Great staff. Efficient check in and check out. Room was fine but very basic with an old noisy fan. Overall a very nice place to stay in Haarlem.

Fantastic staff; let us check in early and helped with navigating parking and getting through the streets.
Incredibly cute hotel nestled in the city center. Great restaurants nearby.
Beautiful cathedral giving all glory to God. Lovely bells play throughout the day.

Like: area central, great free breakfast
Dislike: noisy music at night, no air conditioning

Very small room, bathroom in a wardrobe!
Entrance via restaurant where the elevator is.
Limited outlets in room.
Location of hotel in the middle of town directly on the main square, however a noisy tivoli distroyed the grand ess ot the square.

The hotel is old, and the bathroom is really outdated; when taking a shower, water leaks out. Besides that, it's quite comfortable and in a great location. The breakfast was very good.

Basic hotel: clean room, good beds but simple bathroom. Thin walls, so a bit noisy. Breakfast is top!

The only issue was the noise of the daily set up of the umbrella stands and the Saturday farmers market (at 4:30 - 6:30 AM!!!!!) after the noise from bars until 2:30 am.
Otherwise it was a great stay and the views from the windows of our room facing the plaza spectacular!

Not very well organized.

Basic rooms, but clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent service. Lovely town

Location was perfect- walking distance to everything. I had a small single room with a comfortable bed and pillow and a small but adequate toilet sink and shower. Breakfast was included- omelette, croissant, bread, butter and jam, cheese and cold meat, yogurts, cold cereal, tea and coffee- that’s a bargain because in the Netherlands that’s worth €20! Note there is a staircase up to the 1st floor, and an elevator for 2nd &3rd floors. If you arrive/leave when the restaurant is open the elevator goes all the way to street level. Great little hotel, great staff and I would stay there again.

We stayed for two nights and had a real great time. The room was clean and had both tea and Nescafé which is always appreciated. There was a big lounge area with a nice view over the main square for the guest to hang out in, great for us as it rained a lot during our stay. The location is perfect, right in the center and only about a 10-15min walk to the train station. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Really nice coffee!

This is a very mom and pop style hotel, so don’t expect any push touches. Rooms are located above the cafe. They’re smaller basic, but have all essential amenities (though no fridge unfortunately). Mike, who manages the property, was very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to correct a booking mistake I made - totally above and beyond. All of my staff interactions were lovely. There’s a positive energy to the place. The breakfast is small but very good. Whoever supplied their croissants and pastries - excellent. Otherwise standard continental fare: yogurt, cereal, eggs, cold cuts and breads. The breakfast music is very well chosen. Also, the cafe is really nice as a whole. The location is the real gem here. Located on the main church square, anything you’re looking for (including the train) is with a ten minute walk. There are countless restaurants, cafes and bars near by. By evening, things are usually pretty quiet unless there’s an event in the square. Remember to close your windows at night - seagulls get up at four, and they can get loud.

Great little hotel right in the middle of Haarlem. We were lucky enough to have a front bedroom overlooking the main square. Yes, it was noisy, but we didn't mind (earplugs provided in case we did!) and we loved watching the market being set up and the bustle of the annual food festival. The room was clean, the bed linen and towels immaculate and the little extras (tea, coffee, shampoo etc) all good quality and replenished when used. The fan in the room was welcome in the warm weather. Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection. Staff were friendly and obliging. Late arrival was easy with clear instructions sent by text, email and WhatsApp. Upon leaving we could leave our luggage after checkout until our evening flight. A lovely stay, thankyou. We can't wait to return to Haarlem and The Amadeus.

It might take you a few minutes to figure out where this place is because Amadeus doesnt appear on the building. I was worried because its right on the Grote Markt and I thought it would be super loud but even with the window open I heard no noise from outside or the corridor! And there was a fan in the room which was really nice.

We stayed here for four nights during the Tulip Festival. We were in a dormer room, so it was very small. The beds were small and they were placed right next to each other with the one bed up against the curved wall. They weren't the best beds, but were good enough.
The room looked right onto Grote Markt and the view was beautiful. It was also in a very convenient location.
A carnival with rides was set up right out on the square the day after our arrival, so we heard carnival sounds until after midnight (but it wasn't too bad).
The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly. The free breakfast was good, with lots of food choices.

This hotel is hard to find even when standing in front of it. There’s a single nondescript door with the name etched on it but you check on wither the waiter in the differently named restaurant. The room is very small with quite old or cheap fixtures espaecialy in the bathroom. Worst of all was the nearby nightclub that played music until very late. I would not stay here again.

The room was cozy and basic, but the view was amazing: looking out directly over the market and the Haarlem city hall, with both the Frans Hals Museum and the Grote Kerk right next door. Other than a bit of early morning street-cleaning noise, it was also a quiet location. It was a nice bonus to be able to make coffee in the room, and the included buffet breakfast was unspectacular but satisfiying.

Very glad I picked this place. Central and within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars in central Haarlem. I arrived early, and they did not bat a lash letting me check in early. I was extremely grateful for this, particularly on an afternoon arriving from an overnight flight. I had a little time to kill the next day, and they were fine storing my luggage for the couple of hours I had to roam around town. The restaurant downstairs is great, the service friendly, and Im happy I stayed. I definitely will again next time Im passing through.

The hotel is located right in the town center at the market. Down stairs is a very nice restaurant, the breakfast will be served there. The breakfast is ok but the breakfast staff is very nice and helpfull.

Clean and neat simply furnished room with small but fully functional bathroom, pleasant toiletries were supplied. The hot drinks tray was replenished daily. The buffet breakfast, included, served in the cafe downstairs was perfectly adequate. There is a lift, which we did not require. I understand that when the cafe is closed this is only available from the 1st floor which could be an issue if arriving out of hours with large bags. The rail station is a 10 minute easy walk. The Manager was friendly and helpful.

The stuff of the hotel is so rude. Simply cant expect such behaviour from hotel stuff where the stuff said I am annoying and irritating her, that too just just for asking to provide the exact room which was shown in the picture. There is hardly anything in breakfast other than oats and bread. At no point one should choose this hotel.
