Typical Hampton beach dated motel. In need of updates throughout. Motel is in a great location. Just a couple of minutes to strip and beach.

Very clean updated room on the first floor. The room was just ready at check in time but the front desk clerk allowed us to park two hours early so we could enjoy the day at the beach. We could hear the people above us walking during the night.

The Tides is an older place , the staff work to keep up clean . There was no vent in my bathroom and I had no hot water one night because the boiler went out. I left a note at the desk and the clerk was at my door 15 minutes later to explain what happened and apologized. I like the place overall, parking can be a bit of a free-for-all as there is one parking spot per room. It is an easy walk to the beach. Ashworth Av is busy on the weekends so there is a good bit of road noise . The Tides is not a party spot, more family oriented and quieter. I will book there again in the future.

Place was super clean and I would have eaten off the floors. I didn’t see any luxury or national chain hotels anywhere near this place, so this place is as good as it gets. The property was fine and the place was clean, it’s just and old motel in an old beach town.

The staff was very friendly. The room had alot of sand on the floor, the a/c was noisier than a helicopter and the mattresses were uncomfortable.

Room was clean, but dated. Kitchen area was appreciated but had no supplies at all - not even cups to use with the Keurig or tissues. The freezer/refrigerator and microwave were nice to have. Inexpensive cost to stay includes inexpensive towels & pillows. Clientele were quite noisy on porch directly outside our room and heavy smokers. This isn’t the motel’s fault, we know.

Came to Hampton for a concert at the casino ballroom, just stayed the 1 night. Bed was a king, super comfy ☺️. The room however had a funky odor, wasn't clean, stains on the carpet and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Don't think they've cleaned a single corner of that room. Hair dryer was on the wall, but the electrical outlet didn't work. Definitely NOT worth the $184.00 for one night. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Super disappointed ☹️

Excellent location, Bed was comfortable and clean. Parking is quite tight. Located on a busy and at times loud street. Building needs total renovation, typical of a beach town old motel. Owners and family are extremely friendly.
