Dirty : bad staff service: undisclosed fees

Don’t book here, extremely dirty, without towels, very poor facilities. Awful. And when I went with receptionist he told me that he will going to say my coments to the manager…

Did not stay. Numerous loiterers. Looked kind of sketchy. Hope I receive my refund.

DIRTY, DISGUSTING, picture's are FALSE and doesnt show proper cleanliness

AVOID BOOKING HERE. I ARRIVED AND LEFT QUICKLY. I checked in late at night after a long drive and here was the experience that led me to booking into an actual hotel instead. First sign was the lobby or lack of lobby. doors were closed and what was left was a window in a tiny hallway with a slit underneath and holes for sound to travel through. The second was an over flow of trash around the property. Then there were many chairs outside the rooms, upside down crates, ash trays outside, and doors where visibly dirty as well. The last straw was the room itself. bathroom was dirty and found a stranger's pubic hair on the toilet seat. bathtub did not look clean either. I also found a stain on the bed sheets. Felt unsafe the whole time as many people were just hanging out around the property.

I was traveling and needed to sleep for the night, when I arrived I was checked in quickly and early, for a $25 fee, which i happily paid because I needed to get off of the road. There’s also a deposit that you have to pay and they return to you if you don’t destroy the room. The room I originally was assigned was disgusting from the moment I opened the door. The smell of the room, there was fruit flies everywhere, the bedding was very dated, and it smelled like someone had smoked in there for years. I could not relax or bathe in that room, so I went to the office to get refunded. The other man behind the desk took me aside, which was kind of him and took me to a cleaner room, but it still wasn’t that much cleaner. The tv didn’t work, there wasn’t towels, I had to ask for them. My door didn’t have a very secure lock that fully latched, it didn’t feel that safe. While I appreciate the employee for taking me to a nonsmoking room, I personally would never book here again. 😓

The host seemed put out by my misunderstanding him. We had to figure out where our room was because he just handed us a key. When we did go into our room it was totally dark. the light switch didn't work. It smelled like cigarette smoke and dog. The towels were the size of hand towels. No soap. The pillows were cheap and very small. I took pictures. The bathtub was rusty. Mouse terds by the door. Holes in the wall where they moved the shower bar. I will NEVER stay there again that's for sure! And all night long the water heater or something was very loud and kept going on. and the TV wasn't working so my husband called and the host was very abrupt and wasn't understood so my husband called back a few minutes later and he was very ornery. He finally came and walked in and pushed a button the TV and slammed the door on the way out. Still couldn't watch TV so tried to go to sleep. I NEVER do reviews like this but I'm 64 and have had a lot of medical stuff going on and my husband has parkinson's so it's been rough. We are on a fixed income and never do anything so I surprised him with a trip from spring lake MI to a Detroit Tiger game which was great but that motel was awful. I'm so sorry to write this but I don't want anyone else to experience that!

THAT PLACE WAS DIRTY!! it smelled like mold, there was roaches. my body instantly got itchy as soon as I walked in the room. YALL NEED TO GET IT BETTER

When I arrived with my service animal I was turned away and told to stay down the street at the super 8 even though I was booked for a 4 night stay and the hotel is pet friendly. They told me they had no more pet rooms available and to reach out to Expedia for my refund. However Expedia explained that this dirty hotel charged me for a no show. I only booked this for a family emergency and was scared to get out of my car. Save your money or just godown the street to super 8. These people are scammers!!! Not to mention I had a dirty man smoking cigarettes right at the front entrance in front of the “no smoking” sign in front of the desk staff! This is laughable and y’all are going to get sued!

We booked this hotel for one night with our pet . When we reached the property the staff said the rooms which are pet friendly are all booked for the night, and they didn’t allow us to stay in the middle of the night, eve though it was full paid. We had to book another hotel which was much more expensive as it was last moment . The staff at the hotel was not at all friendly and were rude. We are yet to get the refund from Expedia .

Overall my stay wasn't horrible accept for the extremely strong mildew smell from the room. I had to buy air freshener in order for me to be able to even sleep. Otherwise it wasn't bad. Good for a night or two for something cheap and easy, but I guess you get what you pay for

Broken toilet seat, but informed front desk. Figured the housekeeper would have informed management before I can. The room was nice. Need a workable toaster for breakfast area. Present one broke.

Bugs in the bed and on the floor. Sticky floors. Whole area felt unsafe. Could hear yelling from the next room over. Staff didn't seem concerned about middle of the night checkout because of said conditions. Would not recommend.

My room was mostly clean. Didn’t have an odor like most places. The grounds need to be cleaned up some. There were a couple minor maintenance issues. But overall it was a good stay

Very old. Outside room access. The floors in my room were warped badly. Bed was comfortable. Quiet.

There was a roach in the baththub, a dirty qtip behind the bed (easy to see ans pick up during cleaning) and a lot of tiny flies around the sink. The towels were of various shades of white and a bit crunchy to the touch

Reserved room was not available. They said they sold out and there was nothing available. There was no guarantee, even though I went through Expedia. After looking at property and talking to staff, I’m glad I didn’t stay there, but it took me two hours to find another replacement place

The property was filthy. We would have gone somewhere else but there were no refunds. We had to were socks because the floor was so dirty. We stayed two nights and were given no clean towels. My sister had to take them to the office which was a little area and had to put them on the counter where people go to check in. Imagine signing paperwork to check in with dirty towels inches from you. After 2 1/2 hours with no towels arriving, my sister again went to the office and was told they weren’t done so the employee went to an unoccupied room and got some towels from there. The towels were stained and had hair on them. The tv didn’t work correctly, but we played around with it to get it to work. The blankets had cigarette holes in them and my sheets were damp but I’m not sure why. At least the employee was friendly. We read reviews that stated that the employees were extremely rude. The picture in the Expedia webpage did not match the room we stayed in. It was interesting that the lobby was blocked off from the check in desk. It seemed like they did the bare minimum to keep it running. I didn’t read any reviews (that’s on me) but with the brand name Travelodge and Wyndham I thought it would be fine. I will not make that mistake again. It was a MISERABLE experience.

Horrible nasty bathroom

When I got there I asked for a ground floor room at first they said they didn't have one but found one that I could stay in for the night til another came available. When I drove to the back building of rooms there was trash bags everywhere trashcan over flowing. Got to my room smelled horrible the shower the light over sink didn't work. When I tried turning on tv it didn't work when I barely touched tv the back leg fell off and the lamp started flickering (not sure how the TV affected light. A police officer drove thru and I asked if I had made a mistake booking at this hotel. He took my name and asked how long I was staying and said they would keep an eye on me. On my third time going to the office requesting another room a new person was at the desk and he said he didn't know why I was put in that room because they they only rented those rooms to people that didn't care if anything worked because they were homeless or needing a place to do their recreational activities. He gave me a room close to the office it was better. The next morning went out for coffee before my daughter's game and tried to get in room and keycard would not work. Went to office twice on second trip the desk clerk came to the room and his key not his key card would work. Finally 10 minutes later we got in the room. He explained he had to change battery in the key card sensor on the door. Our next trip we will be doing more research on any hotel we rent especially if we use hotel.com.

Good experience as 2 star motal

This place is disgusting. no chain lock on the door. cigarette burns on the blanket, walls and shower were black, no towel. i booked 3 night and stayed one because i didn't feel safe.

Absolute HORRIBLE place. The owner is a thief … truly. He steals your deposit. NEVER stay here. Bugs in room, smells, and not friendly at all.

The room was ok. Could use some patching and painting and fix fixtures that are broken. Remote for tv didn’t work. Fan in bathroom was very dirty.
