Good Value 👍

Liked the Behaviour of the Hotel Manager and the owner. They genuinely shared information about all the areas we wanted help or needed. Specially, Prawesh lama is a very good manager over there. Positive vibe you will get in the hotel.

Owners are good and of friendly behaviour

It doesn't have any facilities of food You can get only breakfast there...but for lunch and dinner you have to go to other restaurant And location is very much uphill from mall road

A home away from home

We stayed at INDIVAR HOMESTAY from may 4 - may 6th 2023...From the checkin to check out we never had any complaints ...The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy...The view from the terrace is mind-blowing and the host Ms.sabita lama was very helpful in guiding us about nearby places ...Even kareena kapoor stayed in this homestay for couple of days during her web series shoot so was good to know we stayed in the same room .I would def recommend this to families travelling together...A home away from home .

Great place, with reasonable rates.

the location, the property is just a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre and chowrasta. The rooms were very homely, and the host was very kind and generous. They are very flexible with the timings as well. The rooms were clean, and the terrace is beautiful. The neighbourhood is quiet and accessible.

Everything was great, maybe dental kits could be provided in the rooms as many guests assume it might be present in the room.

A gem, a very nice stay. The place we will go if ever visiting again Darjeeling

Extremely clean, comfortable room, well appointed. The lady in charge is delightful, even she prepared appropriate foof for my stomach desease. We stayed like at home. It is the kind of place we would like to find across India and that it is so difficult to find.

What i liked most about the homestay is Cleanliness. Bathroom was clean,room was clean and specious and last but not the least a very helping and friendly hostess.she was always there for us.i was travelling with my children and was worried but she made it easy for me.would love to visit again.

I am happy with my stay

The cleanliness of the property is very good. Breakfast (if asked for) provided were superb. Above all the behaviour of owner Sabita Lama is needed to be mentioned - she tried to arrange every need of the people staying at her place. She made good and healthy baby food for my toddler and it was the main concern of my choice of stay and I am satisfied.

The rooms we were staying was a bit smaller for staying longer - that was the only concern I had.

Excellent ambience, hospitality and facilities; felt like home, managed to have a clean view of Kanchenjunga from the room balcony and from terrace also. Homestay owner really made us feel at home and was very co-operative with everything. There are two ways to get to the Homestay from the Hotel Ramada point by foot, the one via Mall market to Dr Zakeer Hussain Road and other one via Hotel Ramada, I found the the Mall market road much more convenient. .

Host Sabita Lama seemed great. We found her behavior and caring vibes very heartwarming. She truly made our stay pleasant.

Hotel location (no goddamn transportation available at that uphill place), room size, facilities, balcony, washroom amenities and tools came unmatched with booking.com's advertised brochure.

Our room was very clean, the terrace with it's marvellous view was the perfect place to enjoy the landscape having breakfast (that was very good), the owner was so pleasing and kind and give us advice for visiting Darjeeling.

Homely , comfortable stay but challenging approach.

Great location. Secluded at a higher place than the mall so a bit nestled the natural beauty of the hills yet at walkable distance from the mall. Rooms are excellent,clean including bathrooms. We booked the 2 double bed rooms on the first floor which gave us access to the dining and living hall with two great balconies. Our hostess and owner Sabita Mam is really a lovely person. She also used to arrange food for our toddler which he loved very much. The terrace is fantastic with a great view of the mountains when the skies are clear.

The approach road from the lower area of the mall is extremely steep. Good luck to your knees climbing up. It is also very narrow so gets congested with traffic during peak hours. However there is a longer route to the central mall area which is 700 m stroll but more comfortable. It is new so felt a bit understaffed especially if you arrive in large group with various requests and lots of luggage. Im sure it will get better eventualy.

Wonderful stay at this highly recommended homestay. The hostess is a lovely, warm, polite and well educated lady who will make you feel at home. The room and private shower were super clean, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable supplied with a thick blanket, and It is centrally located five minutes walk from Clock Tower and The Mall (but do consider that it is uphill).
