell quite short of our expectations. The Mignon Beirute was made with a half syrian bread and, instead of a real mignon file stake, it came with scattered fragments of stake. The Cesar Salad was another big failure. A single kind of letuce leaves came, not with chicken slices, but with fragments of meat, supposedly of chicken, and mayonese sauce instead of Cesar Sauce accompanied with sparse fragments of parmesan cheese. These is a detail, "Room Service", the management should pay a close attention. It will be rewarding for the Faial Hotel image and prestige!

A lovely welcome upon arrival with the offer of an upgraded room! The staff were so helpful and kind to my partner and me. The room decor was a little dated but comfortable and spacious and the location, while it isn’t the most salubrious, is very central and close to everything. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay! Great quality food and service! Thank you!

My family and I love the fact that the Public Market place was walkable. The breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of variety. However, what makes this place are the staff. They are friendly and they try their very best to assist you specially with the language barrier. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay. Please note: we were upgraded with our room. However we did pay an additional $R per night for the upgrade.

Close to the public market and all of the downtown stores are there. Anything you could want is within walking distance. Also close to the north south routes to wherever you want to go on the island. I was worried about the parking but the staff parked my rental car in a parkade across the street and retrieved it whenever I needed it. Free breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again.

I was surprised after checking in to learn that the gym is off site and wasn't actually available for most of my stay. The hotel was nice and otherwise met my needs (though we did notice that there was no extra lock inside the door, which is common in the US but maybe not in Brazil). But I would have booked at another hotel if I had known that the gym wasn't real.

Amazing staff!!! 5 star service. But the property needs some updates, like check any type of infiltration and some stains at the elevator door and on the floor at the 11th floor in the hall. But overall great experience!!!!

O elevador travou quando cheguei. Quarto espaçoso, com cama confortável. Banheiro antigo, precisando de reforma. O isolamento acústico entre os quartos deixa a desejar. Na chegada fui informado que teria um up grade de apartamento. O apartamento que fiquei tinha forro de parede descolando, pia entupida, maçaneta da porta caindo e o ar condicionado que não funcionava. A maçaneta da porta e pia entupida foi resolvida na primeira reclamação feita, mas o ar condicionado durante toda a estadia não foi resolvido. A equipe é bem treinada, sempre solicita, mas aparentemente o hotel precisa de um processo de manutenção, pois não entrega o que promete.
