The main/master bedroom has a queen size bed with smart flat screen and air conditioner with direct access to large deck for coffee in the morning or dinner before stepping out on the town. The other bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed,smart flat screen and air conditioning ,Cedar Sweets will accommodate four guest comfortably .The relaxing living room is furnished with large smart flat,two comfortable chairs and leather couch with a fireplace for those cozy nights. There is Wi-Fi and Alexa for your relaxing inside time. The kitchen is perfect for dining and it is fully equipped with filtered Mr.Coffee, plates,tableware and cookware provided for most of your cooking needs .The mudroom has a stacked washer and dyer and laundry soap.
The beautiful back yard has a gas grill and burn pit with four Adirondack chairs for those nights under the stars in a very private setting.Along with some of the most delicious Bartlett pears ( if you’re there in season).
Cedar Sweets is located 1 block from the beach, public boat launch,and Lexington's Friday night free concerts in our beautiful waterfront park, Walking distance to downtown Lexington, ( 1/2 block) restaurants, winery, shops, Pub, Village Theater, Salons,art shows and Churches.

Have stayed there many times and have never been disappointed.

Very nice and clean cottage in an excellent location! It was somewhat tight for the three adults but we managed. It’s perfect for the two mature adults and I know I’ll be back next year with another friend.
My only suggestion is to add a small coffee table to the living room so one has a place to put down the phone or a TV control.
The property manager Terry was very pleasant and helped us immediately with a couple of requests we had. He was a pleasure to work with!

We love staying here for our third year wedding anniversary. Everything was in walking distance in the cute little Village. We loved how everything was set up and we had our own private deck. This was the best anniversary stay we have had so far. Terry even help me set up a surprise for my husband by putting rose petals in a shape of a heart with our wine that we drink at our wedding. Exactly what I hoped for!

My family and I (husband and two young kids, ages 10 and 7) took a recent trip to Lexington for the long holiday weekend. Not only was the cabin in an excellent location, but it was beautifully upkept and clean. Everything was exactly as described. Terry, our host, was one of the most kind and considerate hosts we have come across in our 4 yrs of vrbo traveling. There was a parade in the area on the day we were meant to leave; Terry was kind enough to offer us a late checkout so that our children wouldn't have to miss the parade. It was the first parade they've ever had the chance to see in person, and they loved it! Thanks to Terry's generosity, we had the perfect ending to our vacation. We would love to make this a yearly getaway. Highly recommend this home, town and host.

The property itself was excellent - very well presented, very clean, and accurate to the photos.
You can't beat the location - the town and beach are both two blocks away.
And the owner was a pleasure to deal with - very flexible with check-in and check-out, very helpful, and very communicative.
We wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again.

Excellent communication with property owners. Due to circumstances, we were offered an early check-in and a late check-out. We loved the area as it is handy to the marina, beach, and town. We especially liked the "small town" feel of Lexington.

Terry was very generous in accommodating us on our stay. We needed to get in early to get ready for my daughters wedding and he went he went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage was very clean and neat and so close and convenient to all the action in Lexington so the day after the wedding we were able to kick back and relax. I would most definitely stay there again. Thank you again Terry you were awesome. We so enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom's a little small. Can't do anything about that, however a few amenities would be helpful. A handheld spray attachment to the shower head. A tub grab bar for seniors. Our last visit had a bidet installed on the toilet. If nothing else, your toilet paper cost saving would pay for itself. Obviously, the kitchen is tight but if you raise the microwave just below the cabinets by installing a 12" shelf, you can gain counter space. The coffee maker can be right under it. Next the living can't have to much clutter, but a couple of folding TV trays would have been handy. Last but not least is the bedrooms. I completely understand why there's no chests. Would be a problem getting around. When I was shopping at Dollar General, I saw some small plastic three drawer chests that would be enough to store underwear, socks etc. $15. I've tried to suggest things that our doable and wouldn't break the bank.

Cedar Sweets is a cute cottage that was within walking distance to everything! It was close to the theatre, Tierney Park, the water, shops, and places to eat. The host was very responsive and we could not have asked for anything more! Thank you Terry!

Cedar Sweets has all the accomodations you need for a perfect retreat! Cabin is clean and cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. There was always a nice breeze coming in from the lake which is lovely. The Village and beach are in walking distance if you want to dine out and shop. I recommend walks on the beach and walks on the pier. And....the Lava Cake at the Windjammer is amazing! Love at first bite!
Also- Kudos to Terry who is the best at communicating with his guests and creating a wonderful welcoming environment! Thanks for the memories!

Clean and well appointed with all the comforts of home. The backyard is just so inviting and welcoming.
Property owner(host) was available if needed and reached out mid stay to check in on us. He really cares and wants every guest to feel free to contact him with any questions or concerns. We will definitely be back!

This is a charming cottage. We loved the location, and we were super impressed with how thoughtfully appointed the cottage is. We visit the area regularly, and this is by far the best rental we have ever had in the Lexington area. We recommend the property without reservation.

This is the cutest little cabin EVER. Upon entering all you could smell was clean. The cleanliness and accommodations were top notch. Close to everything, close to the lake, stores and restaurants. My husband and I were there for our 35th anniversary and could not have picked a better place. Cedar Sweets is going to be a yearly go to!! Fantastic and Terry is fantastic as well. Better than ANY hotel we have ever stayed in.
