This hotel was a great suprise! Had room 505 (top floor I presume) with the most wonderful view!! Too bad I did not stay more days!! PLUS the breakfast was so good!!

Nice hotel an easy walk from anywhere in the historic district and close to all car parks; room was very clean, staff friendly and polite, and breakfast package well worth it with cook to order as well as buffet. Their adjacent tapas/restaurant place also quite good.

Atari is a modern and outstanding hotel in the heart of the “casco viejo” (old town). Rooms are perfect. Highly designed. The location is very convenient for everything. Staff very kind and able to speak many languages. On the sixth floor there is a terrace with tables and chairs where you can bring an aperitif or dinner. On the ground floor the hotel has a high level connected restaurant. The exceptional things about this hotel are four. Really beautiful and very comfortable rooms. An exceptional breakfast. The location in the heart of the historic center. The soundproofing of the rooms. When you open the window in the summer, it feels like you are in a disco from the noise. When you close it, total silence.

Great location in the heart of San Sebastián’s old town. Walking distance to everything. Hotel is trendy and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Air conditioning very effective. If not European, keep in mind there are no USB outlets in the rooms so you might need multiple converters or one that has a USB port on it.

Great service, beautiful room. Would mention that it’s next to a church which has bells that go every 15 minutes during the day so probably not suitable for people with young children. Very comfortable bed

It was very nice!! Amazing location right in old town next to the church that is the main attraction in old town. It does get a little loud in that area so just know that but it honestly didn’t bother us. My only qualm was the towels were a little rough and the towel warmer didn’t work in our room but other than that it was perfect! The staff was great, too :) Would definitely stay again!

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Staff were exceptional. Breakfast was absolutely worth it. Only downside was how far from parking it was but the view to and from the garage was beautiful so it made the walk enjoyable.

So much potential on this property, but poorly executed in terms of the hotel installation, operation and staff support. Let me start with the fact that the hotel is a great but busy area that is pedestrians-only, so you would think that the hotel would have staff to help out with the bags - nope. Then the rooms, they are tiny and def not reflective of the price, then you have the AC issue (there is regulation that it cannot go below a certain temp, but it is definitely not working properly and it constantly feels incredibly hot, which teases me to the last point. -you have to open the doors of the balcony to get some air, the problem is the noisy area up to 2-3 am, and then the early trash crew picking up at 7am!! We moved to a diff hotel the immediate day as these issues are unbearable. Staff was not helpful at the beginning (sort of well this is the way it is), although the manager agreed to refund the remaining cost of the nights we booked given we were moving hotels, so that was positive. Beautiful area but not convention from the noise / AC and access perspective .

Hotel Atari is a small hotel in the busiest part of town. They did a great job at soundproofing, the windows were 2” thick. Although small, the location and walkability was great. The staff were very helpful with suggestions and reservations, and the included breakfast was marvelous. Best free hotel breakfast I have ever had! I only give it 4 out of 5 stars because for the price it felt a bit cramped, but I understand you are paying for location.

Small room, decorated in dark colors which seemed to be the theme throughout the hotel, giving it a somewhat opppresive atmosphere. Very limited communal lounge/bar. Lacking in decent storage, bedside tables hardly big enough for a book and a glass of water. Bathroom/ shower room painted black throughout including floor and fittings. Small shelf around basin, very little room to stand toiletries etc. Limited hooks, wardrobe small and incorporating coffee making machine, safe and small fridge. Floor black painted concrete, cracked and scuffed. Only plus was comfortable bed, linens and towels changed every day which seemed excessive and not environmentally friendly. Breakfast disappointing, more Patxos, little choice. Location very central in the Old Town, crowded bars etc., most nights, easy to walk around the city and port.

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of old town. At first I was hesitant because of noise but you can’t hear anything outside because the windows are double paned. This hotel is fresh , modern and outstanding. The breakfast is superb and I would stay here again

I was in Spain for six weeks, and Atari was one of my favorite places to stay! The building and location were amazing, as well as the hospitality and service of the staff. The room and bathroom and amenities were impeccable. The was by far one of the best two nights of my trip.

The hotel was everything we wanted for a lovely few days in San Sebastián. Perfect position in the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definite recommend.

They did not have a room for us. Transfer us to another hotel outside the old city center hotel made arrangements and moved us to another hotel. Very inconvenient specially since reservation was made months and months in advance. If this is not published is because Expedia does not want deal with legit customer complaints

Had a lovely stay in Hotel Atari. Excellent location in the heart of the buzzing Old Town and only a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach promenade of La Concha! Breakfast was more than adequate with tasty pinxtos, great coffee and hot breakfast option available. Great view of the church from the balcony (the only sound that made it through the windows and doors was the bells chiming every 15 mins!). Staff were nice and friendly too!

Loved the area, the balcony view, the breakfast was excellent, wonderful staff, the only complaint I have is the bathroom stunk of raw sewage from time to time. Thinking the sewage system was backing up for some reason. Perhaps due to the excessive recent rain falls. Otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay in the old town for Pintxos crawls. It was off season and quiet but I suspect in the summer it’s quite loud especially on weekends

Hotel is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Old Town but when you shut the window there is silence. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. My wife found the bed a bit too hard.

Amazing location. Great staff couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. Our room faced the cathedral and we had front row seats to all the events that took place in front of the church and on the streets. Great place to walk lotss of shopping , restaurants and bars.

Staff are fantastic. Room small for two people. Bathroom amenities were minimal-no bar soap, shampoo or conditioner-gel in shower was not great for hair-had to go buy products. And no where to put anything inside the shower except the floor. minimal closet space -cant hang dresses.

Hotel in a fabulous location for old town. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast options were very good. Slightly disappointed with the room as the terrace advertised at time of booking had been turned into an area for the whole hotel to use so privacy wasn’t great & had been the main reason for booking.

We loved Hotel Atari. The hotel had excellent staff who greeted us with a friendly smile and a glass of local wine. That was a nice touch. They were very helpful throughout our stay with recommendations and the room was spacious and quiet but access to the balcony overlooking the cathedral made it lively when you wanted. The room though was peaceful, clean , spacious and the bed was really comfortable. It was boutique hotel quality in a great spot. The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. Overall thank you all for a great time. Remember parking is off site.

My wife & I travel a lot, so have very high standards & expectations for places we stay. Atari Hotel was a great hotel in a perfect location with all the amenities you need when travelling. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean & (after 5+ weeks of travelling throughout Spain) had THE BEST shower I have ever experienced in a hotel. The only issue I could find throughout the stay was that the room doors had spring vlosing functions which made them slam shut (very loudly), which made for the occasional abrupt 'wake-up call' during the night or early morning. Apart from that minor issue, we loved our stay here. The staff were all super friendly & helpful, breakfast was great & wirth the extra money and we would definitely stay here again when we are next in San Sebastian.
