About this house rental

King Room - 322 square foot room with views of Mount Shasta from bed. Large walk-in tiled shower, dining table for two, and a comfortable chair make this space perfect for a couple or a solo traveler.

Mount Shasta VIEWS from your own private boutique hotel room downtown nestled beneath a stunning mountain. Walk to everything and experience life like a local in this funky California mountain town. Completely renovated in 2022 with walk-in tiled shower, fast & reliable fiber internet, historic hardwood floors, large screen smart tv, and luxurious 800 thread count Eqyptian Cotton sheets.

All of our rooms are non-smoking and this room does not allow pets. If you are traveling with a pet, please reserve Room 102 (our only pet friendly room).

Guests will access a small entry lobby, one flight of stairs and a common hallway. The entire loft will be private and accessible to only the guest (no sharing of space required). Please note there is no elevator in the building so climbing one flight of stairs is required for this space. If you need a space with few or no stairs, there are 2 ground floor rooms in the hotel, Room 101 and Room 102.

You can't find a better location in the downtown with literally nearly every one of Mt Shasta's best spots are within walking distance! Feel free to make eye contact and say hello as you walk the sidewalks as this is a small, friendly town. Our outdoorsy neighbors across the street at The 5th Season will rent you any outdoor recreation equipment you might want for an unforgettable adventure. Snowshoes, skis, mountain bikes, etc..

This is truly the PERFECT LOCATION for walking to restaurants. Bikes are also a fun way to get around and can be easily rented from our neighbor directly across the street, The Fifth Season. If you're using a car, there's plenty of free on-street parking within 2 blocks to the east and south of the building.

You would be so close to many of Mt Shasta's best spots!
-THEORY Coffee & Bakery (located on the ground floor of the hotel) - national award winning coffee company with baked goods
-Alua's Thrive Bar (2-minute walk) - excellent kombucha, acai bowls & smoothies

We stayed on one of the hottest weekends of the year, and the room was great and incredibly cool with the mini split. The location was ideally located, quiet, and the coffee shop downstairs was lovely. If we’re back in the area, this is where we’ll stay. The only thing I would’ve liked is more dinner options/recommendations and/or communication with the host. My husband and I were here for our 12th wedding anniversary and hadn’t planned dinner, and a few nicer restaurant recommendations would’ve been great.

The Summit Loft experience was great from beginning to end. Check in was quick, The room was clean. We appreciated the ear plugs as the street outside was loud at times. Thanks for the great stay.

My stay at Summit lofts was excellent, the location is prefect, right next to all of the shops and downtown and grey views of the mountain. The rooms are perfect, well decorated, cozy and the beds are very comfortable. Will be back soon!
