Here for a wedding reception. Pleasant location

Spacious parking, well equipped fitness centre. The room was comfortable. Dinner was excellent. Will definitely stay again

Good quality pub type food at sensible prices. Room was comfy, if a little dated. The real downside was the EV charging. I booked this hotel so I could charge the car overnight, but the extortionate 80p per kWh with an unheard of £1.50 connection charge on a slow 7kw charger was a joke. Charged it the next morning at a Tesla supercharger for 51p kWh.

Pleasant and peaceful stay no disturbances overnight unlike some golf hotels

We have stayed here a few times now as it is convenient for family visits. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are comfortable and warm (last days of December!).
Over the years, the management has invested in the site and it now has a gym, which we could have used if we had known about it.
Definitely planning on return visits!

Was ok. Bed was comfy. Room was noisy. Lovely place to stay though

Lovely and quiet.

The room was part of many chalets located at im the entrance to the resort and were very spacious and comfortable.
The food in the golf club was excellent and I would stay here again.
The golf club is a 5 minute walk away from the chalet though.

We had an overnight stay here as we were attending a big birthday celebration that was being held in the function room. We enjoyed the use of the pool table and bowling lanes in the afternoon as well as a lovely lunch in the clubhouse before the event and the staff were very good and attentive. We stayed in room 15 which was had all the essentials but was a little tired, carpet was ripped in places so could do with a new one or maybe a rug to cover it. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Sam was excellent in sorting hotels.com out. Would have liked a free round of golf this time of year

Convenient to the location we wanted but generally needed up grading. Lodges clean, but shower small and decoration from the 90s

The accommodation is a bit dated but clean and warm. The receptionist was very friendly accommodating. I did have to pay for use of their gym which was quite annoying given this wasn’t mentioned when booking - unless I missed it??
Breakfast was very disappointing. The lady dealing with it seemed preoccupied with paperwork and I felt like I was being a burden. I settled on beans and scrambled eggs which I would put on toast I’d prepare. This was because a fresh full cooked would probably have taken too long. When the plate was brought out I was horrified. The eggs were uncooked and not even mixed correctly.
All in all very disappointing and nowhere near the level of service I’ve experienced here over the years.
I will swerve future stays and find new accommodation when in the area.

Lots of flies in the restaurant makes you worry about food hygiene and the breakfast buffet was cold. Rooms are tired the curtains are about to fall down.

To be fair I booked cheap and last minute. Staff and the breakfast were great, value was fantastic, only complaints were the bed was a little uncomfortable and the shower a bit awkward for a taller person

We stayed in a room for the night of New Year's Eve as we were visiting locally. We had been previously so we knew the arrangements. The room was comfortable. The parking was easy. We did not stay up to see in the New Year but it must have been quiet as we had a good sleep. The only downside was that breakfast was not included as the team had been given the opportunity to enjoy the holiday and we would not have had it any other way!The grounds are lovely and we are certainly thinking of returning!

This whole experience was very disappointing. Firstly, when I got there I asked if my friend had arrived. I was told that I had only booked for 1. I said that i booked for 2. At no point was I told that the room would be much more expensive. The room itself was extremely basic and in shabby condition. The furniture is tired and worn out, the carpets are the same and the bathrooms are shabby and utilitarian. The towels and bedding was clean and white, but the double bed had two thin pillows which even when doubled up were too thin. The quilt was very thin and I had to go and get a blanket from the car. The outside was sparse and ill-kept with weeds and very little in the way of shrubbery. There was no hairdryer. Only enough milk and tea for 1 each, depite a two night stay. The breakfast was a joke. The smallest self serve bar. Dirty glasses and you had to fight with the hoards of hungry golfers that were piling their plates with half the contents of the food trolley. I had to go back three times just to get an egg and then was told by the man behind me that he wanted 2 of thet 3 left. The Sunday, they ran out of eggs on a cooked breakfast. When I checked out, I was asked for an extra £80 for the 2 breakasts that my friend had. £80.00 for 2 breakfasts. I had already paid for mine.and they insisted I pay before I could leave. A massively overpriced, shabby hotel. I was told that the manager would call me the day after to sort this, and they have not. Avoid at all costs.

It rained consistently but we still managed to use the floodlit driving range, the golf course and restaurant. Although very boggy under foot and like wading through treacle. There are areas that need some attention along the walkways of the course. Very uneven but to make up for that the food was amazing. The Italian theme night on Friday was excellent

In the middle let down by restaurant staff

The only issue I had with the room was that the fire exit light kept me awake through the night. Glowing green, why do you need this light? Can’t you just use a sign??

We stayed in one of the rooms from New Years Eve to New Years Day. Our breakfast was therefore translated into a discount off lunch, which was very good. We also played ten pin bowling after lunch. There are also some large houses which are very good for groups of about five couples (as well as the golf courses).

Comfortable, clean and lovely surroundings. Only gripe was the mould caused by condensation in the shower room and the fact that the shower controls didn’t work and it wa salmost impossible to get temperature acceptable

The cabin we were allocated was a bit down in the heel. The bathroom taps were difficult to turn off and probably needed new washers. one of the two beds had a tear in the mattress, and the curtains were falling off the rail. The windows were misted and covered in cobwebs. There were lovely cabins on site as we found out on our walks, but the courtyard accommodation is in need of a makeover. Food was ok; pub grub type swamped in sauces and chips with most dishes. The location was handy for Cambridge and St Ives and the reception staff helpful, but you do need a car as the location is a bit isolated.

The Courtyard Cabin (could be noisy)we stayed in needed an upgrade. One of the beds had a rip in the divan. The curtains were falling off the rail and the windows misted up. The bathroom taps couldnt be turned off without a towel around them for grip, and the light pull cord was broken and filthy. The room was not serviced although tea and biscuits were replenished. These are niggles and I am not being fussy but the whole feel was shoddy. The food was ok if you like pub grub swimming in sauce with chips. Breakfast was great.Staff were lovely and helpful.
