Very pleased with our stay here. Walking distant to the beach and they also provide a shuttle to a more private beach which was nice. Convenient to reach by taxi and very friendly staff.

The place looks great, the staff is superb, but I can't believe they let people sleep on such a mattress, that's just a bunch of springs poking at you all night. AC smelled pretty bad as well

The resort was inland but a regular shuttle takes you to a nice beach. A restaurant provides beer and food there at very reasonable prices. Free abundant beach chairs and shade is available. Several restaurants are a short walk away down a road heading towards the beach from the front of the hotel. Massage is available at a reasonable price at the hotel as well. Please note that island transportation is very expensive so you will likely stay at the resort. We arranged through them a full day snorkeling tour of 4 locations and that was a highlight. The have a nice buffet breakfast but it tends to get a bit boring after a few days. They have tiny pre-made omelets, sunny side eggs, ham and chicken hotdogs mainly for western items and varied Thai dishes as well as salad, bread, etc. The main changes are to the Thai breakfast dishes so my suggestion is to make changes to the western food items a well. A more varied fruit section would be nice too.

The hotel is set amongst beautiful tropical gardens, water features traditional thai sculptures with a back drop of the mountains. The accomodation was very clean and spacious with a fridge, safe, nice balcony with table and chairs overlooking the gardens. Its a little dated, but it didnt effect our stay. The staff are all very friendly and accomodatig. We found the mattress to be too hard and they quickly added a soft mattress topper which we didnt expect, so thank you! The pool is lovely, the warmest I have had any where. A bit dissappionted with the pool bar, looks univiting but did offer the restaurant menu. We travelled with a toddler and they provided a large size cot in the room. Its bot the most buggy friendly property with steps to the rooms and difficult pathways to pool area, but we managed. The restaurant food service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious. Breakfast was good, a mixture of cereal, pastries, fruits, yogurt, eggs and thai options. It would be nice if they had a coffee shop on site.

Staff at Hotel and restaurant all very friendly and helpful, they are great to my Children who class them all as friends. I have been going their for several years now and go several times each year and go even more now I have retired and will continue to do so. Room service very good and you can have food delivered to your room.

The Buffett breakfast has all the usual fare for westerners along with some Asian choices and is generally a good standard. The swimming pool is delightful and situated such that it gets shade which keeps the water cool and refreshing. There is a convenience store within about a 10 minute walk and a few small restaurants can be found close by. All in all I have no trouble in recommending this resort, we stayed 8 nights in a standard room that had everything we needed and I would definitely stay here again.

An OK resort with kind of a ”jungle”-feeling with big, well-maintained garden. Situated a bit off from everything and you need to take a taxi/motorbike to get to beaches or restaurants. During daytime they offer free rides to and from a really nice site on Klong Prao beach, which is really nice. The resort is kind of old and outdated, but it is clean and offer nice service like gym and a nice pool. The rooms are quite big. Staff is really nice and vett service-minded. Nice breakfast with many choices. Given the low price, you have to say that it’s good value for money, but don’t expect the newest and most luxurious resort, and be prepared that it’s a bit off the beaches.

The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the staff who served at the spa was rude and unfriendly. She was very impatient when responding to my enquires on the different type of spa treatment. When I said thank you before I left, she did not bother to say good bye or etc....

The stay was excellent from the start to the end. We spend 10 days and the staff was really going out of their way to make our visit excellent. My wife is a vegetarian with really difficult food choices but they really went out of their way to prepare everything the way she wanted to. She still tell all our friends of the good people especially a girl by the name of Lorryne who went out of her way daily. We had a great stay and plan to bring the who family next year. Loved it.

When we arrived, we were moved to the sister hotel Awa for two nights because of problems with the airconditioning in our room. This was a high end hotel, and compared to Ramayana a little less cozy, but still with great accomodation and service. When we later stayed at Ramayana we got what we expected, a warm and down to earth hotel with lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Really tranquil with a lot of nature and wildlife. It is a great family hotel, but also for couples - like us. I am coealic, and gave the hotel information about this, and on day three they had arranged it so I got gluten free bread for my breakfast. Very nice (a little bit up the road, you can find a bakery called Crust Bakery, and if you order one day in advance they will make gluten free bread for you!). We are thankful for all the friendliness and service we got at Ramayana, even though we did not get full five days at the hotel. If you are interested in nightlife and pubs, this is a bit far from all the action, but this is not a problem as they have taxis and scooters for rent at the hotel. A little minus is the possibility to charge more than one phone at a time, they could have renewed the adapters, but if you bring your own, it wont be a problem.

This resort was blissful, the setting was stunning, the grounds and their maintenance were top notch and the swimming pool was excellent. The staff were so kind and attentive and nothing was a problem.The food was always tasty and great choices for breakfast and evening meals from the restaurant. One observation and not a criticism we had was in relation to some of the gym equipment which was either broken or had limited functionality, this wasnt a deal breaker for us as we were there to relax.On the whole, this is a beautiful place and very relaxing, it is well positioned for going to the major outlets for shopping etc. and far enough away to feel removed but not remote.I would gladly stay here in the future and would recommend this to anyone wishing a bit of peace.

I really liked the setting of the hotel. The grounds from outside our balcony looked like the rain forest. It was very beautiful and relaxing. The pool area was nice...enjoyed the jacuzzi. The restaurant had delicious food but just a note to non-smokers...even though there are signs prohibiting smoking everyone was still doing it with no one telling them otherwise. That was a downer. Other than that, and some ants we had to battle in our room, we liked everything about this hotel. The complimentary umbrellas were a nice touch.
