Loved this property for its staff, comfortable rooms, and boutique feel. The staff are VERY friendly and accommodating. Through no fault of their own there is major construction going on in the adjacent lot which started early every day until early evening. It was very loud and it sounded like they were coming through my wall any minute. The restaurant is good but with a limited menu. Breakfast was very nice. The location is a bit further from the historic district than the website indicates. It’s walkable, but it’s all uphill on the trek back! I would stay here again.

This is a charming little hotel, beautifully decorated and in very good condition. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, we were greeted with a leaking tap that flooded the bathroom floor and had to use our towels to mop up since a maintenance crew wasn’t available. The towels weren’t replaced until 5pm the following day. The biggest issue is the building site two doors down where they were inserting pilings during our stay which generated perpetual and incredibly loud banging sounds for long periods. I have to say that this isn’t the hotels fault and they were sympathetic to their customers. I had thought that they could have forewarned us but that’s effectively like saying “don’t come here” which would be to the detriment of their business. Had the staff not been so nice, this would have been a 2 due to the noise but it could easily have been a solid 4 without the disruption.

Average quality hotel in a not-so-nice area I thought. I had to wait on check-in as the room wasn't ready, even though it should have been by 3pm. I was a single female traveller and felt a little uneasy coming and going from the hotel on occasions in the rather run down top part of this famous shopping street. I wish I had booked somewhere better located. Positives-friendly guy with beard and glasses in the kitchen and the breakfast selection was very good. I felt the hotel literally had no soul, as staff were not as warm and welcoming as you would have hoped. I had booked a room with a terrace and the bedroom was so narrow you could hardly walk around the bottom of the beds. The terrace also overlooks the same street with some run down buildings and people working in offices, so hardly the glamour you perhaps seek. Really inconvenient that there was no computer for guests to use in emergencies. I ended up walking all over the city to try to find a computer to use-both public libraries were closed and I was lucky to meet a friendly Italian lady who let me use her Mac. This stress and waste of time could have been avoided if the hotel had had a computer for guests or a business "corner" available. Overall-very disappointed in my selection of this hotel for 3 nights.

We were in Porto for 3 nights I choose that hotel because it had many good reviews and I know why after check in. Staff was very friendly , rooms were clean and the location was ok. Breakfast was tasty too. Will use this hotel line in Barcelona and Madrid for sure 💪

Pur Oporto was such a stunning hotel - even more lovely in person. The rooms were spotless and the small details (incense diffusers in each room) made everything feel so chic and elevated. The hotel and rooms had such great character and the staff were wonderful. Centrally located and most activities we wanted to do were within walking distance.

My wife and I stayed at the Pur Oporto hotel in Porto for a week. Overall, it was good, but a few things could be better. The hotel is in a good spot, close to Santa Caterina and other parts of Porto. It made it easy to explore the city. The hotel staff is nice and ready to help all the time. Our room was big and had everything we needed. There were lots of TV channels to choose from. The restaurant and bar had great food and drinks at good prices. The hotel's internet was fast and didn't give us any problems. Even though there weren't kettles in the rooms, the staff made us tea when we asked. The showers didn't have strong water pressure, and sometimes the hot water didn't work well. We almost missed our welcome drink because we arrived at 2 am. We found out later that new guests were supposed to get it, and the staff gave it to us when we asked. There was a strange smell in some parts of the hotel that smelled like sewage. It didn't bother us too much, but it was a bit strange. In conclusion, our stay at the Pur Oporto hotel was mostly good. The great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and tasty food left a good impression. The hotel is modern and new renovated. The location is walkable distance to few sightseeing places. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. Just the parking space is not too convenient as it's at the opposite building to the hotel.

Hotel very nice, parking not the easiest but they have options. The immediate area around the hotel is a little gritty, but two blocks down the street turns into a walking zone and many options for food. Hotel is very well kept.

Parking was a problem. You have to prepay to get a space on site, otherwise you have to go to a parking lot 3 blocks a way. They charged us $50 for 2 days. Nobody told us that if you prepaid is cheaper($24 less)
