The house(s) themselves were fine. The listing is very misleading as this property is two (2) separate houses. Animal's are welcome but neither of the houses have a fenced in backyard. Also, there was broken glass on the ground around the property's. The location of these property's is extremely unsafe, especially for family's with small children. We had an Uber driver who was a 30-year veteran police pick us up who told us horror stories about the crime on the street in which these properties reside. He was actually shocked when he picked us up and learned that our families were staying here. We felt very unsafe the entire visit. Please beware of the location of this VRBO!!!

When we checked in the code did not work and we had to use the phsycal located in a dark backyard area of the property. The heater and air didn't work, there were only two blankets for 6 beds the smoke detectors were destroyed and the entire hme reeked of marijuana smoke. The other home family room carpet was covered with dog hair, only had two blankets for six beds, smoke alarm was destroyed and the shower head was cracked and sprayed the ceiling and flooded the bathroom floor. All of this was reported to their representative on our checkin night and we were promised management would be out to correct that night or early the next morning at the latest. No one called or came out. On our second night we bought blankets and materials from Lowe's to fix the shower. The exterior of both properties were strewn with beer cans and broken glass. We didn't hear from management until I called to tell them we were checking out in the morning.

It’s a nice house. Needs a little TLc, but overall it was good. The listing is two separate houses, it would have been great to know. I assumed it was a duplex joined house. Now that I know, we will definitely rent this house again, because it was a great location for us.
