Joe and Freddie are the best hosts!! Love this place, my second time here. Can’t ask for a better place to stay! Beds comfortable, breakfast great, hot tub, plenty of lounging or social areas, and all walkable to the quarter and Frenchman st. Felt safe walking in the neighborhood to get to the quarter. Oh! And free parking!!! My go to place to stay while in Nola, feels like my second home

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this awesome Inn.. the room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated.. the owners Joe and Fredrico are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice every morning. The neighborhood was great for an easy walk to Frenchmen St. Was many dinning options.

Host were great. Sidewalks were broken and uneven. Hard for my husband to walk around.

Cozy little B&B in quaint old house, walking distance to Frenchman Street and the Healing Center (I was there for a poetry festival). The owners were friendly but not "in your face," and they were able to accommodate me when I had to teach a Zoom class outside my room (the wifi was a little spotty in certain places). I would stay again!
The less expensive rooms are close to the entrance and dining area, so if you're a light sleeper, I'd spring for the more expensive ones. Fortunately people were pretty quiet during our stay, but you might not always be that lucky!

This is a very charming house and the hosts are super nice and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful each day. We parked right outside the house on the street which was convenient. The courtyard is very private and we enjoyed the hot tub each night. I'm so glad we didn't stay in a downtown hotel. If we ever come back to New Orleans, we will stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay. Great communication and available. Highly recommend this lovely spot.

Walkable to so much we wanted to do. Always had easy parking out front. Quiet residential area and the hosts were friendly and personable. The Marigny is a great neighborhood and you can easily walk to Frenchman Street, the French Quarter, and many other things. We easily found restaurants, coffee shops, and bars.

The area was very walkable-- close to Frenchman street and great food-- while also being quiet at night. The hosts are delightful and go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The Burgundy Bed & Breakfast was lovely! Breakfast was great and made to order. We were able to walk down to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street and see all the houses along the way. It rained while we were there and they had umbrellas for us to borrow. They also had a hot tub that we used both nights. Would highly recommend.

We had the perfect stay at The Burgundy this week. Our room was so large and very comfy, with a ceiling fan, AC, bottled water and plenty of towels. We had a lovely breakfast prepared each morning by Federico (how does he make such creamy scrambled eggs?). There were plenty of spots in the house to chill after a ling day of walking, and having a hot tub was so wonderful for sore feet and legs. The location of The Burgundy was great- walkable to tons of great Marigny bars and restaurants. If you stay, check out the burgers at Maries just up the block. We can't wait to come back!

This was my husband and I's fifth trip to Nola and I think, the best. This b&b was the perfect home base for us to drive all over the city. Joe & Federico are the warmest hosts! Joe greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew about the coffee shop and market within walking distance - both amazing. He had recommendations for us and we made sure we made it to the Emporium, a bar filled with vintage arcade games. We are pretty easy going guests and don't demand a lot, so this place was just our speed. We met some other great tourists at the breakfast table as well.

Stayed for a couple of nights in October and found the venue excellent and the hosts were very accommodating and polite.
Easy walk to the local music scenes and shopping. No problem parking in the street for the few days we were there.
Only reason I did not score excellent overall was could do with some additional sockets in the bedroom for phone charging and our own portable kettle we take with us.

Loved the breakfast - it was delicious and varied - thanks, Frederico.
Not crazy that the B&B is a hike to the French Quarter.
Also, bedroom is very basic.

The place was great, very quiet, very clean and the owners were kind and courteous. Our room was big and very clean. Close to action but far enough away to be quiet also. My wife and I walked from the B&B to Music Street, French Market, French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Distillery, etc. Highly recommend this place.

This was a great find in the Marigny neighborhood- walkable to Frenchmen Street and many restaurants and bars. Joe & Federico were great hosts with Federico cooked us tasty breakfasts and they were so generous to lend us chairs for Jazz Fest. Our room was in the back opening up to back porch with cute courtyard and hot tub. We highly recommend and would book again!!

A beautiful, well-kept, very homey place. An elaborate breakfast set-up with great coffee. The proprietors go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Information is provided about the area and things to do. Loved it! We would definitely stay there again.

It’s a little bit of a walk to the French Quarter but hosts Joe and Federico made the stay so pleasant. We had a great time and would definitely stay with them again.

Merry xmas and a happy new year!
Had a great stay at the Burgundy B&B 2-3 weeks ago.
Very friendly atmosphere.
Federico made excellent scramble eggs in the morning and Joe was very helpful with any advice you wanted.
Also interesting meetings with people from different parts of the US.
Can highly recommend!

The owners were very friendly and helpful recommending local points of interest (tours, restaurants, museums, etc). Breakfast included fresh biscuits and eggs to order, along with fresh fruit and the usual continental breakfast fare. I had a really great stay and highly recommend this charming little B&B.

Lovely late 1800’s B & B, with a nice courtyard with hot tub. I enjoyed the front porch swing, very relaxing on a breezy day! Our host Joe was kind and very helpful with things to do, where to go, and how best to get there. Freddie made the place feel like home, he had beautiful plants around, he made limited breakfast (due to c/o of smell of meat cooking) but he made up for it with fresh fruit, eggs ,jams and different breads. He even surprised me the last day with chorizo and potatoes! These guys are the best! I will be back!!

This was an excellent property to stay on. It was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Stayed for three days with my 23 year old daughter in the blue room. Really enjoyed our room and our stay. Joe will contact you a few days before your stay to find out what time you will be there. Check in was super easy. Federico was very friendly and made delicious eggs. Joe was great too. The courtyard was really nice although it was way too hot outside to use the hot tub. The front porch was also a nice place to relax. Parking was free and right on the street out front. We loved the fact that there was a neighborhood bar just three doors down with cheap drinks and a friendly bartender. It was a great place to start and later end our evening. It was a 15 minute walk to Frenchmen Street where we saw some amazing jazz bands. We definitely hope to return to the Burgundy Bed and Breakfast.

Got married in Pirates Alley in Jackson Square. This B and B was PERFECT. Our hosts Joe and Frederico were great-breakfast was on point, quiet and vibrant neighborhood. Honestly felt like we had the place to ourselves! I would 100% stay at the burgundy again. Excellent for intimate getaways for couples.

Having stayed in many b&b’s for our annual trips to Jazz Fest, we enjoyed none more than the wonderful Burgundy. Our room was comfortable and charming. Federico prepared an ample and delicious breakfast every morning. And the house itself is gorgeous, nicely decorated and with an awesome front porch. It’s a short walk to the restaurants, bars and nightlife on Frenchman Street, but frankly we found it hard to get past Marie’s, the bar literally a one minute walk away. Was tempted not to post a review for fear of someone taking our spot for next year!

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was great. Accommodations was terrific. I would highly recommend this place.

We frequent N.O. since I (Tracy) used to live in Baton Rouge and have family there. We try to stay in different areas and we landed in Marigny this time. We were NOT disappointed! The friendliness and customer service was unmatched and the BnB was *spotless* Breakfast was great, as well! Comfortable beds and a great shower. (Blue Room.) IMO, excellent location and we got to try new eateries on Frenchman Street. We even got to see a few "Porches on Parade" since we were there at the very beginning of Mardi Gras. 10/10 would recommend and I can't speak enough about what gracious hosts Joe and Federico are. We would absolutely stay here again if they have availability. Tracy and Wayne Burgess -- 2/2/22, for 2 nights. (Lots of 2's there. :) )

I reluctantly booked this place because I had no choice. In town for work last-minute, and zero availability due to a major conference in town and Cowboys vs. Saints that night. I’m a corporate person - Marriott/Hilton gold/platinum all the way; standard amenities, booking, room access, points, etc. The less I have to think about small details wrt lodging, transport, etc., the more bandwidth I have to do my job better.
That’s why Burgundy is great - a good, but sturdy walk to downtown, 35 mins. Less than 5-10 walk to the Frenchmen’s street tourist area ,that flows easily into the Bourbon Street corridor. WiFi is great, bed and private bath totally adequate and overall excellent comfy situation, with plenty of privacy for a single traveler. Best of all, friendly and mindful staff/owner who’s a local and I will gladly stay here again for biz/pleasure and heartily recommend to biz travelers. Why not spend your corporate/work account dollars on a local business?

Lovely place, excellent location, gracious hosts. It's not in the main tourist section of New Orleans, which is a huge plus in my opinion. Pretty reasonable walking distance along pleasant streets to get to all the sites. Highly recommended.
