My daughter and I stayed there for four days following escaping the hurricane in Asheville , North Carolina. We were very surprised by some of the lack of friendliness and unprofessional Comments that were exhibited by several of the employees. We were stunned at being corrected multiple times by the lady who prepared breakfast. And one of the gentlemen from India was not friendly when we approached the front desk to ask for information and a late check out on our last day. The hotel itself was located in a wonderful place. The young lady who was cleaning rooms provided us with whatever we needed as we ask for. We asked her not to clean our room all four days in order to prevent them from having to perform extra work . We kept our room clean ourselves. We also had multiple problems with the TV in our room. We had to change rooms because the TV would not come on and when we moved rooms at least twice the TV shut down for a period of time before it came back up . Being spoken to roughly by hotel employees was the most difficult after having such a difficult experience just before we checked in.

Room was clean beds were hard tub had hard water stain in the bottom and the breakfast was not so great. The biscuits were hockey pucks they had a split open banana out which had attracted fruit flys and was already turning mushy bacon was over cooked. Hard beds are fine for me but others might not like it. And the room description said sleeps 5 but the were only two beds no pull out couch or recliner just two beds and a hard chair that was stationary.

Room was supposed to have sleeper couch, it didn’t. Got offered a roll away bed (which I had to take up to the room myself). Upon opening it, I found an earring and dirty sheets.

The hotel was nice. I didn't like that we were put in a room surrounded by dogs. Yes, we did bring a dog, but our dog does not bark. Late that night and early the next morning, the other dogs barked constantly every time someone walked by the doors surrounding us. It wakes you up and if you have kids, this is a problem. I would ask for a different floor next time if I stayed. The hotel was clean and safe and the staff were friendly. It was a good place to stop.

Room was very clean. Loved the lighted mirror. It was quiet as well. The breakfast was probably the best ive ever had at a hotel. Lots of options including a full breakfast and fresh fruit. The only thing is that it is right next to a not so great hotel. When we pulled in, i thought that one was it. We were happy it wasn't it. Would dwfinitely stay again.

La Quinta Knoxville took great care of us. We arrived super late and had no problems getting our room. Staff was at the desk ready even though it was 3am. Room was tidy, breakfast was a bonus. (Good quality food) Thank you.

We traveled with our small dog so our room was one of the "dog rooms." Fine, I get it. But the room stunk. Luckily, I had Febreeze, which I used freely! Apparently they know there's an issue with dog odors because another guest also complained about their room smelling. The shower wall was dirty, the air conditioner was noisy, it ran all night and didn't cool the room, and there was a contact lens on the floor (which means the floor probably wasn't clean). There was dried blood on the bathroom counter! I asked for a disinfectant or something to clean the counter myself and the front desk guy looked at me incredulously and told me he didn't have anything other than the empty can of Lysol that he offered. I wiped the counter and covered it with a towel. We couldn't change rooms because they were sold out. They did not even offer any discount on the room or refund our money. It's a newly remodeled hotel, so there's hope. But, they have to improve their cleaning routine and when a guest has as many issues as we did, at least offer a discount on the room.

Lack of maintenance. Elevator was missing a button, exposing wires on the inside. Hallway vents were covered in dust. Our shower had mold in it. The parking lot outside her door look like a ashtray with the number of cigarette butts and trash.

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The attendant did just that…attended to every aspect of the breakfast experience. This one man show kept the food and coffee stocked as well as the tables clean! English barrier was a real struggle at check in but staff is very friendly. Bathtub was damaged and slippery which was dangerous. Nicely updated except for the bathtub.

Very friendly staff, a big variety for breakfast, right off the main highway, so convenient to most places we needed to go, and clean rooms! Some of the cons... Room was a bit humid at points throughout the stay, maybe it was due to all the rain, not sure. AC unit was loud when running. Additionally, the use of the TV was okay, but needs better remote and system. Overall, a good place to stay for a good price.

Booked a wheelchair access room, but was given a room without access to bathroom. My wife who uses a wheelchair had to go down the hall to the public restroom to use the bathroom. This is second time this hotel has failed to provide the appropriate room. When I questioned the front cherk he told me that this was the room a booked even after I showed him the email for the reservation. The front desk also broke federal law. My wife has a service dog. You only aloud to ask if the animal is a service dog. This clerk demanded to is id for our service dog. We always have fer ID anytime we travel. I even tried to talk to the morning desk clerk and was told it wasn't their fault or problem.

I've never stayed at a La Quinta hotel before but will definitely stay here again and highly recommend! The hotel is in excellent condition, the staff was friendly, the room was amazing and better than most Hilton hotels I've stayed in the last 20 years! The beds were super comfortable and the Dove shampoo and conditioner was a very nice upgrade. Breakfast was great; however, there was no oatmeal which was a bit odd since that's a staple item at most hotels and I really wanted it but still plenty of other good options! All in all, I give this hotel a 10 out of 10 (and I'm super picky).
