Definitely a cheap motel. There is an old musky smell in each room. My friends were staying a few units down from mine and the smell/condition was the same. My unit had linoleum floors and it wasn’t mopped in a while. When I moved barefoot from the shower to the bedroom and back my feet were dirty and left mud prints in the bathroom floor. There previously was graffiti on the shower rod. I could still see it even though there was an effort to take it off. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way. The shampoo was watered down - not sure if on purpose or if it was a bad brand. Shower caulking wasn’t very clean. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Again, if you are looking for cheap accommodations this fits the bill. I’m leaving an honest review here because I read the opposite of what I experienced. If I would have known what I do now I won’t be back. The service counter was nice to switch rooms when the original room smelled like cigarettes (non-smoking).

When we checked in, staff at the front desk was not personable or helpful. We asked for exyra towels, he said no, towels are in the room. The matress horrible, and made (squeaking) too much noise. Refrigerator wss broken. Upstair tenant_patron was noisey, walking stomping all hours of night. We could hear their tv all night. Bad overall experience.

It wasn’t to my expectations. Very noisy … you can hear people walking above rooms and all next rooms. Just found out there was a murder a few rooms down about a month ago. No water bottle was given.

I booked at Valley hotel because of the rating for cleanliness at Hotels.com. The refrigerator was very smelly inside and found out it was not working. The main door was jammed. There were hairs on the bedsheets. There’s a mold stain at the bottom of the bathtub. My kids found a small cockroach on the bathtub on the second day, and we smashed it. We won’t be coming back to the same hotel. I honestly think the room cleaner needs to do a better job.

The staff was excellent, also the shower pressure, wifi speed, cleanliness, and the double bed room was spacious. But it's overpriced as the room was like those found in cheap road motels. The pillows were flat, you can hear upstairs guests, the air conditioner is very loud, the shower height is 5'2", so iI had problems washing my hair. The tub size is tiny and the mattress quality was average. I would return only for an emergency stay, because the staff was really helpful and friendly.

It was Delightful,the Staff are all very nice and Helpful,it's quiet, you can actually here yourself THINK,as the Clock goes TIC TOC!! The management are like Family,always Greeting you with a "Smiling Face", and a Great Sense of Humor!! Great Security,always felt safe,even at night ," I Travel Alone,". I was Able to get ALOT of Writing Done,I'm an Investigator,and I Delve in zThe Suoer-Natural Studies! This Place has Plenty of History behind it ,L.O.L. and there are Plenty of EATIrIES around,Jim's Burgers is Great,Lee's Sandwiches a Town Icon, and Plenty of Asian Heritage"! Try it the next time your in Town, " ask for *MOOAW FLAME*, and get the Famiky Tradition Discount*, Bring your Freunds ,i over hesrd thry might be putting a Cabana type Jacuzzi!! This is a horrible place I wish I weren’t there! I can hear ppl talking and snoring, someone’s car outside keep alarming in the middle of night. Policy was there with guns on hand, def not a safe place to stay.

needed new curtains. was dusty but beds were neat and clean. cleaning services worried about making beds and clean towels and putting new soap and toiletries. overall it was quite and peaceful and my stay was good.

The staff was very friendly. The bed was clean but it was pretty dirty on the walls and around all the baseboards, I moved a night stand and it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in many years. I have no idea how it got a 7.2 rating out of 10. If the rooms got a really good cleaning it wouldn’t be so bad.

We went to see the Rose Parade for the 1st time. The price was good, the area felt safe, but inside was gross - 1st encounter was a large roach, lots of hair in the bathroom and just felt dirty overall. I checked the linens for stains which considering the rest of the room felt like I would stains with my eyes & without a black light, found none. I guess I’m glad that I got a decent price for just 6 hours and considering with the rose parade all other hotels rates were out of this world so can’t be too upset.

The owners of the hotel was very friendly and helpful on inquiries. The neighborhood is relatively safe and there are many places to go to eat. The room, though somewhat outdated, was also relatively clean. Not a bad choice for a short stay.
