Beautiful property with great resort amenities Food sadly is below average. Service in some sections of the property was great. Room was clean, balconies have no lights so outside seating in the evening from room is very limited. Pools and resort activities are well planned and excellent.

My wife and I spent a few nights at this location. Right after leaving, we stopped for gas and noticed that the valet parking service had put large gashes in one of the tire rims. I contacted the hotel management and they took down my information. I later informed them that the dealership said the rim could not be buffed out but had to be replaced. The car is a very expensive car with expensive rims. Hotel management said they turned it over to the loss prevention department and that they would be reaching out to me. It has been a couple months and I still have not heard from them. I have also reached out to hotel management again with no response. We have noticed that this Ritz-Carlton mimics a service mindset with very little follow through. For the three nights we stayed there, our bedding was never made up once, as well as other service issues. This was definitely not our typical experience at a Ritz-Carlton.

This is a wonderful resort. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The setting, views and facilities are all beautiful. Our room was beautiful and luxurious (all rooms in the resort have been recently renovated so ignore reviews about dated rooms). The food is ridiculously good - every restaurant, but especially Linger Longer. I like to travel with my dog and this resort is very pet-friendly. Plenty of areas you can walk or just relax with your dog. And you can request a ground floor room which opens directly to a grassy area for potty time. We had room with a balcony, but still found it very easy to walk through the hotel to get to the outside. The hotel deserves the 5 star rating - first class all the way. Can’t wait to go back. One travel tip: reserve restaurant times for dinner and massages at the spa well in advance of your stay because they fill up. Even without a massage, I still thoroughly enjoyed the spa amenities (jacuzzi with fireplace was my favorite and I took a glass of wine with me for ultimate relaxation :))
