Supremely comfortable accommodation in a stunning setting.

Beautiful location overlooking Lake Rotorua. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and wandering the lovely garden. The big bonus was the fire in our room which made the property so cosy, and we loved the hot tub after a busy and freezing day doing activities in Rotorua. Rowena and her team are doing a fantastic job of managing this property.

If anything, the decor is a bit dated, however this didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay.We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Beautiful location with lake view . Charming modern Victorian style. Excellent service and delicious small restaurant only for hotel guests . It feels like you are home ! Really a great and unique place to stay

Lovely room and location, good breakfast choice and friendly staff. let down by outside areas

Location and room very nice. Staff also excellent. Gardens were lovely

Outside areas including furniture needed some attention as were grubby and broken in places. Swimming pool had seen better days with water looking green and floor covered in leaves / dirt. Spa tubs also not very clean.

Very different experience, peaceful with great views, have already recommended to friends.

Very peaceful location, beautiful setting - good to be out of the hustle and bustle of Rotorua. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully cooked. The service was attentive and friendly throughout.

The swimming pool was cold and univiting. There was no bar or restuarant for evening food.

bathroom was divided into 3, sink in the bedroom, shower only separated by glass door from bedroom with very poor drain system, toilet was small and completely separated from the bedroom

Amazing location, beautifully decorated rooms and very friendly attentive staff.

just one small thing was the walls are quite thin and at times we could hear guests in adjoining rooms, but overall this didn’t change the fact that we loved this hotel.

Overall it was a pleasant and relaxing spot for a 2 night stay.

Breakfast was adequate. Nice host. Beautiful grounds on lakeside made for an enjoyable stay. A wee hideaway for a special occasion.

Cold room when we arrived. Heatpump wasn't giving out enough heat. My husband discovered heatpump filter was extremely dirty, so cleaned them in bathroom basin which made a huge difference. Disappointing.

Peace and serenity away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautifully, peaceful boutique hotel. Kym was very welcoming from the moment we parked our car. She was accomodating, polite, hard working and made us feel right at home. Photos do not do it justice.

Car parking is a little tricky with an oversized car, especially with a full house, but no big deal.

Peefect little hotel on the lake

The hotel manager was amazing and friendly and actually showed us around the place. Breakfast was so delicious and you get treated so well. Actually had the best jacuzzi I ever tried. Very homey hotel specially the main building.

Relaxation, peaceful and very comfortable Hotel

Located on a glorious Lake set in beautiful gardens. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was so cosy wand comfortable. I cannot fault this lovely Boutique Hotel.

An enjoyable 3 day stay and a birthday to be remembered

We really enjoyed the view of the lake and our room was lovely, having its own fireplace and lake view. We also found the manager Kym most helpful. She made us feel at home, gave recommendations of things to do and made an amazing breakfast that my husband loved. We were the only guests and it was my husbands 50th -Kym treated us so well.

The heating in the lobby was too hot. The manager Kym had the day off and when she wasn’t there the music in the lobby played all night and the level of service dropped.

Great stay, Lovely service

I love the service very much. Duty Manager, Kym, is very helpful all time She rang me before and tell us the room we booked were under renovation so she moved us to a better room with more space and facilities. Then, we have been told the chef was away so she will need to cook breakfast for guests. Guess what, turn out the breakfast was tasted very good..

There is no USB PORT in the room luckily I got 1 charger with me, so we can share it between 3 devices.

Magical

The location is beautiful, amazing view of the lake, with really good food and outstanding service. The privacy and beauty of the place exceed my expectations. Kym the hotel manager was wonderful
