De service is echt geweldig er waren werkzaamheden aan het zwembad doch het hotel had voor een super vervanging ‘s plekje gekozen . Werd op elk moment opgehaald en teruggebracht zonder extra kosten . Het personeel doet er dan ook alles aan om een optimale service te geven . Reeds mijn 4 e verblijf dus dar zegt genoeg denk ik

All the benefits of the Winter Palace.

Great location with rooms overlooking the gardens of the Winter Palace. Quiet, tranquil atmosphere and rooms away from the hustle and bustle of the corniche and West Bank of the Nile. Well priced at a fraction of the cost of the main Winter Palace but access to all the same facilities .

The rooms could do with updating and the communal hall/corridor ways require better AC, but in general very good. Lack of an indoor daytime restaurant that offers respite from the summer heat. Room aces ket entry was dated and frequently malfunctioned but minor issues.

Best place to stay in luxor

The staff was very warm, especially the one at the evening who helped us check inn (sadly I don't know his name, please whoever, is reading this at the hotel, give our warmest regards to him,he is the best employee PAVILLON has got)

The only problem we had was with the flush in the toilet, please before handing over the room key to the guest, do a check and then handover the keys

Un jardin luxuriant dans un décor Victorien

L’hôtel est sublime ainsi que les chambres avec vue sur le jardin. L’enregistrement est rapide. Le personnel de l’accueil est courtois et gentil. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours. La piscine est chauffée. Il vaut mieux attendre vers 11h pour nager en Hiver. L’endroit est calme avec le chant des oiseaux. C’est très reposant avec des bancs répartis dans l’ensemble du jardin. Il existe même une petite voilliere et une fontaine à l’anglaise. Vous avez le choix entre le buffet oriental et les deux restaurants à la carte. Nous avons essayé les deux. Personnellement, nous avions préféré ceux à la carte plus romantique. Notre vol était tardif. L’accueil a eu la gentillesse de nous laisser profiter des loisirs de l’hôtel avec nos bagages laissés en consigne. L’hôtel se trouve en face du Nil et à deux pas du souk (bazar); agréable le soir pour une balade le long du Nil. Une petite remarque, il manque dans la salle de bain, les accessoires comme les cotons tiges, charlotte, … Le petit-déjeuner est copieux.

This is the place to stay if you are traveling to Luxor, Egypt.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Great location, beautiful gardens, lovely pool, friendly staff and a really good breakfast. What’s not to like?

Rooms could use a bit of updating but that didn’t bother me at all.

A memorable stay in Luxor

The hotel has a beautiful green garden, with even flamingos strolling through in the early hours. It truly was a sight to behold and created a serene atmosphere that provided a much-needed escape from the bustling city nearby. Paradise vibes could also be felt at the hotel's pool. The breakfast served in the garden was the best breakfast we had during our entire trip in Egypt. A wide variety of options, including lots of fresh fruits and a chef who prepared delicious pancakes and omelets. The staff members were friendly and attentive. When we encountered a disturbance from the neighboring room in the middle of the night, the staff resolved the issue immediately.

The absence of air conditioning in the room was a considerable disappointment. Although some ventilation was present, it did little to combat the extreme heat. This lack of cold air significantly impacted our ability to relax, especially during the sweltering nights.

Great hotel but missed some of the basics.

Beautiful gardens to walk around in. Handy location. Rooms were lovely. Staff who cleaned rooms were very friendly and helpful.

The property advertised that they had tea and coffee in rooms but when we got there none of our rooms had them. Had to contact reception multiple times to get a kettle. Got kettle but no coffee. No iron either in room, didn’t bother to call them because I was frustrated already. Missed the basics.

Oase der Ruhe mit Top-Lage zum Nil und Luxor-Tempel

Das Hotel Winter Pavillon ist eine Oase der Ruhe mitten in Luxor, umgeben von einem wunderschönen gepflegten Garten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und verfügen alle über einen Balkon mit Blick in den Garten - der Lärm der Stadt bleibt draußen. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dies hat uns aber nicht gestört, denn alles war sauber und hat gut funktioniert. Die Lage ist top: sehr nah am Nil mit der Corniche, der Luxor-Tempel ist fußläufig zu erreichen, genauso wie die Altstadt. Die Einrichtungen des Winter Pavillon und des Winter-Palace Hotels können gemeinsam genutzt werden, wie Pool und Pool-Restaurant, aber auch die altenglische Bar im Winter-Palace Hotel. Für einen Aufenthalt in Luxor würde ich wieder im Winter-Pavillon-Hotel übernachten - kann das Hotel zu 100% empfehlen.

Es wäre schön gewesen, im Zimmer einen Wasserkocher zu haben. Allgemein fand ich das Essen in den Restaurants etwas fade für meinen Geschmack.

庭が広くてクリスマスの時期だったので光のイルミネーションやオブジェがとても綺麗だった。ガーデンビューでバルコニーにもソファーがあってくつろげます。広い広い屋外プールは12月でしたが温水が出ていてまだ泳ぐ事が出来ました。部屋番号で貸し出しスタッフがマットとタオルをセットしてくれます。プールに多くの鳥が水浴びしたり水を飲みに来て小鳥の囀りと花や木々に癒されます。サンデッキで日を浴びたりプールバーで食事も出来ます。朝夕食付きのプランにしたのですがソフィテルの本館のレストランでコースと庭園の屋外バーベキューレストランの両方選択出来両方ともに行きました。別料金で来ると1人60ドルと飲み物別料金だったのでホテルで食事を考えているなら夕食付けるのもお得だと思います。バーベキューレストランは1日目は私達だけの貸し切り状態でした。ホテルの周囲は沢山レストランが有るので食事には困らないと思います。ルクソール神殿が徒歩で近くのバザールも歩けます。ルクソール駅も近くにあります。 3日間の滞在でしたが次はもっと長く滞在したいと思うリラックス出来る空間でした。

部屋にお茶セットは無いです。お茶やコーヒーは4ドル位。外のマクドナルドでお茶やコーヒーが1〜2ドルでした。ワインは70ドルからビールは7ドルからとお酒は凄く高いです。近くのお酒を売ってる店で同じエジプトビールは2ドルしないくらいでした。

Comfortable central Luxor stay!!

I enjoyed the beauty of this property, with the gardens and pool being wonderful. It’s location is great being so close to the Nile and the temples in Luxor.

This hotel was a bit worn down. The shower was a particularly backwards design and some furniture and carpets were clearly old and unloved. I think having been able to walk around the Winter Palace itself puts the Pavillon at difficult odds as this hotel was certainly good and the experience worth it, however it falls short visually.

Clean and very spacious rooms. Beautiful pool area. I was in Luxor to rest and visit friends and requested a quiet room in advance, with no families or children above or next to my room and that is exactly what they provided. Because of this excellent service and attention I will return to the Pavillon.

Room service staff was always excellent but the late night food was mediocre.

My most favorite hotel ever, loved it!

it was so idyllic to be next to a beautiful garden. so nice to rest by the pool on such nice lounge chairs and have refreshing drinks there. loved the view from our room and relaxing on the balcony on such a comfy sofa. rooms were spacious and bathroom was wonderful. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at! I will always treasure my memories there!

Disappointing, unclean and run down.

The location, yet it wasn't on the Nile

This is possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in across 75 countries and lots of travel. So disappointing on every level. The service - this was poor in every aspect from arrival, around the property and through to departure. The manager was particularly rude. The pool area - this requires maintenance. The tiles were cracked and broken inside and outside the pool. Very under loved. Also not child friendly at all, if you have young children it isn't a place they can comfortably enjoy. The food - half board is a formal meal with two choices. The food is trying to be fine dining but fails and is slick with oil. The room service options and pool side terrace food is uninspiring and tasteless. The rooms - are unclean and require updating. The whole hotel requires an upgrade and is not a five star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.

Oasis in Luxor

After traveling in Egypt for several weeks, it was nice to have a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. And after a day of sightseeing, relaxing by the pool was a welcome relief. We ordered food from the pool restaurant several times and we felt it was priced reasonably for the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was also outstanding with a lot of variety.
