Small but well furnished rooms with coffee machine, armchair and a good bathroom with amenities. Very pleasant fron desk staff (although the kitchen was less friendly) and they were very accomodating with early check in and leaving luggage. Optimally situated in the centre of Lucerne, 2 minutes walk from the lake! There is a bit of unavoidable traffic noise being right in the old town. All in all, a very good stay!

Smart, efficient concierge staff welcome you in this (basically spotless) updated boutique hotel near the city centre. It has a small bar, restaurant/breakfast room and stylish suites with good coffee makers.

Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, nice bed and shower. Airport shuttle service free for pick up but not for drop off. $5 per person. Restaurant was extremely overpriced, even for Switzerland. We walked out and went across the stress to the pizza place.

The location is convenient as it just takes few minutes walk to train station and close to supermarket. The room is a bit small ( originally I book a twin room but turn out there are 3 beds in the room…)

We stayed in the penthouse. It has older flooring but the rooms were great and bathrooms remolded! Comfy beds. I really enjoyed the older style. Very clean. Almost 360° view from the balcony around the flat. If you are a large family or two couples, it’s a great older space. Kitchen, living room and a dining table.

Very nice room. Big for the area. Showers were a bit fiddly since it was easy to splash outside the shower zone but it wasn't a huge deal once you learned to pull the folding door inward a little to allow for better drainage. Very clean rooms.

The hotel was good. I would recommend the hotel. It is right downtown, walkable from the train, near everything, and one block from the lake. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is the mattress was very hard and the shower was like a phone booth. Other than that it was great, including the staff.

Front desk was nice. The only problem is the bathroom sink clogged . Saw someone else had mentioned the sink clogged, looks like the hotel didn’t do anything about this. I stayed on the second floor.

Good location but no air conditioning, but at least the room was provided with a small fan and luckily the room actually stayed pretty cool. However, the power also went out and the man, probably a manager at the front forgot to bring us towels we requested. Small room, wasn't very comfortable here. Not much included.

Nice area very close to main train station. Very walkable. Shops nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. The evening wasn't too hot, so we were fine with just the fan that they provided.

The rooms are very nice and the staff is great. If you need to open the windows it is noisy. The bar a restaurant off the lobby are heaviky used by smokers so we never tried them.

Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast with lots of delicious choices. Rooms are very clean. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and provided us with a great nights sleep. Short walk to the train station, ferry station and major sites. Lots of restaurant choices and shopping close by. We would absolutely love to stay there again

Perfect location from which to enjoy everything that Lucerne has to offer. Although there is no AC, the hotel is very comfortable and up-to-date. The breakfast is excellent!

Typical old era downtown European hotel with small but very clean rooms. Outside presented itself less attractively that’s depicted on Expedia. I had an issue with a lost charging cord ( unusual application ) and the hotel never got back to me. Breakfast plentiful and good selection Perfect for a couple of nights…..but not longer.

The hotel and the room was fine. I had a single room and it was big enough. The bed was clean and comfortable. The down side is there is no AC so even with the windows open it is hot. The windows have metal shutters and if you close them before you go out it helps. There is a bit of road noise in the morning and restaurant noise at night. Most of the staff are great…there are a couple of grumpy ones. But we are all human. The hotel is within walking distance of all the attractions. The breakfast buffet is goods d and the coffee excellent

We couldn’t get our tv to work. Asked at the desk and there was nothing she could do until the next day. We were only staying one night. She called and offered us breakfast for our inconvenience. The location was great. Clean rooms. Friendly people

The hotel was nice and clean, with friendly staff. FYI - there is no A/C. Only one window in the room opens, and it only opens a little, so the room can get stuffy when it's hot out. They do provide a fan in the room.

Had a great night at the Hotel Luzernerhof. Location can’t be beat. Room was a single so small, as expected, and updated and clean. The hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside, but for the purposes of having a conveniently located home base, I would highly recommend.

We expected a more delicate attention. The room was never cleaned. Soap was excessively scarce. Several of our basic requests (such as fixing the TV) were not met. Very unfortunate. We expected more and better service.

The room was clean but only con was that there was no AC so it can be rather hot and stuffy inside during Summer. The staff who was in charge of my check in process was rather rude and unfriendly which gives off a bad impression from the start.

May be its common here but not even a bottle of water or a fridge. One paper cup only for coffee when at leastvtwonpeople checked in. Other than that, liked location and walkability. Still a lot for almost 200 dollars (with coty taxes etc) is pricey .
