Very loud, smelly, appliances didn’t work. Stayed one night and moved to a different hotel. When we told people where we stayed they laughed and said it’s the talk of the town alright but not in a good way. Facts

We really did want to like this property, but staying at Talk of the Town was a truly a horrible experience. The property itself was run down and eerily empty our entire stay (which we soon discovered why). The beach across the street was alright, but definitely small and not exactly somewhere to spend more than a hour or two. Our original room faced the main street where there was loud noise, blasting music, and cars revving their engines all night long. The last straw was that the next day we discovered MOLD in the room right near our beds, which the front desk receptionist then proceeded to tell us was a common occurrence in many of the rooms because of the humidity. The only thing I can compliment the property on was that they "upgraded" us to another room for the last night after we refused to stay in the original one, but beyond that there was no attempt to remedy our experience at all. Truly a horrible property all around from location to management to service. Would never recommend anyone to stay here when traveling in Aruba.

The customer service was great. I didn’t like the experience of asking for late check out by a hour and was told it would be a $50 charge, but was sitting waiting on my taxi to the airport and another guest arrived over a hour before check in time and was allowed to check in without additional fees plus his room was upgraded just because he’s a repeat visitor. I was planning to return here in a few months with my family and friends, but I’ll explore other options.

I really liked the staff super friendly and attentive! Food was good. Good price. Overall very nice. The only thing is getting around to the beaches was difficult. No buses stopped at hotel, you have to walk 25-30 minutes to bus terminal. Or take taxis very expensive. I liked that it had 2 bedroom options

Safe. Super convenient. Nice breakfast area. Refreshing pool. Great beach across the street - lovely walking paths along the coast to follow into town. Needed an accommodation for one night traveling solo before joining rest of group at a villa rental. This was perfect. Not expensive and very comfortable. Room on first floor interior, walk out to pool! Plus microwave and mini fridge which I didn’t expect was great for a quick trip to Superfoods.

The food, pool, and staff were amazing! It is super convenient to the airport, and the beach is located across the street. The front desk staff is very helpful in explaining how to get the beach chairs across the street. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the umbrellas were not included and were an extra charge. That was disappointing. Overall, it is an adorable little boutique hotel to stay in.

This was the same place I stayed in two years ago with another one of my friend. Highly recommended. Beach is across the street, with beach bar and food, great music, calm water, Aruba sign across front of the hotel. One this it didn't go well, I was taking pictures by the pool area and I forgot my charger for two minutes. IT DISAPPEARED. staff gave me a very hard time and told me I had to wait for a manager to arrive the following day. They never checked the camera, no manager ever reached out to me regarding the situation.

Really enjoyable stay right from the start- staff was great - room comfy- bed a little too soft/ broken in but hey. Food at bar good - sandwiches/ wings- bar food. Conveniently located 5 minutes from airport and car rental. Convenience store inside for odds and ends. Bars and beach restaurants across the street. Will stay again on next trip and mix it up with a night or 2 at Palm Beach.

We checked in a day late since our flights were delayed, after one night they made us move rooms. We had to wait two hours to find out the rooms they wanted us to move to weren’t ready and they did not offer anything for the inconvenience.

Went for my 60th birthday and must say from front desk Liz to everything about the resort was amazing. Love the reflection bar restaurant across the street by the beach with happy hour. Will recommend staying here.
