Our recently remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit is the perfect spot for an extended beach getaway, a remote work retreat, or a comfortable place to stay between housing. Just minutes from the sand, you’ll love living like a local on this quiet street, with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping on Washington Blvd just a short stroll away. ☕️🍽️

The spacious upper-level unit offers a large living room with a deep-seated couch for relaxing, a 60” SMART TV with Roku for streaming your favorite shows, and a cozy dining area that seats 4. Step out onto the small balcony for some fresh air and a view of the neighborhood!

The kitchen is a chef’s dream with new appliances, a large fridge, and everything you need to prepare delicious meals—from dishware and glassware to a drip-coffee maker, blender, and toaster oven. There’s also a small nook off the kitchen with extra storage, a serving station, and a charming breakfast table by the window. 🌿

The first bedroom down the hall features two comfy queen beds, a large closet, and a 32” SMART TV with Roku. The spacious hallway bathroom has been fully redone and includes a beautiful new tub-shower combo.

The master bedroom is a true retreat with a king bed, a desk for remote work, and a 50” SMART TV. Enjoy plenty of storage in the walk-in closet, plus access to a private balcony! The en-suite bathroom has a gorgeous glass-door shower and lux vibe.

And don’t forget the outdoor patio space downstairs—reserved just for you! It’s perfect for a sunny BBQ, alfresco dining, or working outside. Complete with a dining table and BBQ grill, it’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy the California sunshine. ☀️🍔

We welcome groups of up to 5 people and specialize in extended stays of 30 days or more. Need a longer stay than what’s listed? Just reach out—we’re happy to see if we can extend availability for you!

Parking 🚗 We provide free on-site parking for one vehicle! If you have extra cars or guests visiting, there’s free neighborhood parking available nearby. Please note we’re unable to accommodate a second vehicle in our designated spot.

Security Cameras 📹 For everyone’s safety and to ensure house rules are respected, we have security cameras monitoring the outdoor parking area and the entrance to the stairwell that leads up to your unit. Rest assured, there are no cameras inside the unit itself.

WiFi 💻 Stay connected with the fastest WiFi available! Many of our “work from home” guests have used it for video calls and online meetings with no issues—so you’re covered!

Laundry 🧺 No need to worry about laundry—there’s an in-unit washer and dryer located conveniently just off of the kitchen, and it’s all yours to use during your stay!

Entrance 🚪 Your upper-level unit has its own private outdoor entrance, shared only with one other unit. No shared indoor spaces here, so you’ll have plenty of privacy!

Private Patio ☀️ Enjoy your own ground-level patio, reserved just for you! It’s a great spot for soaking up the sun, dining outdoors, or just relaxing in the fresh air.

Check-In/Check-Out ⏰ We use a self-check-in system for flexibility, so you can arrive anytime after 4 PM. Check-out is at 11 AM. Please note we can’t accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs—thanks for understanding!

Supplies 🛒 We’ll start you off with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and spices. If you need more during your stay, there are several markets within walking distance to pick up whatever you need!

Air Conditioning & Heat 🌡️ For your comfort, we have a mini-split for heat and AC in the master bedroom and a portable AC unit in the second bedroom. We have fans in the living room to keep things cool, plus portable heaters in every room for chilly days. The fireplace in the living room is also a cozy heating option!

Package Delivery 📦 Planning on receiving packages? Just let us know in advance! Since we don’t have concierge service, you’ll be responsible for signing and collecting your deliveries. We cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen mail, so please keep an eye out for your packages!

The condo was amazing. Plenty of space and ammenties provided such as bikes and a notebook of activities to partake in. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay, I highly recommend this condo. The professionalism that my guest and I received was awesome, and we will be using the condo again on our next trip. We also loved how Eco-friendly the property is. Five stars across the board!!!!!

The condo is clean. The beds are comfy. The living room is spacious with a huge tv. The bikes are a great deal. Laundry on premise! The hosts are very nice and extremely easy to work with. The location is superb!! Another lamp in the bedroom with 2 queen beds and the dining table area would be a nice addition but that wouldn't stop us from going back. Lovely place overall!

We truly enjoyed our stay here in the Zen Down Condo. It was perfect accommodations for the six of us (4 adults & 2 kid's). The property was clean and comfortable. Andrew was a great host and made sure that our check-in process (being we got in really late) was stress free. He even called my Dad not too long after we arrived to make sure everything was good and to let him know he would be by in the morning to greet him. And as he said he would be, he was there the next morning. You can tell that he really tries to accommodate his guests, making sure they are comfortable and enjoy their stay. The house is within walking distance to everything you could need (e.g. the beach, restaurants and coffee) and just a short drive to shopping, museums and other interests in the LA area. We would definitely choose this property to come back to for our next visit!!

Prior reviews pretty much cover everything!! Though Andrew was traveling during our stay, everything was taken care of flawlessly. Everything here is well represented on this site. One extra treat was enjoying the daily presence of a beautiful parrot/macaw (?) just outside the kitchen window! I absolutely/highly recommend this property and look forward to booking with Andrew, when possible, in the future!

What a great surprise to find this hidden gem in Marina Del Rey! Upon arrival, every detail was well-thought out in this 2-bedroom condo. Good and comfortable bedding and a livingroom with great Tv's. The little kitchen was well-stocked. Since we were a group of four, we also rented zen-up as well as zen-down and both places were lovely with ample parking, bikes and every amenity. We even loved Krishna, the parrot who perched in the outside garden every day welcoming us with his morning hello! The owner and manager were available for our questions and so fun with their surfer-boy willingness to help!. would definitely stay again!

This apartment was just like the photos and perfect for two couples or a couple and children. It was clean and well equipped with everything except bath soap. The location is ideal for exploring the Venice beach, Venice canals or the restaurants along Washington Blvd. It is definitely worth renting a bike and riding the beach bike path up to Pacific Palisades and back. We ate at several local restaurants and enjoyed them all. Mosto Enoteca has very good Italian food - ask to be seated in the Private Wine Room. There is no bar, so if you want a pre-dinner cocktail, stop somewhere else first. Albar Cuisine of India is good for take out Indian food. Basic Italian take out (huge portions) is also available from C & O Trattoria. They are famous for their garlic rolls and they are tasty. Not far from Marina del Rey is a new area in Culver City with a grouping of furniture and home stores - Room and Board is the anchor. We enjoyed stopping by to look around. The highlight of our stay was a concert by the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Walt Disney Hall. The concert hall was magnificent and it was easy access from Marina Del Rey.
