Had a lovely time in Frome - my hosts were very friendly and room was lovely and quiet

Location was right in the centre of Frome close to all shops, restaurants, busses and trains

Superb

Location was excellent. Room and bathroom were of a good size and full of character. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Amenities were good with toiletries and a small fridge with bottled water.

Fabric chair in bathroom was a little dusty.

Beautiful home owned by lovely people!

The top floor had a historic flair. The bathroom was full of character (the bath tub was lovely!) and the bedroom was so cosy and comfortable, overlooking the church. It’s in a really pretty area with independent shops and restaurants. The bedroom was equipped with a mini fridge and beverages, hair dryer, hot water bottle and some books. I wish I slept in longer! The hosts are lovely and so are their little doggies!! I’d love to come back here if I’m visiting the area again. Thank you for accommodating me!

Lovely for a short break

Interesting characterful house (though you will bang your head, guaranteed!) Very comfy bed and cosy room. Nice to have tea/coffee/milk in the room. Location is excellent though there is some pub noise opposite at turning out time (and drunk people of course!). But the general area is lovely. House owners are very friendly and welcoming.

We missed a TV in the room and didn't realise there wasn't one. Our fault for missing that in the description (because everywhere always has a TV I guess!). Just would have been nice in the evening when you come 'home'. Also we didn't realise that we were actually sharing the home of the owners; this wasn't entirely clear on the Booking.com site. They were really nice people, and super helpful, but it wasn't quite what we were looking for in a break away. Again, maybe our fault for not understanding the detail in the description (I think it referred to a "homestay") so just to be aware, as this might not be right for everyone. We felt it was quite pricey per night considering there is no TV, no shower (only a bath - lovely as it is) and no parking (unless you pay extra or have a bit of a walk). But we did enjoy our stay overall and these issues are only personal to us!

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation in best location. Very friendly hosts. The bath is just the bees knees!

Can't think of anything....the only thing I didn't like was the fact of the holiday ending...

Friendly, happy stay in family home

- Very friendly couple with a pair of adorable dogs. - Good communication to arrange meeting. - Tea and coffee facilities in the room and cold water which was great - Super location in town centre Comfy bed

- As stated you had to pay for parking, which was fine but with the markets it meant moving the car a little but always spaces to be found - the upper floor was spacious but those looking for privacy may not like the lack of lock on bedroom door. We enjoyed being part of the family home but this may not be to everyone’s taste

Fantastic WE break.

Great welcome. Wonderful location to explore. Station only a short walk with good connections to Bath. Frome lovely. Saturday market worth a look.

Very comfortable stay in the heart of Frome

Really enjoyed staying there. The location is amazing and so central to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. I was very comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and relaxed. No complaints from me :)

There is nothing about the place that I could say that I did not like.

fantastic place to stay in the heart of Frome. All amenities on your doorstep in this beautiful market village. unique Tudor accommodation is full of character and great relaxed hosts. I would recommend pizza in the cheese and grain and wondering the quaint village also 35mins drive to Stonehenge and Bath close by.

Best spot in Frome

Absolutely loved the old charm and character of the Old Church House. Freddie and Liz were gracious hosts and the village itself is so unique.

Pretty cold but that's to be expected in an old house in January.

Quiet room with incredible view

Privacy was really good, we had all the top floor for us. Room was really quiet as the street was only for pedestrians . Views from the room were really nice (church courtyard from the bedroom and roofs from the bathroom). We also appreciate the freedom of entering-leaving the house when we wanted.

Reception rooms were a little bit messy as they are doing some works at the house. We were a little bit puzzle when we arrived, nevertheless this mess was not were we were staying or in the staircase.

Comfortable, quaint, and very homely, a perfect little break!

The location was beautiful, the hosts Freddie and Liz were absolutely wonderful and made me and Hollie feel very welcome from the minute we came through the front door, you won’t regret staying, brilliant hosts!
