Lovely base for family get away.

The location, it has glorious views. Lovely large veranda to sit on. Can see your kids on the pub play area from there. Nice friendly pub. Good basic meals served there. Lasagne, curry, Macaroni cheese all of us happy with these. Comfy beds. Brilliant shower pressure (unusually so for a caravan).

Microwave needs repairing/replacing, as the heat level knob moves when in use, only found out on last evening so did not inform the host. Did not cook on this holiday so cannot comment on the cooker.

Great little place to stay, clean enough and comfortable. Don’t stay in winter it’s too cold and the pipes will freeze.

Great location, not far from Llangollen village or up to the horseshoe pass. Clean enough, nice little lounge to relax in the evening in front of the tv. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great shower pressure and adequate bathroom. Beds were quite comfortable.

Unfortunately we stayed during an Artic blast so the pipes froze which meant we had no water day or night and the heating couldn’t keep up so the night before we checked out early we were absolutely frozen. A hairdryer would have been nice and enough towels. We were given two for 3 people. Another blanket or too would have been nice on the cold nights.

Dated, grubby old caravan that needs a good clean. Surrounded by weeds and nettles . Arrived and caravan had not been changed over . 2 towels for 4 people. Beds uncomfortable and protector sheets dirty. Gas cooker not working properly needs checking. What they don’t tell you is that this caravan it part of the awful grange hotel and camping filed. surrounded by broken glass , rubbish and campers swearing and shouting and playing loud music until 4 am in the morning. Avoid at all costs. Cleaner was a pleasant lady but staff at the hotel were very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Also please avoid eating at the grange hotel, waited 1.5 hours for pretty bad food. It’s a shame as this place run properly could be amazing ! As it’s in an amazing location just outside Llangollen. Stayed in abbey farm down the road last time we were in the area much better place to stay.

Cosiness of the caravan in a lovely setting.

Double bed was very uncomfortable, needed a single quilt as mattress topper. Several problems with a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet.
