Extremely clean, newly removed room. Very comfortable bed. The couple that run the place were very welcoming and pleasant. Simple accommodations, but everything you need. And pristine cleanliness.

My wife and I stayed here because we travel for work. Check in was super quick and easy, staff was nice, our room was clean, comfortable and it was a quiet place. We were satisfied with our stay and will return when in town. It was budget friendly and served the purpose for our 3 night stay. They are actively renovating but it wasn’t loud or noisy.

The room was dirty and unkept. There were broken towel latches on the bathroom door and bad wear (that looked like black mold) on the wallpaper around the hinges from the room door. There were bugs crawling and living in the room (2 spiders, moth, beetle). The room did not have a microwave. Housekeeping did change the trash can bags and towels daily, but the floor was not vacuumed and very dirty after our multiple day visit. There were renovations being done on the rooms at the end of our building and could be heard as early as 9am. The staff was friendly, but rarely was present. Overall, our stay was very disappointing and would not recommend.

New owners so they are in the process of improving the place. My main thing is after being on the road for hours and having done a full campus tour before that. I was having headache from altitude changes and just wanted to rest in the room, but it was HOT! They hadn’t turned the AC on so we had to leave for the room to cool down. My suggestion would be if you know someone is going to be checking into that room, then make sure to have the AC on even at low setting will feel so much better.

New owners trying and restoring an Ithaca area "landmark" and doing well. If you're looking for lodging with all the bells and whistles... keep scrolling. If you're looking for affordable, safe, quiet, clean lodging close to Cornell and the Ithaca area the Embassy is the one. I have to return to the area soon and will be staying there if there are vacancies.

It’s a nice motel with car parking next to your room door. I had one small room with one bed and the shower there was very tiny in the shape of triangle. Even for a slim person not comfortable to use. Everything small in the room and bathroom. Door lock is the regulator key, I think it’s not very safe.

Owner was accommodating in letting us check in after midnight - I let her know in advance and called day of to give estimated time of arrival. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a variety of choices - fruit, juice, cereal, packaged pastries, yogurt. Close to Cornell and worked well for our visit.

It was clean and quiet, pretty much bare bones but that was okay for my needs. Lots of little repairs are needed, but nothing major. My room had a stand-up shower, which was pretty dark and needs its own light. The bathroom light wasn't really enough.

This is a good option for those looking for an economical, yet clean, place to stay close to Cornell and Ithaca. The staff were friendly. The rooms were of decent size. The beds were about what you would expect--not the best but not the worst. We didn't have any issues with noise from other guests. There was plenty of parking.

Close to Cornell University. While the rooms are a little dated, it was super clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was a nice touch and convenient in the morning. Trays are provided to take back to your room.

This is a tidy property with friendly staff, easy parking, and easy access to Cornell. The room was clean, but could use a little TLC - there was some peeling paint in the bathroom, and the a/c unit smelled like it could use a new filter. Overall, a very pleasant room, and I liked the retro pink tiles in the bathroom and the 70's era floral print bedspread.

Ideal location outside Ithaca city for events in Cortland or Ithaca area. Park right outside your room. Small, outdated but clean & efficient room. Tiny bathroom but functional. Quiet & safe location, well lit parking area.

It is a good location for one night. Clean, comfortable, calm and close to trails and Ithaca. Breakfast is OK (muffins, coffee, milk, orange juice, joghurt,corn flakes, bananas)
