We had a great time at the lake house but felt there could be some improvements. The dock had a lot of nails coming up and some broken/rotted wood which worried us with the kids. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms and next to no dish soap in the kitchen.

Wonderful place to relax. The house was clean, large rooms, comfortable beds. All rooms had a tv. Kitchen was large, clean, with modern appliances. The mere was also an upstairs/downstairs thermostat, which kept the place cool during the warmer hours of the day. The hosts were very communicative and responded to messages in a timely manner. We didn’t swim or use the kayaks, but saw others doing so. Warning, the water is o oh 3 ft by the dock, not great for diving, but perfect for kids! We had visits from 2 different neighbors while relaxing by the fire pit. They were super friendly and willing to help in any way needed. Great restaurants near by, as well as a dirt racetrack on the weekends, bowling, and other activities that you’d find in a mid-size town. Overall, awesome place to unwind, and take in the views of the lake.

We had a large group of 12 people for a local competition, and this house was the perfect spot to keep us all together under one roof for the weekend. The lake wasn't deep enough to swim in, but that wasn't the focus of the trip anyway. We took advantage of the outdoor space and grills for the whole stay and the kitchen space was well stocked for feeding our group. Would stay again!

Kitchen was well stocked. The dock being covered was good to help with heat. Could have been a little more neat in yard. Our family enjoyed our stay.

This place is in a quiet, blue-collar neighborhood on Lake Greenwood in a really shallow, muddy bay (you can walk half way across the bay without going more than waste deep in water). The pros of the place: 1) It was very quiet - neighbors are close, but they weren't around. 2) The home has plenty of room for a large crowd to stay. 3) The inside of the home was clean and it was clear the owner had spent some money upgrading some things recently. 4) Overall despite the negatives below, we felt that the cost for a one-week rental wasn't bad for what we got. I'm going to give the negatives as I believe with just a little more attention this could be a 5-star place. They are the following: 1) A/C units were very old and had difficulty keeping the house cooled during hot June stay. 2) Exterior of the house was in dire need of a washing. Spider webs, leaves, and wasp nests everywhere. 3) Outdoor fire pit area not maintained. Bare wires, filthy appliances and sink. Same with dock area. 4) Kayaks and life jackets were on the ground under trees and covered in bird poop. 5) We had to go to the store to buy our own bathroom tissue, paper towel and trash bags. We would have expected a supply would have been at the house. 6) A box fan was running in a window in an inaccessible 2nd floor room the whole time we were there which was noisy. 7) We had to wait a while to get in as the keyless entry system was inoperable.

We were a group of 8 senior ladies playing in a golf tournament at the Links at Stoney Point. The golf course was very easily accessible from this house -17 minutes. We found the house very, very clean and well appointed for our needs. Since it had 6 bedrooms, there were enough beds - only two of us had to share a king bed. And there were 2 1/2 baths downstairs and 1 1/2 upstairs. It appeared that all the appliances were brand new. There was a wonderful large table in the dining room that easily seated all 8 of us. And a large comfortable sofa in the great room. We loved relaxing at the fire pit area looking out at the lake. The owner was thoughtful enough to put out four more chairs there to accommodate our group. We rocked in the chairs on the back porch. We didn’t have a chance to use the kayaks but they were available. There was plenty of easy, no problem, parking for our 6 vehicles- golf buddies from six different towns. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions. We did ask about the locations of restaurants and the owner responded in a very timely manner. Then we found the informative notebook which listed eating places and their menus. Also information for things to do in the area. We definitely would stay here again!!

Our family rented here for Memorial Day weekend and had a terrific time. Hilary was a dream to work with, the yard was great for games, the dock provided hours of swim time for all of our grandchildren, and fire pit was awesome for hanging out and roasting s’mores. Great property for a great time. We will be back!
