This is a great location to stay for Downtown Memphis being at the top end of Main Street - near enough for easy walking to most attractions but far enough away from the noise of Beale Street. The facilities at the hotel are good. We stayed in a king suite (bed is superking to Brits). Very comfortable. Huge tv mounted on wall which could be angled to watch when on the sofa or in bed. Small kitchen area with microwave & fridge was handy. Very clean rooms which were cleaned daily. Super friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that let this hotel down was breakfast - there was a reasonable choice (would have liked more hot choices) from a self serve buffet. The main let down for me was the plastic cutlery, cups & plates. Obviously done to save on staffing/cleaning, but did not make for a good dining experience and definitely not recylced - everyone put food waste & the plastic into one bin. This did not however spoil out stay and we would definitely stay there again. Hotel also feels very safe. We did not have time to use the pool or hot tub but it was small and looked very clean.

Great hotel opposite nice park with many squirrels. Excellent breakfast. They found us a great room even though we were early. Very comfortable. Stick to walking on the main roads for safety.

Is a nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable and big. YOU HAVE TO BE ALERT WHEN GOING MEMPHIS. I got my car stolen in front of the hotel in the valet area as soon as we're taking the suitcases out of the car.

The welcome to the hotel was somebody jumping into our rental car and stealing it in front of the entrance door on the covered area. Fortunately we had just retrieved all the luggage into a cart, but in the escape, the two juveniles that took out car, hit the luggage cart and ran over a bag and scattered the rest of the luggage. With a beginning like that, you can imagine how the rest went, The staff were outstanding and the service was great, but the location doesn't seem to be very safe. We ended up leaving a day earlier. The hotel was in bad condition.

I enjoyed my stay but I had a very unpleasant run in with one of the front staff employees. It was a young African American lady and she was working overnight Friday night/Saturday morning, September 13-14. She was very rude to-my husband and I. We stayed in room 214 and could not get our room key to work. She was on her phone and seemed annoyed in helping us. She had to come to our room to assist us and again she was very short and nasty with her answers. She did help resolve our problem though. Other than that run in my stay was great😊

Hotel is in a great location to get to Beale Street, the river front and quite a few good restaurants. A lot of empty store fronts in the area and the Trolly isn't running.

It was an ok stay, a lot of homeless people which made the stay a little sad, they lived on the streets by the hotel. Many little creatures ran outside the hotel, and the pool was dirt, but they cleaned it up after we made mention. The staff was great and tried to accommodate as much as they could, and I want to mention what we saw outside while at the pool. :0

Room was in the older historic building, very spacious, super comfy. Only complaint was the bathroom was not clean when we arrived. The staff remedied the situation immediately. Tony went above and beyond staying late to clean to my liking. Hotel was in a great location, pool small but nice, good breakfast.

Really nasty pool area, we tried to tell the frontdesk, that there where a dead rat at the pool. But the didnt really take the problem serious, sometime the next day, they Vorherre to Remee it.

The staff were excellent! There was a good variety for breakfast. Our room was a good size. You really need to be situationally aware in the area. There are a lot of car break ins. On arrival there was a single person walking the valet area looking in each window. Later I saw a the same person with a group going car to car looking inside and pulling car door handles. There was someone in the group wearing a safety vest. He seemed to be acting like he worked at the hotel. This group of people walked through multiple times, looking for opportunity. The hotel spans two different buildings that are connected. It was a bit inconvenient for us. We didn't want to leave anything in the car. If your room is in the other building, you'll have to go through one elevator to get to the connecting hallway. Then to the next buildings' elevator to connect to your room. The pool and hot tub are fenced in on the ground level facing an alley. I found it hard to enjoy that area since that is where I saw people trying to get into cars.

The location was nice. We were only given the option to valet park, which was fine following some reviews I had read in the area and overnight our vehicle was parked right outside the main lobby doors, so not a secured parking garage as we thought it would be. We asked for extra pillows (we utilized the trundle bed) and they had none. We also asked for an extra trash bag and were told we’d need to wait until the morning. The room was ok- the air seemed to be not working properly, it was small compared to what we expected and was kind of dark (we stayed on the balcony side). It wasn’t awful, but wouldn’t be the first place I’d run to book.

A lot of room for the money. We stayed in the room with 2 queens and a sofa bed and were happy for the extra space for a great price. The room was clean but a bit worn. Shower was good. Comfortable bed and quiet location. The shuttle stop right outside saved us money on Uber rides. Staff were helpful and pleasant enough. (Mandatory) Valet parking was quick and convenient. Would stay here again.

The pool was cloudy and had dark things on the bottom of it. I had purposely booked this hotel for the pool. It didn’t feel comfortable using it. Room service was not daily- this was not clear upon booking. I requested towels on a day that the housekeeping was done and was told that they were short staffed and that I would have to go downstairs to get the towels. Then also told that housekeeping was not daily but every other day due to Covid protocols. However the next day when my travel partner called she was told that the housekeeping wasn’t done daily because there was a service animal- we didn’t have a service animal with us. They never mentioned Covid protocols when they spoke with my travel partner. I was deeply disappointed by this stay. The conflicting stories about housekeeping were unnecessary and offending.

Great location. It's right on the trolley route so you can easily hop on and get blocks away from Beale Street, the National Civil Rights Museum, and lots of dining options. Rooms were clean, staff was great. I would definitely stay here again. Add $30 per night for valet parking. It is not mandatory but very convenient. Overall great stay in Memphis!
