Super!!

De rust die er heerst, de vriendelijke uitbaters waren geweldig! Het restaurant is super lekker en uitgebreid. Lekker cocktails ook 😋😄 je kan een scooter huren bij hen en dat is wel aan te raden. Het zwembad was super proper en verfrissend, zout in plaats van de chloor. Super gewoon! Ché en Miranda zijn geweldige mensen en helpen overal bij waar het mogelijk is. Een aanrader wanneer je in Koh samui verblijd ❤️

Schöner kann man nicht Urlaub machen!

Wir sind für die letzte Nacht auf den Inseln bewusst nochmals ins PawPaw Resort gefahren, weil dies mit Abstand unsere schönste Unterkunft in drei Wochen Urlaub war und wir die letzte Nacht nochmals bei Martina und Ché verbringen wollten! Es gibt aus meiner Sicht keine Verbesserungsvorschläge, schöner als hier kann man einfach nicht wohnen! Wir werden die tollen Tage vermissen und hoffen, in nicht allzu langer Zeit wieder im PawPaw Resort sein zu können, dann aber mindestens eine Woche!

Oaza spokoju

Piękne domki, czyściutkie, z ładnym widokiem na ogród lub morze (w pewnej odległości). Znajduje się niedaleko piaszczystej plaży z fajnym barem. Kawałek dalej cudne masaże z widokiem na morze. Na miejscu bardzo czysty basen. Rewelacyjna klimatyzacja. Hotel mimo że jest trochę na uboczu , nie utrudnia zwiedzania-wszędzie jest blisko:-)

Konieczność dolewania sobie wody we własnym zakresie w recepcji tylko do szklanych butelek. My mieliśmy własne plastikowe na wycieczki i nie można ich było uzupełniać lub za opłatą. Wejście po stromych schodach w upale było zbyt wyczerpujące , by biegać góra dół z butelką. Według mnie woda w szklanych butelkach-bo promują eco, powinna być codziennie uzupełniana przez obsługę , tym bardziej, że kuchnie są na zewnątrz.

Good but could be even better

Nice place in natural environment, right next to the beach with a small very nice restaurant.

The man at the frontdesk was just plane rude. Maybe he had a bad week or a lot of stress otherwise I would say he is not the right man for the hospitality business. The woman was nice as long ng as the man was not around.

Onwijs genoten van deze rustige plek op het drukke Koh Samui

De heerlijk rustige ligging icm een superleuk strand met kleine strandbar en lekker eten om de hoek. Hier vandaan kan je met een scooter prima het eiland verkennen maar hoef je niet in de drukte te verblijven.

Ruhige Lage in einem „ Dschungel „ :-) Sehr nette Gastgeber, kümmern sich um alles. Garten gepflegt und die Vögel singen immer Lied.

Unser gewähltes Zimmer war leider etwas zu klein.

Disappointing

The nature, the pool

We had a good stay because we decided to, but the owners are very arrogeant (that for sure a difference we noticed compared with hotels owned by locals), I saw the previous comments and the owner respond confirm each time that they can’t take a constructive review… It’s the first time I see a hotel with rules that make you feel uncomfortable (ex. No bottled water inside which is good, but they make you pay for the same water you can bring to your room just because you are in the restaurant is kind of weird…) they also never told us that the ocean view room is so far away and up the hill with too many stairs (we have two little ones) and no one helped us with the luggage or even offered to… so if you are ok with a “help yourself” hotel and the stairs don’t bother you then you’re good Also you can’t really enjoy the beautiful pool because of the mosquitoes The bathroom is not well equipped, no shower curtain to keep the water from goin everywhere. In the dressing closet you can’t organize your clothes because there is no shelves. For us the restaurant prices were ridiculously expensive compared with other restaurants nearby, of course they are practicing those prices because if you don’t have a car or a motorbike you don’t really have a choice ! The hotel is isolated which can be good if you look for a very quiet place.

relaxing stay & wonderful people

We really enjoyed our time at the pawpaw resort. We were welcomed by a very kind and attentive team, who had great recommendations for activities. Our room was very clean and well equipped. Also it was very convenient that we could fill up our drinking water at the reception. The food at the polepole restaurant, that is part of the resort, is amazing! There is a beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees, perfect for a relaxing swim. We hope to come again soon, thank you for a wonderful time!!

Felt very welcome from the off, really friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool and accommodation.

Really clean, shower, fridge and kitchen sink available. Spacious bathroom and lovely shower.

Wonderful place to take a break from the hustle and bustle

Good kitchen, nice staff, calm place to chill.

A bit strange staff, they were very worried that we wouldn't return their knife and never give fork/spoon from kitchen. :)

Wonderful quiet resort

Beautiful resort, great restaurant. Gigantic bungalow, quiet location, beautiful pool.

Limited restaurant hours BUT the chef is the proprietor and he has to run the entire resort. The resort is far from town, the docks, and the airport. This is good as well however because it is a tranquil location.

We had an amazing time!!!

The bungalows were big but still cozy. The pool is beautiful and the view is amazing. the staff was friendly, helpful und sweet with the kids. The beach is small and with the most beautiful bar (Cool Bar) on it. We love everything! We book for a week but actually stayed for 12 days.

The menu at the restaurant could have a few more meals for kids.

Resort with potential but a lot of room to grow

A few stains in our bed sheets (which didn't bother us too much tough) But mostly how unwelcoming und rude the owners were and the communication with them in general E.g. there is a late check in fee after 11 pm. So it would have been nice to get a heads up on this as we told them that our flight arrives at 10 pm. When we brought this up they told us we should have used their pick up option from the air port so we would have arrived before 11pm.

The resort tries to avoid plastics, which is pretty exceptional in Thailand. You can see wonderful birds, animals, plants and trees on the property. It is close to a patch on the beach from where you can watch the sun rise.

Sullen reception staff, resort offers just the barest of amenities.

The location was close to the beach. The pool area is nice for sun bathing. There’s a couple of inexpensive spas nearby and a luxury one right up the hill. The calls of nature in the morning is nice.

The way the property handled complaints that went through Booking was the biggest issue for me overall. One of the owners stated (I quote) that I am “opening a can of worms” for a while with Booking. From my perspective, I felt I was getting blamed and that my complaints were not justified or received in a way to better the resort in the future. There was an excuse for everything- even the frog and worm in my room during a shower shortly after check-in. I don’t mind animals though, but I was shocked to find it so soon after a check-in. As another person has stated, tidying up the pool area and making it more comfortable would be nice especially since relaxing is the main focus here.

Perfect getaway for an escape near the beach!

LOVED this property. Perfect if you are looking for an escape from crowded touristy town, I stayed for a few days to recover from solo traveling. The couple who runs it are incredibly kind and accommodating, and also are chefs who operate the Pole Pole restaurant. Some of the best food I’ve had during my entire time traveling in Thailand.

Great resort, highly recommend!

This is such a lovely place to stay! The setting is beautifully rural & the English speaking hosts are beyond accommodating. The pool is lovely & there’s a small beach with a bar 2 minutes walk away. Would recommend hiring a scooter to get to local restaurants/ bars & attractions.
