Spend a week at this location close to Northwest hospital. The power went out on our second night. The place had no backup lights. No exit markings. You will need to bring your own portable heater because the bathrooms like the rest of the building are not heated damn cold. It is clean BUT if you share a bathroom with a guy down the hall expect pee on the floor etc. Parking is available but NOT well marked. No one to contact for information.

Simple check in and out, nice clean rooms for reasonable price. No useful public transportation around there, but it seems that they will have a new train station nearby in the near future? So nice to visitors.

The facility is very nice. Lighting quit good except the was dark the first 1/2 way from the car. I was disappointed that there were no cups to drink from and to take my pills.

Pictures don’t show that the kitchen and living space are shared and it was NOT obvious in the listing. No tv, clock or lamp. No washcloths. Cheap but spartan.

This rooming house is in a convenient location and it served my needs. The floors in my room were dirty with someone else's hair but the common areas were very clean. My biggest issue was that it didn't feel very secure. The front door was left unlocked and the inside doors are just hollow core with cheap little locks on them. The doors were smaller than the frames so I had to drape towels over the top of the door and then close the door to keep the light out or anyone peeking in. The sliding glass door had no lock in the handle. As a single female traveler, it was a little unnerving. It wasn't but a bad place to stay but a few small upgrades would make a world of difference.

Very basic so I ended up feeling it was over priced. Lockbox outside room for checkin did not work. Another guest finally assisted me. No airconditioning( no wash clothes, fan’s cord too short to reach one available outlet. Very small room, no reading light at bedside. Won’t book here again.

I've stayed before and nothing has changed. I was concerned about how the place would be in the summer with no air conditioning anywhere in the house. I was disappointed to find only a room fan with inexplicable Fahrenheit degrees down to 60°. No compartment for freon refrigerant, so I messaged the manager about freestanding swamp coolers from Amazon. No response. I had the same problem with my suggestions last time. The management doesn't seem to know about Conde Naste Travel magazines and websites. We send out unidentified customers to see what the establishment is. Restaurants never know when a reviewer is in the house. Same with lodgings. I wouldn't recommend this place during warm weather. We'll see what happens next.

I think that the listing could do a better job of explaining what exactly this place is. It's a house where individual bedrooms have locks and lockboxes and are rented out individually. Bathrooms and the kitchen are shared. There really aren't many places to hang out in the common areas and the whole experience was comfortable but uncanny. I did end up with mostly courteous neighbors for most of my stay, though on one night a couple was being loud in a neighboring room, which revealed how thin the walls are. I don't hold that against the owner of course or the couple because it's none of my business.

Pros: The room and the common area were clean. Sharing the refrigerator was not a problem. Using the access codes for building entry and room entry were easy, with no problems. The bathroom was modern, tiled, and had drawers for toiletry storage. Cons: The room was VERY small and was difficult to have suitcase (carry-on size) space and ease of movement for two people in the room. The king-sized bed was against the wall, so it was only possible to get into bed from one side. There was no air conditioning. There was no way to get cross-ventilation in the room. There were no wash cloths.

In residential neighborhood. Clean, quiet, large kitchen and 2 large eating tables. Really no furniture or ambience in common area for relaxing, reading. Only an overhead light. No TV. Eight rooms, some with private bathroom. Everything is obviously closed up for security, so rooms were very hot. No AC in house, but freestanding fan in room. Small desk/light, bed in room; that's it. Nice bathroom. Parking in alley for some of the rooms, otherwise, out front. Would I stay here again? Maybe in cooler weather and if I just needed a place to sleep.

The house has 8 rooms that are rented with thin walls and hard wood floors so it’s difficult to sleep because you can hear everything from people walking, talking, opening and shutting doors and use of restroom facilities. The room was not completely clean. There was quite a bit of hair on the floor in the bedroom and drug paraphernalia in the cabinet of the desk. When booking it states taxes and fees included but them are charged a $15 cleaning fee. Parking was good .

The facilities was very clean and of great value. The only inconvenience was expectations set regarding check-in. For example, upon booking my stay, I received instructions that a $100 refundable cash deposit plus a $15 nonrefundable cleaning fee will be required upon check-in so I went through the trouble of making sure I had the exact amount of cash on me prior to the trip. On the day of check-in, I received a text with check-in instructions, instructing me to pay the $15 cleaning fee via credit card instead. No mention was made of the $100 cash deposit. It was inconvenient for me to make a special trip to ensure that I have exactly $115 in cash for something that proved unnecessary.

Considering this was booked last minute to meet friends in Seattle during Memorial Day weekend, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Definitely will be considering this property again because we come down to the Northgate area quite often.

They keep this place so clean. The rooms are perfect for what you pay and the kitchen is always nice. Two seating areas to eat. The beds were comfortable and big fans in the rooms, since they don’t have A/C. All in all, very comfortable and I hated leaving, couldn’t rebook because they are always booked up. I’d definitely stay again. Oh, I left my passport, of all things and they weee very timely in helping me out. Thank you

Pretty cozy little room, property kind of set up like a mini hostel. Comfty bed. Probably could use more care and preperation for restroom sharing situation (maybe clothes hooks, shower soap dish or shelf, shower spash guard or splash mat shower mat, and extra TP and cleaners). Otherwise house in good clean and tidy condition. Freeway nearby and inbound air traffic overhead but considering its a major metropolitan area it was a relatively quiet neighborhood.

Check in info wasn't actually clear that the lock boxes were outside each room. The numbers on key codes were very hard to read. The house is noisy due to lack of carpets and fabrics. There is no place to sit except at a kitchen table or your bed. There are no tv's. The worst was having inconsiderate guests that left dirty dishes and food debris in sinks! Would not stay there again.

Just a heads up to others. I didn’t realize there was no air conditioning (my fault for not checking) so I downgrade comfort level when Seattle heat is in the high 80s or above. There was a fan and window opens, but it opened directly onto rear access walk way, so not very secure or privacy feeling. I would not stay in hot weather again. Also, no TV. Not as important, but worth knowing.
