About this house rental
Welcome to this recently renovated mid-century modern house in Sarasota which is in very close proximity to all the best that Sarasota has to offer! This is a sought-after location in South Gate, Sarasota which is very well-located to all of Sarasota's best local destinations!! Beaches, shopping, restaurants, and downtown Sarasota are very close by! You will love the spacious gathering space of the floor plan, as well as all of the modern and upgraded features. As you drive up to the property, you will notice the lush, tropical landscaping. There is a Tesla charger in the garage and use of the garage and EV charger is permitted with no additional cost. If you don't have a Tesla, you can bring an adapter to use on your other EV car (Tesla plug - to - your plug type). High Speed wireless 1000 Mbps (up/download) fiber optic internet. Grounds are maintained regularly.
Once you open the front door, you will notice that the house has all LVP flooring. The kitchen is fully appointed with all stainless steel appliances. Toaster, blender, microwave, and waffle maker are all provided. We include plates, dishes, glasses, and all pots and pans. The kitchen includes a K-Cup and Nespresso (original) espresso pod coffee makers. There is a whole-house water filtration system, as well as hard water filtration shower filter in the master bedroom. There is a new LG stackable washer/dryer in a separate laundry room.
This three bedroom property sleeps up to six people comfortably. There is a King bed in the Primary suite, Queen bed in a second bedroom, and a third bedroom includes a double bed with a pull-out optional twin-sized trundle bed. The king bedroom and kids room include TV's. In addition to all bedroom linens, the top comforters are laundered prior to your arrival. The bathrooms are updated and modern. The master bathroom has dual vanity and shower, and the second bathroom has single vanity and a shower / bathtub combo.
To the left of the house, there is a lanai and heated pool, all within a pool cage, which keeps the area clean and bug-free. The pool area and back of the house are completely surrounded by privacy fence. The pool is heated to 88 degrees, but will change temperature upon request. The pool is cleaned and maintained weekly. BBQ grill and accessories is included (propane gas grill) in screened in area for your cooking needs.
The location of the property is excellent. It is very close to the Siesta Key, downtown Sarasota, St. Armand's Circle, Lido Key, and the Legacy Trail. The large shopping area at University Town Center is approximately 15 minutes north. It is also close to the major interstate exits. Nearby we have Starbucks, Publix, and Trader Joe's! The property is amazing! Clean, private, and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is quiet. Once you’re in the house, it is completely private due to the landscaping. You are a short drive from Siesta Key, St. Armand’s Circle and many restaurants and stores.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The home was immaculately maintained and very well situated for us to enjoy many local attractions. We were excited to try some of the local eateries recommended by Eric and they did not disappoint. When we weren’t exploring the area, the quiet neighbourhood allowed for much needed relaxation around the pool in the lovely backyard oasis. Eric was very attentive to our needs and easy to communicate with. His dedication to the comfort of his guests and his desire to ensure guests enjoy their time at his property is readily apparent. We look forward to returning and enjoying this experience again!

An entire winter month out of the NYC cold with our “child” (who has 4 legs, barks and loves swimming, dog parks and Brohard. The house is beautiful, the heated pool perfect and the hosts friendly and attentive. Only (unimportant) “complaint” is that being Seniors, we’ve never “cut the cord” and wished there was cable instead of streaming on at least one of the 3 great TVs. But…we hope to return in ‘25!

This is a beautiful home and the host was great. Even thought we did not have nice weather, the screened in pool with comfortable furniture with nice backyard made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. We had our 2 fur babies who enjoyed running in the fenced in yard. Eric is very quick to respond and the house is beautiful. Will certainly keep this house on my list for my next vacation.

We purchased a home in Palmer Ranch but our closing was delayed. We’re doing a long term rental at Eric’s property. He and his wife couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. The house is immaculate. A/C works great. Nice clean showers and bathrooms and comfy beds. Built in caged pool and fenced in private yard is a huge plus. BBQ grill too. Nice clean comfy couches outside on the lanai. Whatever we needed the owners were immediately on it. Communication is beyond friendly and easy. Neighborhood is very family friendly and quiet. Great for sleeping! All the neighbors are friendly and helpful. Eric left a list of local restaurants to go to and everything is basically 5-10 minutes away. Siesta is so close. We go for gelato frequently. What could be a very stressful time for us has become a comforting home base until we close on our home. You will not be disappointed with this rental. Pool beach and everything needed to enjoy your stay. Cleaning products and a separate room with a washer dryer. So many great products were there for us upon arrival along with Haagen Daas ice cream, cones and cinnamon rolls for us to enjoy. Plenty of linens and beach/ pool towels. We even have use of the 2 car garage. Honestly we couldn’t ask for more. This is a must stay property!

We are a regular couple that like to travel , I would like to rate place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an short drive to all the beaches we wanted to visit. Also close to a big supermarket which was handy, and few miles to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful place. Thank you so much for the baby gift ;) very thoughtful . Would stay again .

The location is fantastic, very close to lots of shopping and restaurants. We loved the mid century decor, the bright open concept of the main living area, the outdoor space and the comfy beds. So much attention to details and wonderful hospitality!! Our family really enjoyed our stay at the house. The pool was perfectly warm for our kids to enjoy! There were several times we needed help from the host and they were overall quick to respond and easy to work with! We found some pet hair upon arrival so cleanliness could have been a bit better. Would definitely recommend! The house is a completely updated and tastefully decorated mid-century modern in what looks like a safe middle income neighborhood. The location is perfect for short drives into downtown Sarasota, beaches, and other attractions - as well as excursions to the surrounding area. The home is sunny and bright, immaculate, comfortable and welcoming, thoughtfully appointed with amenities including coffees, shampoos, utensils, cleaning & storage products, etc. Huge new TV in the living room, TV in two of the three bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. The fenced in yard and pool area offer plenty of privacy and relaxation, with just a modest/occasional level of noise from the road, which is a connector between two main roads. (The neighborhood is very walkable, though.) Eric was extremely responsive and proactive in making sure all our needs were met.

Overall this was a very nice house, and our relations with Eric were great. There were a couple of items that weren't there, and he got them immediately. The only problem was the pool heater, which went out our second week and was still not fixed when we had to leave (because my wife became ill) at the end of our fourth week. We don't blame Eric because he tried, but the pool people could not seem to get their act together.

Large beautifully designed & decorated “beach” home. Heated Pool & outdoor space is tranquil. Neighborhood is quiet . Close to major highways, hospitals, shopping centers and tons of restaurants. Hosts were ahhhhmazing; friendly, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond to make stay enjoyable. Tons of appliances, utensils, etc. that are easy to use and readily available. Highly recommend.
