On my next visit to New Orleans this hotel will definitely be on the list of possible places to stay. My main reason for returning to the hotel would be all thanks to the amazing and phenomenal front desk staff. Rashaad was probably the best front desk clerk I have ever met in all of my years of traveling. He was welcoming, he made sure we felt comfortable upon check-in and also made sure that we knew great places to go check out to eat in the local community. He had such a genuine smile and energy. Also special kudos to Ms. Rebecca and Mr Corey for being helpful and engaging. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel so there are a few structural things but I know that Mr Corey the GM is working on getting those things fixed. If I have any complaints it was the lack of attention that the cleaning crew took to keeping the rooms clean. I had to request a cleaning of the bathroom and fresh towels from the front desk, the morning after we checked in. That matter was handled, but the cleaning team needs some work. The breakfast options were not super awesome but it was enough to be able to put something in our stomachs to get our day started. I did get to talk with the GM and other staff members about the few concerns that we had and they got things fixed for us as far as the cleaning quickly without any issue. Overall this day was great and again this location is definitely on the list for a second visit if nothing else just to feel that wonderful hospitality.

The staff was terrific! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and receptive. We were disappointed with the hotel. The parking lot in both the front and back had absolutely no lighting. Although it worked, the elevator sounded like it was about to give out any minute. There was no way to regulate the heat or air in the room and the "Do Not Disturb" signs were unavailable. The bathroom smelled of mold/mildew. The overall look of the hotel was run down.

Stayed here for Taylor swift concert - one of the only options availble. Outside was concerning - no curb appeal. Front desk area looked okay until we got to the elevator - which was filthy. Sticky floors, peices of the floor missing, and elevator was super noisy. Room has dirty and stained comforters and sheets, rust on floor and bathroom, blood stains on tile, rotting wood around mirror. Did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed so we slept on our own blankets. Wore shoes the entire time. Bathroom door locked by itself - I got locked in there and had to call my friends in another room to get me. Shower water was grey when we first turned it on. Room smelled of mold. After 8 hours of being there - the clothes in our suitcase literally felt WET! It was so horrible. Area is not safe, all our Ubers to/fro told us to get a different hotel if possible simply due to the location. One night - someone was blasting rock music until 4am. (As if we could get any comfortable sleep anyway).

My friend girl and I went on a girl trip to N.O for the weekend. A much needed vacation. The receiptist Rashad Jackson was the best. His customer service skills was supra...Grade A. He knows the city and gave us excellent and accurate information, direction and scoops of everything we needed. He even went out his way to look the local bus route up on his phone. This gentleman was outstanding. Thank you

When we checked in we were given a room, went to that room and it was someone else’s room. There was someone asleep in the room. Went back to the desk and she just reprogrammed our key to a different room with no apology or explanation. The room was fine the room was pretty clean but the whole building smelled like weed. We left and didn’t stay in that hotel and drove 1.5 hours home at midnight instead. I have tried to reach out for a refund and haven’t gotten any response. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!

This is an absolute last resort motel. Our first room smelled like mildew and humidity, so we were changed. I refused to take a shower from the appearance of the room. It was just not a good experience.

The room was not clean, and the towels were stained. There was a dry marinara sauce stain on the base of the bed which I cleaned with my own Clorox wipes. The sofabed was so dirty and stained we didn’t want to sleep in it. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we arrived at 2:00am so we didn’t have many options. The staff member was outside smoking in their car so when we went down to ask for towels and additional blankets we had to go outside. Thankfully it was only for one night. There was a homeless person camped out next to the ice machine on our floor. We were so scared coming off the elevator to see them with food spread out all over the floor. We did tell the front desk and they were asked to leave but still not something you expect to see.
