The service was great, comfortable room. The only issue we had was the reason we booked the room was for the transportation to and from the airport. Neither from or to the airport was the transportation available we had to get an Uber.

House keeping was deficient. The workers when encountered on the floor were accomodating. Three call were placed to house keeping office before they responded. Unfortunately 2 roaches were seen, so i was concern about that, as i was afraid to take any home. Checking in was delayed by an hour and a half, when i asked to be compensated, i was offered an additional half hour. It was finally agreed to give me an hour after check out. Except for the previous mentioned hiccups, it would have recieved an excellent review from me.

This was our first time at this hotel and it was the WORST stay ever. The power went out in the room, maintenance had to be called to fix the problem, tv connection kept going out. The same trash was in the hallways the entire week. My vehicle was vandalized, no apology, no one was concerned. I asked for the manager Rebecca multiple times, I never heard from anyone regarding the situation. I spoke with another gentleman who stated his room smelled musty and he was given another room, he also stated that it was his family FIRST and LAST time at this location. This was the worst trip I have ever experienced. If I could’ve found another hotel last minute and had not prepaid I would’ve left. I will never patronize this location nor will I recommend it to anyone

My rental car got stolen out of the parking lot for the hotel. I found at after not receiving room service for 2 days that they do room service every other day. So they say but I would always have to call to remind them. Their empathy and willingness to help when I told them the car was stolen was horrible. Not a care in the world. The shower pipe kept leaking so when you are sleeping a continuous annoyance of dripping water.

Honestly the staff was amazing it was the property for me … the fitness room had no weights , breakfast was a hit or miss I kinda ate oatmeal every morning cause it was the better option in my opinion. Pool didn’t seem as clean . But it was close to most things if ur trying to Uber around …. The bathroom had a leaky drains in the tub that kept making noise… but the bed was decent so but again the staff was the highlight of the trip for me not the property but that’s a start having great staff … shout out to miss Angela the operation manager she went beyond again thank u for that

We have always had a good impression of Homewood Suites. The one in our city is in a nice area. It’s clean, well maintained and classy. We were in for a rude shock when we opened the door to our room. Room appeared shabby and worn. The mildew smell was overwhelming. Bed sheets looked worn and comforter was threadbare thin. Needless to say we spent a sleepless night there. Thankfully we only had to stay ONE night. Never again!

Walking distance to Dunkin’ Donuts, Wendy’s and convenience stores. Close drive to airport and cruise port. Clean. Nice complimentary breakfast. Convenience of a kitchen.

The handicap rooms shower leaked water al over the bathroom floor and when we said that there respond was it happens all the time which means nothing has never been done to correct the problem…This could be a hazard for slip and fall

We had an absolutely terrible stay here. The linens were dirty and had indications of bed bugs. We talked to reception and they refused to give us a refund, but gave us a different room. The other room was a bit cleaner, but still suspicious. The person working at the front desk admitted that there had been bed bugs in the last 6 months at that hotel.
It was midnight so we ended up staying the first night (of our 5-day stay), but we wouldn’t get anywhere close to the linens and slept on the kitchen table using our own belongings as pillows and blankets. It was a terrible and painful sleep. We left the next day and were still not given a refund.
The property itself was also in rough shape. The pool looked gross and the lobby was dirty and showed many signs of wear. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
I would also be extremely hesitant to book anything with Expedia again. Dealing with a third party makes getting a refund more challenging and both Expedia and the hotel are not accommodating.

Thank goodness I was only staying one night. Had I booked a longer stay I would have moved hotels. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay at the property. Upon opening the door, my party had an extremely negative first impression. The room looked as if it had not been cleaned, and the filth had been sitting for a considerable amount of time. To put it plainly it was absolutely disgusting. The couch in the living room area was covered in some unknown fluid. It honestly looked like dried vomit. We saw and killed cockroaches that were crawling on the floor. When everyone went to sleep that night, we each laid on beach towels we packed from home for our trip. We did not want to physically touch anything in that room. No one even showered because they did not want to go into the shower/use the towels. I cannot truly express how dirty this room was. I am highly dissatisfied with this property and Hilton’s customer service. I do not have one positive thing to say about my stay, it was a complete disaster.

The room hadn’t been cleaned very well. The surfaces were dirty from prior occupants. There was no shampoo and the body wash pump was broken. There was some food on the floor as well. It made me very suspicious of whether the towels or sheets were clean. Luckily, we only had to stay one night.

My parents with limited mobility and I arrived at the Fort Lauderdale airport early. We didn't get to the hotel until 2 hours later. 1 hour 25 minutes is what it took for the shuttle to pick us up and get us to the hotel. Late at night.

We chose the hotel based on the space we needed to accommodate a multigenerational travel party. Overall, it was average, at best. The carpet was threadbare and coming up at the seams, the toiletry supply bottles in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body soap) were empty (and it’s too late to call for more once you’re already in the shower), there were not enough towels for the number of guests staying in the room, the sheets for the pull out bed were not placed in the room and had to be requested from the front desk more than once, the air condition unit in the bedrooms were extremely loud when they kicked on, and the supplies were lacking in the kitchenette (simple things like paper towels, hand towels, or even a trash can). Additionally, the airport shuttle driver was distracted and reckless with poor driving skills and no patience or civility with other drivers in the road. He also cursed our loud and clearly showed his frustration when we did not provide a tip (we had loaded our own bags, the driving was poor, tips are not required, and frankly we just didn’t have any cash on us); it left a very poor taste in our mouth as we ended our vacation.
The breakfast was ok with a decent selection of options and the location is convenient to the airport and cruise terminal.

They have long-term parking on-site by a independent business. Stay and take shuttle to Fort Lauderdale Airport. Its about 7 minutes away.

Hotel is older in need of fresh update. Carpet throughout hotel smells very musty and is full of stains throughout the halls and even in our room. On our way to the room at 10:30 pm, we found a set of keys in the hall that had been dropped, we left them there. Got to room, realized it was missing the linens for the pull out sofa bed. When we went down to service desk to request them, were told they were indeed in there, under the TV stand. Went back up and checked again, still there were none. Called to service desk and they stated that we could come back down again and get them. My husband picked up the keys on way down and realized they were set of hotel's maid keys. Took them down to front desk, returned them. Front desk employee seemed very surprised, but also very thankful.
Bathtubs in both bathrooms did not have stoppers, so unable to take a baths. Only able to shower. Bathroom sink was clogged, taking about 10 minutes to slowly drain.
Breakfast buffet is not very good. Frozen, then reheated pancakes that are very rubbery, defrosted egg omelets folded over and cheap sausage. There were some bagels, cereal and oatmeal. The oatmeal was very watery and soupy. Overall, not very appetizing. Hotel could be much nicer if they would just freshen it up and improve the breakfast.

Arrived back from our cruise early and got to the hotel at 0900 and were able to store our luggage until we could check in. Asked if there was a restaurant nearby, and was told we could go ahead and eat their buffet even tho we hadn’t checked in yet. Then we were told we could use the swimming pool and restroom while we waited! We’re so tired out from the cruise and just hung out until we could check in, and we’re able to check in early at 1pm. The customer service was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Then we get to our room and was beautiful! So comfortable and roomy, which we appreciated since we were just going to rest up for the day! I highly recommend this place, especially for cruise travelers!

My family and I were the last ones to be checked in to our room. When we got to the room, the handle on the toilet was broken and the water was running as if it was flushing and the room had a damp smell. The sleeper couch was terrible. You could feel the springs in the couch when you laid on it. My kids were not able to sleep comfortably on it. The extra bedding supplied for the couch was dirty and stained. The fire alarm kept blaring over a period of 2 hours (or more) on and off. Had to step out of the hotel at one point along with other customers to find relief from the loud alarms going off. I was told they were doing maintenance on the alarm but they did not have the decency to inform anyone. I was sleeping during one of the alarm blaring episodes which scared the poop out of me. The internet service was terrible due to the internet being down. Very disappointed with how my stay went.

Found the hotel to be well kept and clean, it is older but looks like it is well maintained. Will return to it again. Front desk man was very pleasant.
