Smoky Mountain Cabin, unit 108 Katies Lodge, is the is the premiere multi-story cabin that is perfect for large groups looking to spread out and be near the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Katies Lodge is a beautiful newly redecorated cabin that has it all and features six private bedrooms, one loft bedroom, six full baths, two whirlpool tubs, a hot tub, and three easy-light gas fireplaces. If you are looking to get away with the family to the Smoky Mountains, and let everyone have their own space, then look no further because Katies Lodge is the cabin that you have been looking for.
When you enter the cabin, you walk into the gathering area with both the kitchen and the dining room for Katies Lodge. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, 2 large coffee makers with both coffee pots and k-cup makers, a drink fridge, a kitchen island with 3 bar stools, and loads of extra kitchen appliances for you to use. Just on the other side of the stone wall is the dining room that has two natural log dining tables with seating for up to 16, 2 cloth chairs, a stone encased easy lighting gas fireplace, and a 70-inch smart TV where you and your family can stream your favorite shows while dining together. There are also 2 bedrooms located on this level, both with private bathrooms, queen size beds, in-room whirlpool tubs, and 50-inch flat screen TVs. The main level also features a large covered back deck with everything one would need for a great family cookout all while taking in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. This deck features a gas grill, picnic table, rocking chairs, a swing, benches, and a hot tub where you can soak after a long day hiking.
When you go to the lower level of the cabin, you enter the game room and the ideal area for everyone to gather and enjoy spending time together. This game room features a pool table, leather couch, leather love seat, drink station, card table, motorcycle bar, and an 85-inch smart TV with surround sound. There are also two bedrooms downstairs and is the ideal area for kids. The first bedroom comes with a king size bed, 2 nightstands, a 43-inch flat screen TV, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom on this level comes with a set of full-size triple bunk beds, 43-inch flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The lower level also features the second of the three covered decks which comes with 5 rocking chairs, a bench, and beautiful mountain views.
If you go upstairs from the main level, you reach the best area to gather and relax. This floor features a large leather sectional couch with recliners on both ends, a cocktail style multi-cade machine, a 70-inch flat screen TV, floor to ceiling windows, and a stone encased seasonal gas fireplace. On the other side of the stone fireplace, there is a sitting area that is ideal to sit back and read your favorite book. Here you will find a leather sleeper sofa, a leather love seat with two recliners, and a second easy light seasonal gas log fireplace. There are two additional bedrooms on this level as well, each with king size bed, 43-inch flat screen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. This level also has a high peak covered back deck with 5 rocking chairs. Just upstairs from this level is the open loft fourth floor that has an additional open loft bedroom with queen size bed.

The cabin was amazing. Perfect get away for the family. Plenty of space for all ages of people. And the view... The view was outstanding

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It had plenty of space to spread out and play games and hang out with the family. The decks were great and also having a bathroom in each bedroom. The only thing I would suggest is going through the kitchen cabinets and doing a thorough cleaning of all the stuff because there were several things that we had to rewash during our stay before we used them. Other than that, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

Love spending time with all the Kids and Grands. This Cabin is huge, very clean, absolutely beautiful. We had a Mama Bear and 3 cubs take a stroll thru the front yard. This cabin is amazing and absolutely the best price around for 6 bedroom- 6 Bath!!! WE Definitely will be back to this cabin, the best we have ever rented!!

Good location, but the checkin process wasn’t nice. The security guard on the gate was very rude even though he had our car’s and driver’s information.

Overall, the stay was nice. There was enough space to accommodate our family of 18, which initially was supposed to be 15. The views were amazing.The staff was very friendly and responsive. Kelly checked in with me regularly.
The cons were steep driveway and a mouse was in the house, which had droppings in certain areas upon arriving. We purchased traps, although I'm not sure if we caught it or not.

there was a leak downstairs - called - someone came out - said they fixed it - but did not -they did not Shopvac or vacuum up water in the floor which was saturated. There was no follow-up call. There was a musty damp smell downstairs. Due to the weak we were unable to use the laundry room downstairs. And the water leak was near the kid's room bunkbed (5-year-old) so I had to constantly clean their feet and remind them not to step in the wet area of carpet. The carpet was not only dirty it was nasty. The kitchen cabinet doors and drawers felt like they were loose and about to come off the hinges. the hot tub took forever to heat up and only one set of jets worked. When I discussed the matter with Fireside they basically indicated the rate was so cheap - so, therefore, I became upset due to them indicating since I booked a cheap rate, I should endure the issues. I was not happy. I will not choose Fireside Chatelets in the future. Also, I got emails form VRBO, Fireside Chatelets and Bark something guard shack. It was too much - 3 different sets of emails. I stay in BNB/s often. This by far has been the worst experience. a personal score 3 out of 10.

We thoroughly enjoyed Katie’s Cabin. The drive way to the house is a challenge but doable. The location was great. It was close enough to visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with a short drive. The property was spacious enough for 3-4 families. Maintenance was onsite for the few issues we had which were nothing major. There were tons of cooking supplies and a whole extra fridge for drinks. We made a lot of meals so that was nice. The hot tub is a little dated but it functioned well. The kids loved the pool table. It could use a few new pool sticks though as they were pretty bad. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend this house.

Chalet(Katie’s Cabin) was awesome
In the middle of woods, walk down the valley was like heaven with streams flowing through the pebbles surrounded by beautiful flowers.
Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool room, they had a ball.
Even the surrounding places were beautiful once you come out of gated community
Shops were not that far, Pigeon forge was in reasonable distance
Net net it was a ideal location and very satisfactory cabin

I came here with my partner and a group of friends as a birthday celebration and it was an amazing experience! This cabin is beautiful and the view from the balcony is unmatched! Would definitely stay again. The literal ONLY things that were downsides at all were: the driveway is a bit steep so make sure your car can handle that kind of thing, and the walls and floors are thin so make sure everybody is mindful of others with noise levels at night! Just something to consider when you book, however nonetheless, this cabin was so great.

We had a great time definitely coming back!! Very please with everything in general, we did found some dishes that needed to be clean but order than that everything was nice, the communication with property Manager was excellent.

So much room for our large family! Everything we could have asked for in our Family weekend get a way. We will select this cabin again every time if it is available. We were so Amazed at the size of the cabin and comforts that we had! Our grandchildren felt like they were in a castle. The older kids could separate when needed and enjoy things on the different levels or we could all come together when we wanted to.
The only negatives we encountered, and they were so minor, were the driveway and lack of yard. The kids really didn't mind as they had plenty to do inside!! Thank you for sharing this amazing cabin with our Family!!

We had a little family getaway with my parents, my brother and some of his family, and two special cousins from Virginia. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for a large group. There are awesome views from multiple points of the cabin. It was decorated very nice. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others for large groups.

The cabin itself is a great size for a large group- it definitely had enough space and we liked the location. Also, the cabin company was responsive and easy to work with. Unfortunately, compared to many other VRBO sites I've stayed out, this is on the lower end. The cabin itself seems to be falling apart and not well maintained. Examples include: oven door not shutting, 3rd floor railing seems very unsafe and wobbly, leak under kitchen sink, tv downstairs not working, doorknobs all about to fall out, dirty floors, water damage is apparent in some bathrooms, the grill was so filthy we had to buy cleaner just to use it, etc.
The pictures of the cabin are obviously old as now the trees are so large, they block 95% of the views. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when we picked this cabin for the size and views, it's disappointing. They need to provide updated pictures to show the current state of the cabin. Also, the kitchen is not stocked at all. Most VRBO sites have basic spices on hand (at least salt n pepper).. this one has absolutely nothing. Maybe it's a Covid policy related, but it was frustrating that our last VRBO house had a stocked kitchen with everything and this cabin didn't have a lighter or a salt packet.
Considering the number of cabins available in this area, I would not chose to come here again.

We had fun, but the hot tub needing chemicals the water was thick and needing cleaning. The stove door needing cleaning and the yard had a lot of trash in it. The TV sets the remotes didn’t work most TV had to call office and few times, who ever checks the cabinets she have had stuff fixed and ready. A lot of broken things.

Property was beautiful. Check in and check out was very easy process. Property was clean. Cabin was clean. No problems with bugs. Water pressure was an issue but water stayed hot. Butane for grill was empty when we arrive but one call to office and it was quickly replaced. NO CELL SERVICE. That sucked but it allowed for more family time. Remote for dining area was out of batteries but we didn’t watch television so we didn’t contact office about it. Tub in my bedroom was unable to be used because it leaked water into the bottoms bedroom. We only attempted to use the tub the last night. I’m sure if we had tried earlier in the stay, they would have fixed it. Made office aware of the issue on checkout. Overall, it was an awesome time. We saw a baby bear. Walked right across the parking lot in front of front door steps. It was sooooo awesome!! Would definitely stay here again

Lack of cleanliness. Beds haven't been swept underneath for over a year. Hair left in showers and found on bed sheets. Cabin drawers were grimey, need cleaning. Mattresses were SUPER HARD. Lack of privacy due to sheer curtains in all the main bedrooms that were next to common areas.
