Beautiful and clean. A lot of the building smells like cigarette smoke, which is a bummer
5.0
Very nice place, clean and confortable.
4.0
The room was run down and very noisy. The baseboards in the doorway to the bathroom were completely rotted off.
4.0
I stayed overnight at the Motel 6 for business and it was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. And a real bonus was being in walking distance of the Duluth Grill! I enjoyed my stay.
5.0
Clean, updated and comfortable. Perfect for one night stays, great for pets as there is no carpet and the price is perfect with all the other hotels so expensive now.
3.0
Hallways are dark and dingy. Room was okay. Very basic. The reviews overstated this but it was okay for a cheap night’s stay.
5.0
It was a very nice room, enjoyed our stay

It was Good For a Motel 6. Rooms are updated nicely. Only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t supply Conditioner. I forgot to bring my own and they didn’t have it.
3.0
Rooms recently refurbed. Strong smell of pot in the hallway, came through the door into our room. There were a lot of notices about safety, locking your vehicles, your room door etc. Door to room didnt latch unless we pushed it closed. Doors to hallways were locked. Security cameras everywhere. As a woman who frequently
travels alone, unless I have my hubby or my large dog with me, I probably wouldn't stay at this location again.

When we arrive apparently the worker was to involved in her phone to look up and greet us or check us in . After a few minutes, she stated “just a minute “ and continued on phone. The room overall was decent, but the bed was horrible. Very uncomfortable. My husband & I woke up very sore and stiff. Staff in the morning were more approachable & welcoming.

everything was very clean and comfortable.

good stay one night.

It s melt like smoke. I thought every indoor place was supposed to be no smoking.
5.0
I was impressed with this Motel 6. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. Their management also seems to maintain the building with professionalism. Things are taken care of quickly and efficiently, and I see their staff cleaning even the exteriors of the buildings in a systemic way. Location is not glamorous, but close and convenient to everything in the area. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Our room was clean, and had plenty of room. The bed was older, but we slept well. The hotel was in a convenient location and close to some good restaurants. It was an affordable price, especially compared to all the other hotels that were charging double rates during the university’s family weekend.

My husband and I stayed for a quick night on a roadtrip. We were only there for about 6 hrs, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. It was fine, but not great. Compared to a super 8 motel we stayed in recently, this motel 6 was a major downgrade from that similar hotel group. This one was very old, very dingy, and smelled or cigarettes. The bed was comfortable enough, but the wall were paper thin, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. You could hear the persons phone vibrate in the room next to us. That's how thin the walls are. It was fine for a quick stay, but we will probably stick with Super 8 next time for a step up in quality and free breakfast for almost the same price.

Could not get into the building at any of the outside doors using my room key. Many of the tenants had their doors open. People outside the building were homeless people. Very sketchy area. Being it was us 2 women we didn’t feel safe staying there. So I asked for a refund and we found somewhere safe to stay.

Out room was very run down. The sink had many cracks in it, the bathtub drain didn't work (couldn't get the water to stay in), bathtub had a large plastic waterproof patch on the side of it, and the over cleanliness wasn't what I was expecting.
2.0
Just okay. Nothing to justify the over $100/night price
4.0
Microwave in the room, but would have preferred a coffee maker. Bed springs a little squeaky.
5.0
Good hotel. Parking is weird. Great a/c! Pricy but Duluth is crazy busy on beautiful fall weekends so it makes sense.

Super easy check in and staff was great.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The stairs and hall were dirty and gross? The shower curtain rod was hardly attached to the wall and would not hold the curtain up. The room was dirty and gross. The bed you could feel every spring. The employee at the desk was very rude to the customers before us as well as us. We paid $217.00 for one night which was ridiculous. Breakfast not included. We will not stay here again.

Definitely not worth the $200+ we paid. Bathroom door did not close, ( because of water damage) the bathtub drain was clogged, so when taking a shower, you were standing in a foot of water. A huge gap on the bottom of the entry door. And dead spiders and bugs in the bathroom. On the positive side, the beds seemed clean, you don’t need a night light ( plenty of light from the gap in the entry door) and the bugs were already DEAD 😅👍

Guests in the other rooms were too loud with their dogs late at night.

I didn’t find the staff at the desk very friendly when I checked in, but this morning the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful ( opened the door for me when I had 2 coffee in my hands and he was cheerful )
I was surprised by the room- it looked like what I saw online, not a picture from 20 years ago!
It was it was clean ans spacious:)

Booked two rooms. 5 guests. The front desk clerk was rude and unprofessional. The bedding was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Called the front desk and got another room and the second room wasn’t much better. No blow dryers available and no coffee machine in the room. Hallways covered in leaves and debris. Parking lot has huge pit holes. Wouldn’t stay again. Disappointed with the entire stay from check in on.

I checked in and the person who was working the front desk was one of the rudest person I’ve ever met, pulled into the parking lot first and there were multiple cars on blocks with no tires did not feel safe. I checked in, took one look at my room and left the property went to stay at a different motel and they would not refund my money never again

For 212$ a night, this IS NOT WORTH IT. We came on a friday, stayed till Sunday the whole hotel smells, the mattress were awful an under the matress there was a ton of hair an dirt, floors were uneven. I cant explain it. There is not anything near the motel for fun the main area of downtown is 8 mns drive about. We did encounter some homless people who hang out for free WI FI BUT they didnt bother us one bit. WHAT IS BOTHERSOME is the prices! Over 400$ for 2 days no breakfast no pool notta. Staff great an friendly, I just dont understand how this price is acceptable? To be fair to stay anywhere else in duluth was going to be about 600 to 800 for 2 which is outrageous. If the prices were resonable Id not had made this post. I also wouldn't bring my family here we just had a girls weekend an would stay again for better pricing.

1st of all, it was $180/night. But we were in town for a family wedding so I had no choice. 2nd, the front desk clerk was RUDE. She was chomping on food, didn’t even look at me, and literally all she said to me was ‘ID. Your room is &@$. What’s your lisence plate number?’ Like, hello to you too! Sheesh! 3rd, the floors in the room made our feet black. 4th, the toilet wouldn’t flush in the middle of the night. The ONLY good thing I can say is I didn’t see bed bugs. Which was actually pretty surprising. Gross place. I’ll sleep on the street next time we’re in town before I go there again.

The hallway had an odor . The check in person not friendly or welcoming . Room was not clean. We spilt some water on the floor and when we cleaned up our spill the paper towel was filthy . There was no coffee pot or Kleenex. Overall a bad e periance , will never choose a motel 6 again. The room was not comfortable. The shower stall was dirty

Easy access, clean
3.0
It was overall not the best. Very uncomfortable beds
6.0
The room was pleasant and with a comfortable bed. Appeared clean. No blow dryer. No breakfast. Coffee only, not hot water or teas.
Absolutely way too overpriced.
4.0
Overnight stay on road trip, rates were nearly doubled as it was a weekend. Definitely not worth the high weekend rate.
10.0
The motel has had some fairly extensive updating, and it is very clean. Bring your own hairdryer though.
6.0
Room was decent and clean. Attendant at the front desk was very rude and appears she just doesn’t care about her job. Keys stopped working, had to get reprogrammed. Key access at the door by our room did not work so had to walk around the hotel to get back in. Called down for extra pillows and was told “yea we don’t have those here”.
8.0
Our room looked like it was recently updated, clean, modern, comfortable. But the wash cloths given were paper thin. The stairwells were dirty. Only one ice machine in lobby area, very inconvenient. But for the price and only one night, I would stay again.
6.0
Economical.
8.0
Eleasy access to highway. Old bulding.
