Нажаль, поганий зв'зок wifi. Мені потрібно було працювати під час подорожі, тому це було важливо. Багатьом напевно буде непринциповий цей пункт під час відпочинку, але маю сказати, що така проблема була присутня.

Great rooms and lovely service

beautiful place - wonderful staff and the owner goes the extra mile to make his guests happy. picked us up at the ferry for free and provided lots of help and friendly and useful advise. nice food.

Absolutely recommended

The location is on the best side of the island, less crowded. Little beach with fantastic amber sand. Family owned, you feel at home, the owner does whatever to make you feel comfortable. Facilities are available for free. A real feel good place. With a bike you get around from here to the best places to visit. Absolutely recommended.

This side of the island is more exposed to scrap from the sea. More effort is required to keep the beach clean.

Friendly, peaceful relaxed resort with a lovely beach, swimming pool. The service and food are fabulous. It is in the quieter part of the island which suited us perfectly. There are other bars and restaurants along the beach so it is possible to walk elsewhere if you fancy a change of scenery.

Very good

Perfect place if you want to chill out, it's very calm and quite. I really like the resort, the bungalows are big, clean and good equipped. So comfortable! The owner is very nice and helpful. Restaurant has very good food and coffee. The beach has really amber sand, for us that was ok.

The water was not so perfect, totally not clear, dark and looks like "dirty". But the resort also has small swimming pool.

Beautiful quite place! You are in Paradis! The rooms are very spacious,comfortable and private! The owner and his wife are extremely welcoming and Ning , the wife will cook you fresh catchs of the day!delicious!

Beware of the neighbor dog who steal shoes if you leave them outside your room!

We had such an incredible stay at Amber Sands, thank you! The resort is run by such a lovely family who go out of their way to ensure you have the most comfortable and relaxing stay. The property has everything you need if you are looking for an authentic experience of Ko Chang island. The location is on the East side which we loved given the beautiful landscapes, peaceful environment and it also has the most incredible sunsets. The food cooked by Ning was delicious and the property has access to facilities such as canoe and pedal board. If you’re keen to explore more of the island by bike, Simon very kindly drove us to locations where we could hire them and have us some fantastic tips to discover the island. We took the opportunity to also have a massage by the beach which was wonderful and a first experience! Thank you so much Simon, Ning and family! I’m so grateful that Isabella and I had the opportunity to experience staying here. We honestly cannot recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon! 😊

We loved every moment of our stay in Amber Sands. The beach, the pool, Ning’s food. We were traveling with 3 small children and Simon and Ning go out of there way to accommodate us, absolutely recommend this place.

Not bad but needs renovation

Great sea view and free use of a kayak. The restaurant has good food and large portion sizes.

The hotel is located in the non-tourist part of the island, around only farms. Everything is pretty dilapidated, the rooms are dirty and in need of repair. The lighting in the rooms is very poor, apparently in order not to see the dirt. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. WiFi is available but not working.

Pet friendly and cozy

We traveled and stayed here with our whole family and 2 dogs. It's a quiet, peaceful, family oriented place and pet friendly. We love the atmosphere (surrounded by nature) and the coziness of the place. Good food and very friendly staff as well.

5 star stay in a beautiful resort - a great find and good price.

Everything! booked as pet-friendly. Was initially a bit worried about east coast but was drawn to the still sea water and room photos. Often I find resort rooms fail to live up to their photos on the site, but in the case the room was as stunningly beautiful as the photos suggested. Amber Sands is a small resort with only 8 rooms, so it feels private and special as soon as you arrive. the rooms, the pool area, the beach and the restaurant have all been lovingly created and maintained to a high standard not often found in so-called resorts. The staff, led by the owner and family, were charming and nothing was too much trouble. the restaurant on-site was open pretty much all day even though the resort was quiet so you could easily get a drink or a snack any time from 8am to 7:30 pm (or was it 7:30am to 8pm, I forget!!) I thoroughly recommend this resort for a relaxing stay on the east coast with lovely rooms, views and food. I was actually quite sad to leave!!!

Very welcoming place and definitely dog friendly, our dog loved playing around the resort and we were never made to feel that he was in the way. Lovely quiet beach.

Great out of the way stay

Simon and the staff were super great, extremely helpful and were happy to drop us off at the ferry port instead of paying for a taxi. The resort had everything needed for a great stay out the way, and really enjoyed the paddle board and kayak. Really enjoyed the time spent here

When walking around the room everything rattles so it's easy to wake or be woken in the night.

Our best stay in Thailand!

Nice and quiet Relaxed and familar atmosphere Simon and this lovely staff Bungalows are close to the pool and beach Restaurant by the sea Small place with few bungalows

Food in the restaurant are average (Go to The Souk next door, it’s a bit better). You can only buy water in small bottles
