Fantastic

Davide the owner goes above and beyond to be so helpful to make all his guests have an extremely good “WHAW “ stay . This location is definitely a unique tranquil place to find, highly recommended to go here. He has fantastic knowledge of all local gem locations . Beautiful location and views are AMAZING!!!!

Fantastic place along with superb hospitality of Davide / Da Higgins

Everything about this place was great including Davide the host who went out of his way to make our stay 5 star. He made himself available to take us out to Portofino or anywhere locally during the day or for evening dinner so we could leave the car in his secure parking area in the grounds of the villa. Continental Breakfast was superb served on the terrace overlooking Sta Margarita. I believe it's called Da Higgins after Magnums butler in Hawaii 50. I think Magnum would have got on just perfectly with Davide.!

The entrance to the Villa was difficult to find and perhaps Davide could place a removeable sign on the gate when he has guests staying? The only negative point was the very steep and narrow driveway but Davide went out of his way to ensure that the car came in and went out without any issues. My car is a very wide Bentley Continental so all normal cars going there will not have a problem.

Sensationell, Gastwirtschaft, wie man sie selten findet.

Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause oder sogar noch besser, jeder Wunsch wird unausgesprochen erfüllt. Eine 10 ist keinesfalls übertrieben. Sehr sehr zu empfehelen. Einziger kleiner Makel: man findet die Zufahrt, die sehr eng ist, nur schwer. Empfehlung: unbedingt in der Unterkunft anrufen, man wird dann abgeholt.

We had an incredible stay at da Higgins. The room was beautiful and clean and the location perfect with absolutely stunning views over Santa Margherita. What really stood out during our stay, however, was the exceptional and truly family-oriented level of service. The hosts served an amazing breakfast customized after our needs, provided great restaurant and acitivity recommendations and - not to say the least - offered us to borrow a vespa to easily get around in the area. This stepped up the entire stay and enabled us to have a proper Italian experience. We would absolutely recommend da Higgins and would not hesitate to go back!

True Ligurian hospitality

Da Higgins is by no means a typical accommodation in Santa Margherita Ligure, it represents a true immersion into the Italian hospitality experience. You will stay in a boutique residence perfectly distanced from the hustle & bustle of the city center. The property itself is fantastic, composed of an authentic, charming Italian villa surrounded by a beautiful garden with numerous places to wind down and relax, including a terrace and a small swimming pool. The view from any location inside the property (rooms, garden, terrace) is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was served on the terrace, local, rich in variety and very tasty. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable and overall decorated with great taste, attention to detail and quality of materials. I was also surprised to find amenities that numerous 5* hotels offer only on request (slippers, dental kits, etc.) The residence is owned & managed by a local resident who has a clear gift for hospitality. Davide went out of his way to provide a wonderful service that exceeded our needs and expectations. Among other gestures, we were served a delicious home-made Focaccia and Limoncello made from Davide's own lemon garden. We are looking forward to returning to Da Higgins very soon and experiencing genuine Ligurian hospitality.

Outstanding. Huge terrace, fantastic views, large garden, spacious rooms, air con, on site parking, brand new renovation, 3 bathrooms. And a pool !
