Very old hotel. Bad breakfast

I like everything about my stay. My and I truly enjoyed ourselves.

This was our second stay at this Hampton Inn. One suggestion I have is they need more outlets in the room. We had a hard time finding places to charge all our electronics and had to switch them out to charge. Also, our air conditioner stopped working at one point while we were sleeping for about 6 hours and then randomly turned on. It was a very warm night and we would have slept better had it worked.

It could use a new pillow and on time breakfast.

Everything was fine except tvs were not working.

There were a bunch of unsupervised children under 10 years of age running around the lobby, in the business room and just put trash everywhere and knocking on doors. Nobody at the service counter said anything. Pillows were way too soft. Area was picked because my 32 week old grandson was at the NICU at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Our son and daughter-in- law stayed with us because she had an emergency c section and couldnt climb stairs. We were only 10 minutes away from the hospital. The hotel did have an accessible wheelchair that she was able to use which was nice. It just sucked that kids were running up and down the hallway at night.

First of all…they had a terrible sewage problem which led to a flood in our hotel bathroom.l leading to the room. It was also leaking into the room beneath us. When we told the evening staff about the situation at the front desk, they were pretty rude. The tv also did not work but kindly the front desk am staff gladly gave us a partial refund for the inconvenience. For the rate of the rooms you would think it would be more modern and that they would have maintenance issues under control.

I asked the front desk for a plunger and they told me to wait until the morning. Or to come down to the first floor. My room was all the way on the 6th floor. How unconvient was that. Please work on better customer service

We read the reviews but decided to book anyways. Stayed for the weekend. We’ve stayed years ago I guess in its glory days. It’s sad to see the condition it’s in. At least our room was clean and had no smells, bathroom needed repairs. The halls smell musty and the overall appearance needs some serious maintenance. The outside pool was dirty the towels looked like they been chewed by wolfs. I won’t stay here again

Great food for breakfast

Rooms are musty, looks old, dusty. Breakfast was a waste of time, area was dirty, food wasn't replenished, moldy english muffins.

The breakfast options were better than most hotels we have stayed at. There were options for many diets and food intolerances. It was thoughtful and well executed.

The hotel and the staff were great but the rooms are desperate need of upgrades. Our bathroom door lock did not work, the bathtub retained water and sheets had spots on them.

This is a very comfortable, mid-level hotel that's perfect for a brief stay. The staff were kind and friendly, the room was not luxurious but it was clean, quiet, fresh, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. There's a small store with snacks and drinks. Breakfast in the morning had a wide array of options, coffee was decent. Other guests ranged from conference groups to young families, so it's a friendly atmosphere with no major red flags. If you arrive tired and hungry, you'll leave well-rested, bellies full.

High quality at reasonable price. Breakfast and parking included.

No dryer for laundry. Bed was lopsided.

Clean, quiet, safe

Stay wS great during our visit and staff was terrific...actually texted me thru out staff tk ck in and make sure we had everything we needed. Room was clean, breakfast was great and gym was a nice bonus. Will be staying here again for our next trip to NJ. great location from various interstates, many restaurant options. Would highly recommend! Only downside and this is my opinion...beds were comfortable however i wish the hotel would change double beds to atleast queen size. The room slept 4 ppl but double beds were small and queen beds would be better, hope the hotel will consider this for future. Otherwise, enjoyed the stay. Thanks to the staff for making it a great trip!
