This was a terrible hotel. The shower door would not stay shut, when they cleaned my room they just pulled the comforter up and left the pillows all messed up. My plane was late coming in to Denver so I called the hotel about 20 times and never got an answer. They still had the old kind do airconditioner that barely worked, my room looked out to the roof and I was charged 400.00 a night for the room (they said due to CU game), I say price gouging! There was no safe and the microwave was perched on a shelf that looked like it was going to fall off the wall. It was the worst place I have ever stayed!!!!!

The only complaint I have about this facility was that there is insufficient lighting in the room. An overhead light is definitely needed over the refrigerator/microwave area.

Our room was clean and very comfy. We were close to a nearby lake with walking trails around it. That was really nice!! Staff was friendly. I would definitely come again.

Nice hotel. Mountains behind the hotel. Nice breakfast and breakfast area. We stayed here and drove to Estes Park everyday. It was really convenient being at the north end of town away from the busy areas.

we booked this hotel because we came in early for move in weekend. they only had one room available and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Even though the hotel advertises on its walls, websites and key cards that is smoke-free rooms we brought this to the front desk managers attention and he said sortty its the only room they have. He would not refund us as our night was booked through Expedia, we couldn't stay here as my son has asthma. We had to find different accommodations so we had to pay for a night in a hotel that we didn't even use. Be truly careful if you book here because someone with a medical condition as asthma shouldn't have to suffer in a smoking room when they're advertising says no smoking would have never booked in the first place if the rooms were smoking.

The hotel was ok. We came down the night before my friend’s surgery and stayed because it was an early morning visit. The hotel was comfortable and compared to other prices in town, reasonably priced. It happened to be check-in week at CU, so hotel prices were up and there were a lot of folks in town. This is a nice economical option.

It was a nice enough hotel, however people were using the fitness center in the middle of the night from 3-5AM, making noise with the equipment, slamming the door and talking loudly in the hallway. The hotel should restrict access to that room overnight to avoid waking people!

Our check-in staff was pulling a double shift so we had contact at check-in and check-out. Very friendly and welcoming. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Common areas were clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was provided with our stay.

Although the location of the hotel is great for exploring Boulder, Nick (the manager) is incredibly unprofessional and belittling to his female employees. We arrived at check-in time and only one of our rooms was ready. We had a question about a charge and he would not give us a number to customer service, would not assist us in any way, and was making inappropriate comments to his female staff during our interaction. Not a good place to stay if you are a solo female traveler or have any expectation of something that resembles customer service.

Honestly it served us for what we needed. We did end up in the first floor and close to the front area. The only gripe I would say was in the lobby area which is also the breakfast area there is a door that normally is open for breakfast but closed most of the day but at nights it was open and those in this area were very loud at times. I do have to say they did stop around 10:30pm. But if you stay there try to get something away from the front desk. The room was clean and I liked having just a shower and not a bath/shower. The hotel having a washer/dryer to use was a godsend for us as we had to use it many times during our stay. The staff was very friendly. The only down part is that you were in the very north of Boulder and not a lot of food establishments close like walking distant I found. But it was like 10-15 mins to grab a bite. All in all good place you can tell it’s an older hotel but was clean and nice kept. I even have to say the A/C system though older than most it worked great. One of the only places I’ve been able to keep my room at a level where I wasn’t too cold or too hot. I just don’t like being on the main floor close to the front. That was the downer for me.

The room was bad. The room had a moldy stuffy odor and smelled like smoke when I requested and purchased a non-smoking room. When asked if I can change rooms no response. The second day I called and asked for more towels and toilet tissue the gentleman said: “I don’t think i have any towels and you can come down here to get a roll of toilet tissue.” Service was not great!! I was significantly disappointed. When I went to check out and told the employee at the front desk about my dissatisfaction, all they did was shrug their shoulders and say OK sorry to hear that when I ask for the managers name or who was the manager on duty they said here’s a card and they handed me a card. I would never stay at this hotel again
