About this house rental
Enjoy the views on the decks of "House Divided" in Topsail Beach, NC! Located on the South end of Topsail Island, this single-family home offers four bedrooms and accommodates up to 9 guests. The top floor of this home provides an open concept living and kitchen space. Off of the living room, you will find a Master Bedroom providing a King bed, TV, deck access, and a full bathroom.
Make your way downstairs to the lower level of house that has three bedrooms. All three bedrooms offer deck access. One of the bedrooms offer a twin over Queen bunk bed and the other bedroom is a queen bed. A shared full bathroom is located in the hallway. The last bedroom is a second Master Bedroom suite offering a King bed and an en suite with a stand-up shower and jetted bathtub. The laundry room is also located on this level in the hallway. Pups are more than welcomed to tag along when staying at House Divided.

This, coupled with the increase of guests in our area, creates an inconsistent cellular signal that is outside of our control and therefore, compensation is NOT guaranteed.

Please note that unless otherwise indicated above, linens are not provided during your stay. You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Our vacation homes are not guaranteed to have consumable items in stock for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.).

**Cancellation: Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period. Every effort will be made to re-book the property. If property is re-rented, Guest will receive reimbursement of payments made less nonrefundable reservation fee, cancellation fee (varies by property), and third-party fees (travel insurance, security deposit alternative, insurance, convenience fee, etc.). Insurance fees shall not be reimbursed unless the Agent is reimbursed by the issuing insurance company.
**Check In Day: Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as we are notified your rental is ready for check in, we will give you a courtesy call on the cell phone number that you provided above and we will send your check in instructions via email. All homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue keys or passes. Please note: keys or door codes will NOT be given to anyone under the age of 25 or to anyone who is not named on the reservation. If you need to authorize someone other than yourself to pick up keys or receive a door code email, please notify our office prior to your arrival date.
**Early check-ins and Late check-outs must be pre-approved and are not allowed if there is a reservation checking out the same day another reservation is checking in. You may contact us the week of your arrival to determine if there is any availability to add an early check in or late check out. There is a fee associated with early check ins and late check outs.
**After Hours Check Ins are available for anyone scheduled to arrive after 5pm or on Sunday when our offices are closed. Please notify us as soon as you are aware you will need an After Hours Check In.

Great trip and we enjoyed the home, especially the great views of both the beach and the sound from either side of the house and easy walk to the beach!

Fantastic property located far south and just a VERY short walk to the beach. Sunrises from the front deck and sunsets from the rear deck. Nicely apportioned kitchen, good size rooms, plenty of parking, sand room as you enter to make the beach transition “cleaner”, and bunny rabbits are even around now and then. AC keeps the inside temps steady and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at the property with relatives from the UK we hang seen in 3 1/2 years. The house was welcoming and bright. It fitted its description. We enjoyed both decks giving is great views. It was 5 mins to the nearest beach access. The beach was lovely and we enjoyed the walk around Serenity Point. A great house with a lovely location.

Great house, lots of space. Quick and easy access to beach, a bit of a drive (20 minutes or so) to restaurants and grocery stores. Very peaceful though. Dishwasher never worked, it was replaced on our last day. Also no TV or WIFI for our entire stay. I didn’t really mind that though. Puzzles, reading and UNO occupied our time on rain days and in the evening.

House divided was perfect for our family. There were six of us staying overnight while 6-8 additional family members joined us for meals and board/card games. We loved the spacious common area (14 places to seat while eating) and the private spaces for sleeping and relaxing. Will definitely return.

The south end is the best location, less traffic, less people on the beach. The rooms were a nice size. Views out the front and back. Nice parking and outside area. Easy 1 block walk to beach access.
The place was not left clean by the people before or the cleaners. Why pay a cleaning fee if you have to do all the dishes, put them away and leave the place completely clean before leaving? I understand starting the dishwasher, but we had trouble eating breakfast and getting the dishwasher cleaned and unloaded before check out. 10am was hard to leave by.

The house has an absolutely amazing view of the sound and ocean, and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach access. Our friends loved the outside carport for games and socializing, and we felt very safe that the door locked automatically every time someone closed it.
The only issue that may want to be addressed: One of the people in our group was walking barefoot on the porch outside and stepped on a nail that was jutting out of the plank, so the owner may want to consider a bit of maintenance for safety. We definitely appreciated the provided first aid kit!
Outside of that, we definitely enjoyed the house and definitely recommend it for a stay.
