Lovely little house, some elements need attention.

Lovely little house, comfortable and clean

The kitchen was poorly equipped with no baking dishes, no garlic press, only 3 wine glasses for 4 people! Needs a better supply of water glasses, beer glasses and some chopping boards. Bathroom needs attention as cistern on toilet wobbly, sink tap needs tightening and (plasic) bath mat is mouldy. Otherwise lovely with comfortable beds.

We rearranged some furniture to make the lay out workable rather than looking good for a photograph.

Very good

The house was very handy for local high street and had no problem parking the car. The beds were comfortable and had everything that we needed for the weekend. The biscuits which the owner left were appreciated.

There was no hand sanitiser that was the only concern.

Superb

We were only there for a short stay, so did not really use all the facilities, but the kitchen was very well equipped and everything in it was very clean.

We do not like squidgy sofas and would have preferred chairs to benches at the kitchen table, but I accept that many would have a different view.

We enjoyed our stay and will certainly return if taking a break in the same area.

The house was cosy, beds and sofas comfy. We were staying for a couple of nights and only ate breakfasts in the house but there appeared to be all that would be needed to prepare meals.

Staircase. I had to be very careful coming down but of course understood was part of living in an older property.

Relaxing stay in well presented little house

Took a weekend break with my sisters in this sweet little property just a short walk from the main street/shops, river and harbour in Amble. Nicely furnished. Easy to find and park. Comfy beds and we appreciated all the bedding and towels being provided. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very quiet location - perfect to unwind and catch up.

Perhaps provide hand soap for bathroom and kitchen. Also it was cold when we got in there. We found how to put the heating on in the welcome folder but perhaps put heating on for guest arrival in the winter.
