Walkable to Bahama Bob's, Hangout, so much more! Convenient to walk to ice cream, Island Outfitters, beverage store, Italian ice, and more! 10 minutes walk to the Hangout, 2 minutes to Bahama Bobs (we are West of Bahama Bobs). So close to everything, yet in your own private home, and... you get your own private heatable pool. No sharing unlike condos etc!
POOL?
You bet. Private heatable private pool. No sharing. BIG too: 26x15x3-5' Rectangle, and dded a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82-84' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge that varies by season and is per night for length of stay (the 12 month range has been $65-85 depending on season) gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and any time up to at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. See our FAQ about heatable pools too. The pool is beachside, in the sun, with an expansive deck area around it, PLUS a nice shaded and sheltered area to escape the heat, right under the home. Nice!

We added an extra full size fridge under the stairs in the entry by the kitchen. Because... you NEED two fridges when at the beach!
BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! Walk outside and their is nothing between you and the beach except your own private pool. Its RIGHT there. Serious beach access, seriously right on the beach, and right in the middle of everything too!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for as many vehicles as you should be reasonably bringing to a 5 bedroom. 8 cars? Sure. 10 maybe. But do you really need than many cars? 5-6 cars would have lots of room to spread out!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire. Subject to restrictions which often vary by season. Again, please inquire.

We just recently stayed at SeaRae for the second time. The furnishings are beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. The spacious house is in a perfect location that is convenient to everything. This is the BEST place we've ever stayed! Right on the beach, management was quick to respond to any questions and the house is centrally located to main attractions. We booked our trip for next year before we left!

Sea-Rae is a great place to spend your beach vacation! Nestled between two multi-level condos, it provides a sanctuary for families that like to be around people but not too close to them. My husband and I were amused when we realized that was how we felt after a couple of days. The home is comfortable and clean but do be ready to bring/buy cleaning supplies, PT, TP, garbage bags and such. That info is spelled out in the emails sent prior to arrival. There are grocery stores nearby if you do need to stock up. Loved the free standing ice machine, that was just a great little perk! The beds are comfortable, the showers are tight. Nice to have w/d so you don’t have to pack so many clothes. The pictures show the rooms are painted bright colors but they must have just finished updating because everything was neutral. Loved several of the wall art! The home is right on the beach so we could take breaks if you were hungry or too hot. The pool was nice but was much too warm during the heat of the day, it was August. We opted to have beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us by Ike’s Beach Service who were very pleasant and attentive. The driveway was huge with lots of parking, it was a bit hard to find when we got there but it was dark which made it a little challenging. We took short walks to restaurants and stores. We had such a great vacation and will definitely keep this home in our rotation!

Quoting my 5-year-old grandson after our second full day at SeaRea, “Can we live here all summer?” We had a wonderful week on a great property. Beach access and the private pool were a big hit with everyone. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone in the main living area. Televisions in all the rooms were a bonus for a couple of family members who brought their gaming consoles. With having a group of 12 people that included a 13-month-old, eating at restaurants is difficult. Knowing that, we originally planned on getting dinner take-out but discovered that many of the local restaurants did not offer take-out during peak time, i.e. after 3pm. The two refrigerators, though, came in handy, allowing us to get take-out at lunch and extra for dinner. The ice makers provided ample supply of ice for everyone. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the gulf early in the morning and late in the evening.

Our family and friends (10 total) can't say enough good things about this beach home! Location is perfect. Parking ample. Home is immaculate and view of beach and pool from back deck is amazing! The pool is clean and water a perfect temp. We just returned and no heater needed. If we were nitpicking, we might suggest some Tupperware type containers be stocked for storing food in fridge. Most VRBOs we have stayed at have them. Also, the coffee maker in the kitchen is not a Keurig so note that if bringing coffee from home. Having two refrigerators is a very smart idea for large groups. Check-in and Check-out very easy and communication with the rental agency is spot on! Any question was answered immediately. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful vacation where the beach is just a few steps away!!!!!

The house and location were great. The upstairs shower did not drain. Could use trash cans in the bed rooms,more bath towels for each room, and beach towels. Overall the house and our experince was great.

The stay was fantastic, and the house was as well. It was everything we had hoped for and more - the house was perfect for a couple families, the proximity to everything was great, the pool was great, and we had pretty good weather which is always an unknown for this time of year!
I will be sure to recommend this place to others that I know are coming down to visit because I don't think you can beat that place if you have a good sized family or group!

We stayed at SeaRae with 8 adults and 5 kids. The house had plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were right on top of each other. The kitchen is a great size and the new ice maker was a huge benefit.
Since we were staying in early March, we opted to have the pool heated. We couldn't keep the kids out of it! They liked playing in the sand on the beach, but when they wanted to swim, the pool was the best option.
You couldn't ask for a better location either. This house is within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars. It's a perfect spot for both the kids and parents to have fun!

We went to Gulf Shores for a baseball tournament. My extended family, teenagers, their friends, parents and in-laws all were able to enjoy this home comfortably it was clean, had the supplies that you would need and wasn’t overly fussy. The kitchen was nicely stocked and it had a great washer and dryer. Had a nice chairs to sit in on the balcony and by the pool. Could watch the ocean from the home. It was an easy walk to get to the water. I love the fact that it’s an independent home and you don’t have to deal with others walking up the same stairs as you or risk your kids going into the wrong apartment. It was a great trip.

Everything was perfect! We could not have found a better place for us to stay. The home is great and a perfect location. Having a pool made it even all the better and you cannot beat that deck- an incredible ocean view and it's always warm! Genuinely loved it.

Great house and area. Easy private beach access with enough parking for a small sports arena. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and the 16 of us never felt on top of each other due to the large living area, pool, patio, and under house area. Be sure to bring beach chairs, towels, toys, etc as there are none here. Also, bring plenty of toiletries including toilet paper and paper towels as they are limited. Overall great time, would stay again.

No news is good news from us! Bama Beach Houses answered all of our questions beforehand with their proactive emails/notes/instructions. Very impressive—we knew what to expect, right down to the Keurig vs. pot on the coffee! 😊 SeaRae's location is fantastic—walkable to restaurants without the feeling of being crowded…a nice balance considering how crowded things have gotten in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. The renovations to SeaRae were great…everything was perfect, clean, and well done. We loved having a private pool—with 5 kids on this trip, it made things much easier and more fun. We also appreciated someone coming a doing the cleaning during the week.
could continue to ramble, but I'll stop. The house was perfect, and the only thing that kept us from booking it for the same week in 2024 is my older sister going rogue and (foolishly) suggesting we go to Key West next year. That won't happen; so, we look forward to staying at SeaRae again soon! 😊

Your home is absolutely fabulous!! We enjoyed our stay immensely. We had several families and they we're all ages. The house accommodations made those age difference's not so challenging! The pool was a favorite for the younger kids since the ocean was a bit rough during our stay! We typically stay in ocean front condos but I believe we became spoiled to the ease of having the house on the beach! The outside place was awesome for the kids to run around and have kid time!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us we will definitely consider a repeat visit in the future!!

We loved beach house even though the weather was lousy everyday but naturally the day we left. I guess Richard cannot provide excellent weather. One morning we had tropic storm come in which was very unusual weather from Easter. Location was great. House was clean and comfortable. The heated pool saved the trip with family despite the weather. Would highly recommend. We had 6 adults, five kids and one old dog. We will be back !

We had just a wonderful week. Perfect weather, met some lovely people that our young boys went fishing on the beach every morning with, ate some fantastic fish, swam with sting rays all week!! It was really a great week with family.

We had a great stay! The place was at a great location, great cleanliness, thoughtful touches. The pool was excellent for the kiddos and we really enjoyed that space. It was the best parking we've ever had since we are a large family of 16 spread among 4-5 vehicles (7 children and 3 infants so we are busy busy!) this is our annual multigenerational vacation with my husbands side of the family, his siblings, parents, and all their children.
Your property is very clean! My kiddo spilled some water on the floor and I wiped it up with a paper towel on day 3-4 in the kitchen and there was no dirt or grime on the paper! Rare for a beach pad! Cleanliness, location, and close access to beach with the private pool/shade/shower were our favorite features and the kiddos all really loved having the smart TVs on hand for their Netflix and Disney fix.

This was what we wanted for our big family. the place was beautiful and spacious, and the location was ideal. right on the beach with a pool for the kiddos. restaurants all around. Richard was quick to respond to any questions we had. we would definitely book here again.

The Sea-Rae house was so amazing and perfect for our family with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All the windows on the backside of the house made for an amazing view of the beach and the gulf. We loved loved loved the private pool. A pool is a must when you get tired of the beach. We had the best vacation and will definitely rent this house again. We also very much appreciated being able to bring our 2 dachshunds, they were so good and enjoyed the covered fenced in area by the pool.

We absolutely loved the convenience of the home and the location. We also loved having our own private pool and access to the beach. The view from inside the house was amazing! We had a great family vacation.... The check in and check out process was very easy and went well and we enjoyed all the informative emails we received beforehand too.
