Excellent location.
Room was very clean with some nice thought about features - like water bottles, etc.
Getting in and out of the hotel was a bit of a maze, as the floors are a bit odd and elevators don't go all the way down to street level!
I don't really think that the Resort Fee can be legitimately charged. The main pool was cold. Hot tub wayyyy to busy. Towels limited, or charged $25. Guests noisy, even at 3am. The breakfast at $45 is rip off, and was poor value......even the evening buffet at $85 was terrible value for money

It’s very convenient location! Close by shops, restaurants, and across from main beach in Waikiki.

A few hiccups with my card but the front desk was so helpful and even comped a few things to make up for issues on their end. Will definitely be staying here again. Beautiful area. Close to everything that I wanted to do with my toddler.

Lovely beach front hotel. gorgeous views. We loved the shopping and dining on the hotel property. Loved the pool grill.

Staffs aren’t friendly. Rooms were okay, it’s too expensive for an outdated room.
4.0
The rooms are spacious, needed space for 3 teenagers… beautiful view, high floor, comfortable beds!!! Everyone was super friendly. Fast service, plenty of towels!!!!! Only reason not 5 stars, the hotel is very large, can get lost easy. But that’s literally the only thing. Would def recommend 100%.

The location is very nice, basically across the street from the Waikiki beach. There are lots of places to shop and many restaurants. I was very disappointed with the tiny hotel pool because that would have also been a nice option. All of the staff we encountered were extremely nice and helpful.

We had a great time! The room and view was beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly! Very happy with our stay

Stayed here the night before our cruise. Amazing location in the heart to Waikiki, could see Diamond Head from our balcony! The seafood buffet was amazing; great way to start our trip!

Front desk service was amazing and friendly. Location in Waikiki is also great! My only complaint is that the pool area and hot tub is very small for such a big hotel.

Very clean and easy access to everything;
Close to beach. Recommended a lot.

Nice rooms and awesome view from 36th floor oceanfront. Very difficult to find your way around inside. Hard to find the check in area along with an elevator to bring your bags up. Need more signs. No bellmen allowed to help with your luggage????

Its a nice place. Wish they would have said earlier that they would hold our luggage

Coming from a stay in Northshore, it was ko comparison. The room rate was comparable, but the room was not. The tub was old and needs replaced. The balcony was minimal. The pool was small and crowded and pigeons in the eatting area. I guess that is the difference between city and rural stays. Valet was already in the rate at Turtle Bay Resort. Sorry, would have liked to tell you otherwise.

Liked the hotel overall. Only thing that I didn't like were their pillows were too soft and flat.

It’s nice. Not great but nice. Not much of a pool.

Stayed in the Penthouse. We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon checkin, there were price issues with the room and it was settle by the manager. Carpet, drapes, couches, tubs, toilets, and chairs all stained badly or ripped. We had the housekeeping manager look at the room and she agreed the room should not have been rented. We were given a small credit for this issue too. The Hyatt should be ashamed of how the property is unkept.

Great,Great Location. Hotel Room is very old! You pay for the location but at these prices, they can afford updates. Celeberating a special Anniversary and expected a more modern room. We had them to change our beddings because it was soiled at the bottom! WE almost changed rooms which we're happy we didn't because of the location. Daily Resort fee of $56 , was over kill and will be reported to Expedia. However, the staff and facilities were great.

Staffs was friendly and great restaurant in the hotel .

The staff was great and very kind. The location is amazing, very central and easy walking distance to many Waikiki locations. The room was clean and spacious. However, the rooms were older and in need of maintenance. Our tub didn’t drain well at all, the sink was smelly and there was a lot of chipped or peeling paint throughout the room/bathroom and balcony. Overall, it was a great location and the atrium were awesome- just the rooms need a bit of help.

We loved the location. Everything we needed was in walking distance.

Hotel rooms could be updated and do show significant wear. However cleaning staff was very nice and friendly! Parking garage is surprisingly terrible and terrifying to park in and valet had long wait times making it an inconvenient alternative.

very nice room at the 38th floor ocean view

Exceptional location in Waikiki and wonderful stay. The hotel is closed to excellent restaurants and shopping areas.
Friendly staff , extremely comfortable room and proximity to the beach, coupled with hotel amenities made our stay amazing.

Hyatt Regency is an older property but extremely well-maintained. Everything worked perfectly — elevators, showers, full-pressure bidet (yow!), gym equipment, pool chairs. Perfect.

Loved the resort, only downside is the loud construction happening right outside our room that woke us up every day

Clean and comfortable room with nice staff. James at the front desk was so friendly! Parking is a bit challenging. We will definitely come stay here our next trip.

Easy access. Food way too expensive though. Wind was very bad so the windows made a lot of noice.
8.0
The room was good but the bathroom extremely small and tight.
The lifts are not enough, only three out of 4 lifts were working, guests were queuing in long lines for long times, waiting for the lift to go up, and then rushed in filling lift up to its capacity, it was a perfect space to transmit COVID-19.

Elevators were too slow to come. Waited an extended period to get one and half the time they were full and had to wait another extended period for the next one.

Great location in the heart of Waikiki! Friendly staff! Check in was a breeze! Great ocean (partial) from our room. Large room

The Ac in the room was not working properly. Also, the picture of the room is nothing like the actual room. Not inviting at all. Overall I rate the hotel 3

No heat in the rooms, it was cold at night

EWA towers were not as convient to use, elevators hard to fond, some not working. Diamonhead tower much nicer, no keys elevator. Music was loud by pool , right under our room 1413.

Very well located next to great beaches and restaurants. Great stay at a great price.
