The hallway was filled with the smell of someone smoking in one of the rooms. The beds were not clean and had bed bugs. The carpets were dirty and the facility was very run down. Overall, we did not end up staying there and filed a refund request and ended up making another reservation through hotels.com in Holiday Inn Express nearby. This hotel should be removed from hotels.com. The reviews online are horrible and did not see them prior to making the reservation. This hotel can also be a health risk for many.

The room’s plaster walls were crumbling on the floor and the carpet and chair fabric were stained. We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly, but the hotel was so bad it wasn’t an enjoyable stay at all. I recommend spending a little more and staying elsewhere.

For a strict non smoking hotel, it reeked of smoke. Toilet stopped working in the middle of the night. Room was clean though and breakfast was great. I can see they are updating things.

The beds were amazing. The rest, not so much the walkways were filthy, the employees were rude. There were some sketchy people walking through and getting ice from the machine. Filling huge coolers.
There was a man standing by the pool area asking for money. Then he stood there just watching us, until I felt uncomfortable and went inside.
Also, it isn't listed on the site, but when you book there is a fee. Undetermined how much I heard one say $50 and I heard the other say $100. Mine was $50
The pool was decent. But couldn't enjoy it,due to the pan handler.

I stay in moderately priced hotels around the world. No frills needed, just a decently clean room. This "hotel" is the worst i have checked in to (checked in, but then left immediately without staying) in at least twenty years. Dirty sheets, bugs flying all over, lightbulbs out, water damage all over walls and ceilings, cat food all over floor, some mystery substance on the floor in the corner. This hotel is uninhabitable.

Room stunk, they didn’t have the room we reserved when we arrived and they were sold out so we were stuck in a less than desirable room.

The plumbing needs overhaul. We got extremely hot water in the shower with hardly any cold water running to mix.

Stuck in the elevator twice, moved 3 rooms and had a wrench to turn our shower on. Waited 20 minutes to check in

The sink next to the bathroom gets backed up. Dirt everywhere. A half of a small roll of toilet paper. The pool outside was filled with dirt and leaves.

This was by far the FILTHIEST room we had ever seen! First room the lights in the bathroom didn’t work,so we were given a second room,which had someone else's hair ALL over the toilet,tub,and bathroom.there was dirt and debris in every corner, NO toilet paper (went and bought our own) the ONLY clean part of the room was the sheets. We will be adding ALL Baymont hotels to the list of "never again".Friendly staff,yes- and the morning coffee with their breakfast tasted BURNT.

Upon entering the room. The bed was un made. Sheets were dirty. No pillow cases. The bathroom floor had black mold. Mold in bathtub and carpet was ripped. Elevator is out. Refused to stay. Left after 10 minutes and waiting for the manager to give a refund. Its been 4 days waiting.

THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. THE ROOM WAS DISGUSTING AND THE STAFF WERE VERY UNHELPFUL. CHECKED IN GOT TO THE ROOM AND CHECKED RIGHT OUT.

We were traveling to Ann Arbor on a sports weekend and booked late, so our choices were limited. The positives were that the staff was friendly and we got a good rate.
However, the room was in poor condition, generally speaking, with both lamps and electrical outlets that weren’t working, and a magnetic door lock that were very fickle. Overall, this was a property in need of a good physical overhaul.

What I liked was the beds were comfortable and that was it. The elevator was out of order. We were given 3 rooms before one was acceptable. All rooms need to be cleaned thoroughly. Rooms not vacuumed, not mopped with dirty mirrors and walls. Bathtubs could use bleach. All had chipped paint and dirty furniture.

The pictures are deceiving, hotel is in horrible conditions. Bed sheets were not even changed, there were hairs in my sheets, bed was broken. Bed tilt over and I hit my head, there were ashes in the sink upon arrival. My other room had no water, the faucet was broken, we had minor children. They did not do anything about it, sheets were not replaced, nothing.

I usually don’t like to write these reviews, but unfortunately, we arrived and tried to check in and there is a lineup with one girl working who was getting screamed at by four different customers with complaints. when we checked into the room, we noticed that the toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush, The room felt damp, including the bedding, The door didn’t shut properly, and our feet were black once we left from walking on the carpet. definitely won’t be back, unfortunately unless upkeep changes.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Mold, dried vomit, & fecal matter on the walls. Carpet had about a dozen sticky / gummy spots. Bathroom was filthy.

The room I stayed in was terrible. The furniture was damaged. The veneer was missing in places. The tile floor has dozens of tiny chips. The sheer in the window was torn. This was terrible. I've stayed here in the past in rooms that were nice.

Pictures looked like it would be a decent place to stay. When i got there the place was dirty and rundown. Showed me three rooms all had stains on the wall and bathrooms are dirty. The doors looked like a swat team came and kicked it down. It looked a like a crime scene. Asked for non smoking all rooms smelled like ashtrays. Still fighting to get a refund. Big NO NO NO

Always such a good place to stay and the staff is always so super sweet, this girl that’s around my age she’s like 21 looking w dirty blond hair she’s my fave (I’m a girl too btw lol) one of my fave hotels to stay at☺️☺️☺️🩷🩷🩷 thanks for always being so nice and sweet guys ur so cute

As soon as i walked in to check in the lobby i knew i picked a bad hotel. The property was dirty the parkinglot was less than desirable. The 1st room was dirty, it looked like they hired crackheds to remodel there were paint chips and dirt in the bathroom on the floor. The towels were stained and you could smell the mildew. The front desk moved us into a different room, it wasnt much better. We left for dinner before unpacking the car and as we got back to double check the new room number i guess it was never changed in the computer. They gave us a 3rd room, and that room was wildly worse i looked at my wife and we decided to just drive home 3.5 hours back home.
