The check-in process was very smooth and quick. Staff was super friendly and attentitve at all times. I especially liked our room. It was cozy and quiet. The location was also great. It was close to shops and the beach and away from busy tourist areas. I will definitely stay here again.

Stay was very good. Station House is conveniently located near the Lake. Very comfy / cozy. Restaurant next door is excellent. My only con is breakfast is a granola bar and cup of coffee, no juice.

I recently stayed at the Station House Inn hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the daily happy hour was a lovely surprise, offering nice beer and a chance to relax. The room was fantastic, featuring great decor, very comfortable beds, and a shower with amazing water pressure. The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk into the main town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel offered great, fast free WiFi, which was a significant plus. Overall, the Station House Inn provided a delightful stay with its combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

The location was perfect close to the strip but far away enough from the chaos. The room was roomy, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! Additionally the hotel itself is very dog friendly. The restaurant next to the hotel was spectacular! The only con that I have is that the tv in our room was not working properly. There were many channels in which you could hear the audio but the screen was completely black. Other than that our stay was wonderful and we will be returning!

Awful mix up on check in meant we were given a room that someone else was already in. Returned to reception, who just said sorry about that & gave us another room. Shortly afterwards telephoned our room to ask our name, only to say oh yes, I’ve cancelled the wrong person.

The room was clean quiet and very close to strip. Staff was nice. Room was a little dark. LED lights would help with the lighting. We felt very safe at that location. And there was ample parking for this location at this time of year.

The room was clean in an updated rustic style. Water pressure in the bathrooms are great, and beds are comfortable, but the rooms are dimly lit even with provided light fixtures. Location is prime with a 5 minute walk to the heavenly gondola's.

This is a great spot. some of the motel remodels in Tahoe don't really stick the landing but this place is genuinely nice, with a great vibe, pro staff, and everything in the room seemed high quality. I recommend the attached restaurant Toulouse, even if just for a drink. A couple from NOLA runs it and they are great.

My daughter was hospitalized the day of our trip due to unfortunate circumstances. Not only did they give me a full refund but they worked withhotels.com to process the refund for me. This customer service is incredible and I will only be staying at this establishment in South lake Tahoe from now on.

The room was comfortable, clean, and updated. The hit tub was great for after skiing. The restaurant was good. It’s a five minute walk from Heavenly village. Parking was free and easy.

The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are dark but comfortable. The lobby area is cozy and they offer complimentary coffee and tea. The reception staff was not very helpful probably due to lack of proper training. Our room was pretty dusty and the outdoor hot tub is very small. But in spite some of the negatives, I think it is still value for money.

I loved that the property was within walking distance to literally everything! We walked to the state line for the events attended.
The Inn was clean and didn’t have any strong smells like chemicals cleaners or even an old musty smell. I don’t care where I stay so long as the room and bed I sleep in is clean!
I based my decision to stay here on the past reviews of how clean the rooms were. I cannot stress that enough. Nothing worse than a smelly or overpowering smell of cleaners.
Also it was again walking distance to everywhere we needed to go.
Parking is tight though. If you leave during the night you will be pressed for a spot. They do have additional parking around the back of the property but it may not be ideal for some.
Overall I would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable room, clean and nice decor. The room door did have a warped metal plate where the knob meets the door closure, and door was scratched, but everything else was in good condition. Reception friendly, just wish we could buy drinks in the lobby (instead of having to go to restaurant), it was cozy and good hangout place for our family.

Great staff and very accommodating. Lovely and cozy lobby, and breakfast area. Coffee is great and hot chocolate. They sell smores kit but we brought our own and they offered is the sticks and marshmallows. Any time we needed anything they were always there. My only minor feedback would be to have more light in the room. Thats all.

Well managed place, nice lobby w/fireplace & sitting area. Location walking distance to central main road, restaurants, shopping. Plenty of free parking. Room was clean, beds too soft tough :( my only gripe. They have cable, Paramount movies a good plus+! :D Shower was awesome, strong, plus they have a heat lamp when you come out of shower. Plenty of power outlets esp on bedside table & on counter space next to wash basin. They have plenty hooks to hang coats, bags, etc., it was all thought of & they gave plenty of towels (you can ask for more). Bedside lighting was bright for reading. It was a pleasant stay, a keeper :)

Facility was wonderful. Room was great. But the receptionist Saturday and Sunday morning was very unpleasant and cold. Saturday when we went in for coffee and the breakfast they serve. I asked where they served the food because there wasn’t anything out. She looked at me like I was stupid and replied with “what food we don’t serve breakfast” so I had to ask again about the oatmeal and granola bars and muffins. Then she decided to look and see that everything was empty. But she was too busy on her phone to realize or be bothered to help a guest. And again Sunday morning I went in this time just for coffee and watched three or four more guests come and go and she never looked up from her phone to say hi or good morning or ask if a guest needed anything. If your gonna have that kind of attitude I don’t think guest services is the right job for you.

Very nice stay. Great value, fantastic customer service, comfortable room and very comfortable bed.
Biggest gripe was the very minimal grab-and-go breakfast, which consisted of a few prepackaged pastries and crumbly granola bars, and a keurig for tea/coffee.
Managers reception M-Th 4-6pm is a nice perk for weekday visitors. Hotel location is nice, not a bad walk to the Heavenly gondola or the lake, great variety of dining inside ~10min.

This is exactly what I expected (hot and a cot). The room was clean. The shower was phenomenal. Slept like a baby. I parked the truck right outside our door. I would highly recommend this place for a mid range hotel in Tahoe.

This is a great property it’s affordable and clean. The beds are comfortable and you can walk to heavenly village and the staff is really nice. You can also walk to the light and watch the sunset.

Please don't count on half the amenities that Expedia (or their website) lists. The breakfast is not a thing; there is no bar on-site, and plenty of other small things added up to a weird experience here. If I hadn't been misled, this would have been a better stay.
