Nice weekend stay at poets rest.

Nice small apartment, close to Aldrington train station, few minutes by train into Brighton. Lots of bars & restaurants within walking distance of poets rest . Fair walk into Brighton but pleasant stroll along the sea front . Apartment is located in a quiet residential area ,parking was a bonus . Shop directly opposite the property . Hosts were friendly & informative. We would stay here again.

Beds a bit creaky & could hear people in upstairs apartment but that wouldn't put us off staying again as generally we weren't in the apartment for long ,just a shower & somewhere to sleep.

Perfect @ Poets Rest

Great apartment,fully equipped and private parking was invaluable, knowing we didn't have to search for parking daily. Within walking distance of seafront and some brilliant eateries - the flour pot is a lovely bakery! Set off on our bikes using cycle lanes from Hove to Brighton and wonderful facilities at beachfront in Hove. We love Brighton so this gem of a find will be booked again! Hosts provided easy access to the property, generous with towels, great welcome message with suggestions for eating locally.

A lovely stay in a fairly quiet area in Hove

Off-road parking Nearby shops Approx 15 minute walk to seafront Not too far from Brighton city centre Hosts were friendly and helpful

Great place to stay, off road parking and EV charger are a real bonus.

Great place to stay, Aldrington Station is a 7 min ride to Brighton and the station is very close to the property. Off road parking was a massive bonus. Couldn't get EV charger to work at first but found it only works after midnight, till 7 or 8am, there's a roadside Ev charger across the road which I used to complete the charge, free parking as long as your car is on charge so all good! Apartment was great, Brendan and Kirsty were very helpful.

Initial problems with EV charger, but all good in the end.

OK but more care need from owner / housekeeper

location and off road parking. Beds very comfortable.

Heating not working correctly radiators in sitting room and hallway cold. Unable to get any channels on the TV. No signal?? No written instruction for TV etc or other local information - where are local pubs?? large window in main roof left partially open and unsecured. Bathroom not fully cleaned hairs in bath and sink.

A lovely weekend rest in Hove with all mod cons

Quiet location in lovely neighbourhood. stylish and clean, good for a family of 4/5

fruit fly issue and a leaky toilet bed bit creaky but all comfy and great quality towels and bedding

Fantastic!

Everything! Super accommodation in a lovely quiet area walking distance from beautiful Hove seafront and an easy bus ride into central Brighton. Plenty of eating and drinking choices nearby too; highly recommend Kismet for takeaway Indian!

Difficult to work out how to use the cooker. A simple wrtten explanation on arrival would be useful

The apartment was lovely. It was very modern, clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very friendly and willing to help with recommendations of where to eat/drink etc. as well as being willing to help with any general queries.

It was a long walk into Brighton center, although there are regular buses.
