A great hotel. Very simple, clean quiet and comfortable. The owner is extremely kind. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her motel. The price is reasonable and you get a nice continental breakfast! I’ll definitely be back when through this area.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. If you want quiet, request rooms away from the Main St. The vehicles can be really loud in the rooms closest to the park. Another great old school motor lodge upgraded.

Room was very nice, simple, tastefully decorated. Very clean, we had everything to feel comfortable. Kitchen/breakfast area was spotless. Motel even has area to relax and enjoy the sunset with mountain views. Location of the hotel is fantastic: walking distance from downtown Canon City; right across the street from the Royal Gorge train and the Arkansas river and 3 minutes from Tunnel Drive Trail Head if you like scenery and hiking. One block from the motel is a fantastic ice cream shop! Continental breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. We ate outside of the breakfast area and enjoyed the mountain views. We will definitely be staying here if we are in this area again!

Beds were super comfy, and the front desk service was great. Good breakfast choices, nice to be able to park right at our room. The road noise was very loud, as was the train that came by. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind.

My husband and I had a great stay. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great night of sleep. Service felt personal and the breakfast was sufficient. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Cañon City felt very safe with a cozy downtown and park area.

We booked this motel after seeing all the good reviews . Indeed all those reviews were justified . This small motel right next to the busy street was well maintained, clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Right behind the motel , is a historic downtown with popular eateries with lots of options. Our train ride was right across the motel , one of the reasons we booked this motel. Highly recommend this motel to friends and families

Very quaint remodeled older motel. Staff was very responsive and a traditional continental breakfast that was free. We loved having a room with 3 queen beds. There was a slight smell in the room that improved slightly with the air conditioning

We booked around 6 rooms and all were with kids we didn’t get double bed while booking. Staff was so helpful and understandable and arranged extra beds the breakfast option was so good.

We stayed there to ride the train which was right across the street. Lots of restaurants and shops with in walking distance. Nice room and the lady running the place was very pleasant.

This motel is a great economical stay. It is within walking distance to the Royal Gorge Train terminal and several great parks with a river trail.The motel is a bit dated but have all the requirements needed for overnight stays. I would recommend a two night stay so that you can leave your car at the motel while enjoying the sites of Canyon City, Colorado.

This was better than most motels. There was a coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, Kleenex, breakfast, free ice, laundry available and much more. The owner is awesome and goes above and beyond.

We were stranded due to our RV breaking down and needed a place to stay overnight. This place had wonderful accommodations! The washer and dryer were both clean and inexpensive. The room was very clean with a full kitchen and the bed and pillows were the best and so very comfortable!!The staff was also very kind and inviting.

A wonderful flashback to my childhood staying in motels across the country. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff and a nice continental breakfast. Plus, it was a short walk away to the river festival going on the weekend we were there.

This property was conveniently located next to the Royal Gorge Train and to old downtown, so both were walkable, including restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a sliding door and balcony right on the river. Breakfast was a typical cold buffet. Just a great experience.

Rooms are clean and “old fashioned” meaning they have old appliances, actual key locks, and features but it’s a motel! This was comfortable, affordable and just what we needed for a stop over in town. Would stay again. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment.
